About Street Glide Parts

The Street Glide is the fork-mounted batwing bagger, the bike most riders start their build on. This page collects parts for the Street Glide family (FLHX, FLHXS, FLHXSE, FLHXST, FLHXL Limited and related models, including the CVO versions) so you can go straight from "what do I want to change" to "does it fit my year".

What riders usually change first

A stock Street Glide is comfortable and quiet, which also means there is room to wake it up. Most builds start with the intake and exhaust, then a tune, then move to the parts that change how the bike feels: shocks, fork internals and brakes.

Check the year before you order

The Street Glide has been through several generations. Twin Cam bikes run through 2016, the Milwaukee-Eight arrived in 2017, and the ST models carry the 117 engine. Newer model years also bring changes to electronics and handlebar fitment, so a part that works on a 2020 may not bolt up to a later bike. Each product lists its fitment, and the year and model bar filters this page down to what fits.

Street Glide trikes are not included on this page. If your bike has the frame-mounted fairing instead, head to Road Glide parts. For the whole family of touring parts, see touring parts.

Street Glide exhaust, tuning and engine parts are off-road and closed-course items, and local emissions and noise regulations are worth reading before you install them.

Street Glide Parts FAQ

What is the difference between Street Glide and Road Glide parts?
The Street Glide has a fork-mounted batwing fairing and the Road Glide has a frame-mounted shark-nose fairing. Engine, exhaust, brake and suspension parts often cross over. Fairing, headlight and handlebar parts do not.
Will 2024 and newer parts fit an older Street Glide?
Not reliably. Handlebars, wiring and some electronics changed on newer bikes. Check the year range on the product page, and use the year bar to filter.
Is a slip-on enough for a Street Glide, or should I fit a full system?
A slip-on is easier to install and changes the sound with a modest flow gain. A full system with a merged collector is the bigger change and almost always needs a tune. See exhaust.
Do I need a tuner after a Stage 1 upgrade?
Yes. Intake and exhaust changes shift the air-fuel mixture, and a tuner such as a Power Vision from Dynojet lets you load a matching map.
How are Street Glide exhaust and engine parts sold?
Exhaust, tuning and engine parts are sold for off-road and closed-course use only. Read each listing before ordering.
