Great Glasses

I've now had these glasses for a few months and I can honestly say that I love them. It's great to be able to switch lenses. I have a smaller face so they fit well on me. They look great and I use them as my primary pair of sunglasses as well. I will say for those of you looking for something that completely blocks out the sun, this doesn't do that. I've noticed that it has the tint so you can still distinguish color and time of day (I sometimes forget I'm wearing them), and it will darken everything but still let you enjoy how it looks. I don't notice the sun a whole lot but you will see some glare and will probably be squinting a little bit at rare times. Other than that great glasses and I completely recommend them.

Look for something else

Coolest thing about this glasss is that they can convert into “goggles”. Material feels cheap and brittle. Foam inserts are cheap and they just don’t fit well. Will be returning

Excellent goggles

First time popping the lenses out were pretty freaky but after a couple times it feels natural to do it. The goggles have a great field of view. They are very good at keeping out wind, driving down the freeway at 80 and my eyes were fine. They are also great as regular shades when you're out and about.

Small and not form fitting

I thought that they would be bigger and cover more. They are rather small and even with the foam around them for protection I could still feel the air flowing through to my eyes. I also have a really cheap pair and they seem almost identical.

Feels like cheap plastic I get from the mall

I read all the reviews and then some more on youtube and online. I was very excited about them, but what a huge disappointment when they did coming. The frame is basically the cheap plastic stuff you get for $2 on a mall kiosk. The foam surrounding feels cheap as well. I end up going back to my sun glasses I got for my car. What a huge disappointment.

I like everything about the glasses but they were not large enough. I recomend for women, teenagers & people with narrow heads.

Minimal Wind Blockage

I bought these specifically for a pair of goggles to use at night with clear lenses. I had Lasik eye surgery so my eyes dry out much faster than average, and I wear a half-helmet when riding, so it is especially important to have a good pair of wind-blocking sun-glasses/goggles. I own a pair of Liberty Sport Deflectors, which are amazing during the day, but they are tinted and not viable for wearing during night-time. The Bobster Road Hog II Goggles are priced fairly high, but they come with four different lenses and goggle straps, along with the regular sunglass arms. Unfortunately, these don't block the wind very well at all, and are no better than wearing regular sunglasses. I am highly-dissatisfied with these and will likely not buy another Bobster brand product. Unfortunately, that means I also need to get rid of these ones, so I guess I will be craigslisting them!

Very comfortable but not dark enough

These glasses are very comfortable, but I have mixed feelings about them because the lenses aren't dark enough. They do come with a nice variety - clear, amber, and dark, but the dark ones just don't do enough for me. I felt like I still had to squint while I had them on.<br /><br />I'm saying I recommend them because they are nice glasses, and if you aren't concerned with the dark lenses you will enjoy them.

Some design flaws and painful on the nose.

These goggle/glasses looke good but they don't work well on the outside of a HJC half helmet with the strap and if you wear them inside the helmet with the strap around the back of your head tight enough to keep any draft out, they pinch the nose so bad I have a red mark within the time it takes to commute to the office (45 minutes). I will try adding some padding to help before I go back in.<br /><br />Also, the snaps that hold the open and closed cell inserts in place are very weak and the glasses spread more than the inserts resulting in them popping out on an XL head or outside a helmet. I have gone ahead and superglued the open cell insert to the glasses to keep it from coming off.

Great, but cut into peripheral vision

I love the lightweight feel and vision of these (with all of the lenses), but they will eliminate a lot of your peripheral vision. I suppose that most of this comes as a result of style, but I decided to keep these for driving in my car, as they clipped the periphery too much for a bike.

Great for the money - not sure about the changeability

I needed a pair of glasses that were both dark enough for the blazing Brisbane sun and i could wear at night without having to carry a second pair. I still have to carry a second pair. These became my night ones.<br />The day lenses are definitely dark enough and with the 4 grades to choose from they will certainly meet all the needs, however the change out requires you to put your greasy fingers all over the lenses. <br />I don't think i looked at the pictures properly before I bought these because I thought there was some sort of mystical finger avoiding lens module....... anyway.<br />The lenses all pop in and out with a good amount of pressure, and feel pretty solid once in, I just think that if I did that change even once or twice a week I don't think they would last the year.<br />I am using the amber lenses for night riding and keeping the darkest lenses in the bag in case i forget or lose my existing day ones. <br />I couldn't really see me using the clear lenses for anything, amber at night seems to make things a lot clearer and road debris seems to stand out more.<br />I am using them without the wind or sweat guard so I can't speak to either<br />I have used them with the strap and with the arms and both are fine, but I prefer the arms because i can take the glasses off easier.<br />Having said all that I am happy with these and would recommend with all the caveats I have mentioned.

Great Riding Glasses

I use these on my cruiser, and I love them. The interchangeable lenses are easy to change and make it as if I have 4 pairs of sunglasses. Highly recommended!

More thorough directions needed

Overall product is a good buy with great features; the only drawback I found was, the directions or lack thereof for swapping lenses need better description, I had to go to YouTube to find a review video to make sure I wasn't going to break the frame when popping the lenses out, it would also be better if when the sunglass arms are installed, that the hinges flexed so as to not make it too uncomfortable for folks with wider heads

Wow, they work!

