The Lindby Unibar was surprisingly easy to install except I could have used an extra hand getting the center bolt started. It lined up perfectly with the mounting tabs already on my 2009 FXSTC and the chrome looks great.

Delivery was only a couple days. Bar arrived in good shape. Chrome looks good. Had all the hardware. Luckily my 2009 FXSTC softail had mounting points already and mounting was easy except it would have helped to have an extra set of hands to hold the bar in place to get the top bolt started. It's a good fit and easy installation.

Nice engine guard

I ordered the Lindby Unibar and it arrived in two days as expected. Installation was a bit challenging because I had to flex the bar slightly to align the lower mounting holes on the bar with the mounting holes on my Springer. Not so easy to do by hand with the bar tubing size. I ended up using a squeeze clamp normally used to hold wood pieces together securely for glueing. That worked well because the clamp has rubber grips that will not mar the paint on the bike or the chrome finish on the bar. The grip provided added force and alignment control that would have been very difficult to do by hand. I was able to get the bar installed and the finished assembly looked great.

I love to ride but im not a mechanic. These highway guards were fairly easy to put on my softail standard. 3 bolts easy, Well, the third bolt not so much. However, after 45 minutes i got er done. Good guards, relatively easy to put on. Price a bit much. overall a good product.

i bought this engine guard a year ago and installed it right away. The install was a little more difficult than it should have been, some holes didn't match up exactly the way they should have, but I was able to get it mounted. After a year of use I can honestly say I love this crash bar. The bar itself is incredibly strong, it can hold my bike up on its own with my highway peg in the down position. The only thing I wish was is that the powder coat was a bit stronger because it did scratch and chip from moving my peg mounts around from time to time to figure out where exactly I wanted the pegs to be that felt the most comfortable. It also looks great on my bike.

I will never use anything other than Lindby Bars Ever. They have saved my life.

Excellent fit. The bolts lined up perfectly and nice chrome finish. I think it's a tiny bit wide and it's a few inches wider than the one on my Street Glide but there's probably a reason for it. Possibly so your feet fit within it as it's close.

Installed on my 2013 flstc. Bottom holes do not line up with bike bracket. I had to take a car jack and jack up the engine guard to bring it in line with the bike bracket. Once I did this the installation went well. The directions say to loosen the bike bracket, this did not help.
