About Breakout Parts
The Breakout's fat rear tire and stretched look set it apart, and most of what owners add is about seating, sound and stance. This page lists parts tagged for Breakout fitment, a smaller range than the larger Softail pages but with many model-specific items.
What you will find
Seats lead the list. Mustang Motorcycle offers solo and diamond passenger seats for 2018 to 2021 Breakouts, and Danny Gray makes a Weekday 2-Up IST seat for Fat Boy and Breakout. For the rear tire, Michelin Scorcher 11 240/40R18 is listed for V-Rod and Softail Breakout. Dynojet Power Commander 6 tuners cover Milwaukee-Eight and Twin Cam Softails, and Cobra sells a detachable short backrest. Exhaust and engine items come from Vance and Hines and KPMI, such as the cylinder stud kit.
Fitment notes
The Breakout first came out on the Twin Cam Softail frame and later moved to the Milwaukee-Eight platform in 2018. Seats, wheels and exhaust do not carry across. Look for the year in the product title, and see Fat Boy parts or Softail parts for related pages.
The wide rear tire means anything near the swingarm and fender is model specific, so avoid generic fitment guesses. If you plan to change tire size, check fender clearance and belt alignment first. Seat choice also changes how far forward your feet and hands feel, so think about reach before you pick a shape.
