Storage Covers

A cover protects paint and chrome from dust, sun and rain between rides. This page lists motorcycle covers in sizes from medium to 2X for cruisers and tourers, as well as attachment accessories and a few small covers for Evolution parts.

Brands and styles

Dowco makes the Weatherall Plus covers in sizes like LG and with an EZ-Zip opening or a ratchet system, plus Ultralite and Ultralite Plus in medium, large and extra large. Nelson-Rigg lists Deluxe All Season covers in navy and silver or black, and Falcon Defender covers in black and grey in large and 2X. Pro One adds a billet Millennium points cover for 1984 to 1999 Evolution Big Twin, and Harddrive carries a few more.

Picking the right cover

Measure your bike's overall length including accessories such as a windshield, backrest or luggage rack, and choose the size accordingly. A cover should fit snugly enough not to flap in the wind. Indoor use calls for a breathable fabric, while outdoor use needs a water-resistant cover with underbelly straps. Let the bike cool before covering, and make sure the bike is dry to avoid trapping moisture.

If you store the bike for the winter, add a battery tender and take a look at security locks and stands and lifts.
