Exhaust
Exhaust systems, slip-ons, headers and mufflers for Harley-Davidson and Indian bikes.
About Exhaust
Exhaust changes sound, flow and weight in one move, which is why it is the first upgrade for many bagger and cruiser owners. This page lists exhaust parts for Harley-Davidson and Indian models, and the year and model bar filters it to your bike.
Who makes what
Cobra supplies about half of the page, with slip-ons, 2-into-1 and dual systems. Sawicki adds stainless Cannon systems and slip-ons, and DEI provides heat shield liners, exhaust wrap and tape that protect parts near the pipes. Harddrive and KPMI supply a smaller number of replacement pipes and parts.
Slip-on, 2-into-1 or full system
- Slip-ons replace the mufflers and keep the stock head pipes, which makes them the easiest install
- 2-into-1 and merged systems replace the head pipes and collect both cylinders into one outlet for a bigger change in flow
- 2-into-2 and full-length systems keep a dual look and replace most of the stock exhaust
What to check
Exhaust is among the most year-specific parts on any bike. Baggers split between Twin Cam, Milwaukee-Eight and newer generations, and touring and Softail frames need different parts. Look for your model code and for notes on heat shields, O2 sensors and bag clearance. Pair your exhaust with a tuner from engine management, browse touring parts or Softail parts to start from your bike, and see Cobra and Sawicki for the brand ranges. Exhaust is sold for off-road and closed-course use only.