So simple to change lenses, really makes these perfect for warmer weather. Interchangeable foam barrier is great for changing weather conditions.

Great at blocking wind

these glasses are great at blocking wind, just what I wanted them for. The way the frame attaches to the foam surrounding could be a little sturdier (it pops out sometimes), but they are still fully functional and a great deal for the price.

Prefer a simpler goggle

To start off, in my opinion Bobster is a great brand. They did however go a little bit too far with Road Hog II in the sense that there are too many parts. After purchasing them I realized that I would rather carry 2 pairs of sunglasses or goggles rather than switching between a darker lens during the day and a clear at night.<br /><br />As for fitment, in comparison with my other goggles (The Bobster Fat Boy) the temples on this goggle are too loose, and although the closed cell foam filling is comfortable it blocks a part of my vision - Could be the size of my head but I don't face that issue with the Bobster Fat Boy!

Solid product at this price point

These are really flexible pair of sunglasses/goggles. They work as everyday sunglasses, work as goggles on the bike, and are great for night riding since the lenses can be swapped out. I prefer the closed cell foam but this has both open and closed cell if you prefer either. No instructions included, and it really feels like you're going to break these the first time you pop the lenses out, but the lenses just pop in and out of the front.<br /><br />Fog is pretty minor and the lenses actually stay pretty clean despite putting your fingers all over them. I have been using these for a couple weeks now and don't really have any complaints, other than just a little wind getting in above 40 mph or so.

Fit great and they are a great use durring long sunny rides and with the changeable lenses are good for night rides too

Road Hog sunglasses

They are comfortable but not unbreakable, after fly off from my jacket at my own fault lol I found them and put it back together and taped on of the arms back on. I still use them, a few scratches on the lenses. I would purchase them again.

to small

i have a small head and these google/glasses are to small arund my eye socket, and the open and closed cell let to much air in when going down highway.

Work great, wish they fit a bit tighter

I love these. This order was for a friend. I've had mine for several years. I really like all the different lenses, easy to change from day to night or whatever. Great fit.

Cheap

They come with a lot of options, but seemed cheap. Never kept, returned immediately.

Great Set

Okay, so I got these with the purpose of fitting them with my prescription lenses. That did not work that well since my prescription is a little strong for the curve (at least for me). But they work well for my son at least.<br />Interchangeable lenses are nice as is the ability to switch between the band and arms. The glasses were a bit wide for me to work very well, but as stated they worked okay for my son.

Poor quality and poor fit

I can't believe anybody said these were good. They feel cheap and poorly made. I have tried on better glasses off the $10 rack.

I purchased these sungoggles and was deff happy, they fit nicely, good quality overall an awesome purchase!

Great buy

I've had a pair for over 3 years. Although the lens switch out easy, I always kept a pair of clear glasses in my saddlebag. I keep the spare lens in there just in case. Bought a second pair yesterday, and will retire my current ones to night glasses. They hold up better than any glasses I've owned, and I've been riding over 30 years.

Solid Product for a Reasonable Price

I primarily do city riding, and a few short journeys on the highway, and I needed a pair of specs to compliment my Bell Rogue helmet. The Road Hogs are versatile for all rides and styles. It comes with a bunch of lenses, so you will be able to switch it up seasonally. I hope they last for a few years, and if they do, I will grab another pair when my current ones kick the bucket. I also use them as my primary sunglasses.

These glasses work great as sunglasses and ridding googles. The interchangeable lens are great for all times of day.

I really love these glasses and am very happy that the lenses can be swapped out and they can either be sunglasses or goggles.. When I wear my helmet, I use them as goggles and when I am cruising around town, I use them as sunglasses...I had troubles on popping the lenses out, but went to the original manufacture website at http://www.bobster.com/images/technology/roadhog%20warrantycard_OLF.pdf and these directions helped me to get this figured out

Excellent fit besides having several lenses to choose from.

I was quite satisfied with the purchase. The conversion to goggles and back requires a little work, but the produce is quite good.

The most versatile pair of goggles I've had. I love the 4 pairs of lenses and they are easily swapped for when day turns to dusk and dusk turns to night. Can't beat the price for what you get.

These glasses are great! Having lense implants I have to be careful not to let my eyes dry out. I wear these glasses at highway speeds with no windshield and they work great!

Chose these for the style and ability to change lenses. Did find that eye seal was lacking.

Wife wanted it. Likes it but does fog up in hot humid weather.

1st time wearing sungoggles, used to always wear full face helmet, recently started wearing 1/2 helmet, good fit, stays on well, like the assortment of lenses and ease of changing them and the optional strap, which have yet to use.

These are great - I work nights and it's usually dark when I'm heading to work or going home (but never both ways) so it's very convenient to be able to swap lenses quickly. These things are a snap to convert from goggles to glasses also - same with changing the foam.

Goggs are comfortable,seem to be a quality set of glasses have not switched lenzes as of yet...no need don't ride at night.nice to keep wind and dust out of eyes!
