Cobra exhaust and performance parts for Harley-Davidson models.

About Cobra

Cobra is a long-time maker of exhaust and rider comfort accessories for cruisers, and its range here is split about evenly between the two. This page lists everything from the brand, for Harley-Davidson Touring, Softail, Dyna and Sportster models as well as Indian Chief and Scout.

Exhaust and intakes

The exhaust range includes 911 Uppercut slip-on mufflers for Milwaukee-Eight Touring, PowrPro RPT 2-into-1 systems for Dyna, 3 inch NH Series slip-ons for Sportster 2014 to 2022, and true dual headpipes for 2007 and 2008 Twin Cam Touring. The Cone air intake system comes in black for Milwaukee-Eight Softail. Exhaust and intake parts are sold for off-road and closed-course use only, and fuel-injected bikes need a tune afterward.

Backrests and racks

Detachable backrests include Detach Mini, Short and Tall versions for Touring and Indian Chief and Scout, with docking kits sold separately. Luggage racks include Big-A flat racks for Touring 1997 to 2008, wrap-around two-up racks for Chief, removable racks and bolt-on wide lug racks. Round and square sissy bars cover Softail models.

Fitment

Cobra parts are model and year specific. A backrest needs the right docking kit, and a slip-on must match your engine and header design. See all exhaust, body parts and luggage for related pages.

Cobra FAQ

Does Cobra exhaust need a tune?
On fuel-injected bikes it is recommended, since the exhaust changes airflow. A tuner from engine management can help.
Are Cobra backrests detachable?
Yes. The Detach line uses a docking kit so the backrest can come off when not needed.
Does Cobra make Indian parts?
Yes, including backrests and racks for Indian Chief and Scout.
What exhaust styles does Cobra make?
Slip-ons, 2-into-1 systems and dual headpipes, depending on the model.
Do I need the docking kit separately?
Some listings list the docking kit separately. Check the description.
