These shocks raised my bike up just enough for those times I feel like pretending my sportster is a dirt bike or if I need to hop a curb in the city. they did stiffen the ride up some, my bike no longer bottoms out on bumps, now it just hits them harshly. If you are looking for comfort look somewhere else. If you are looking for a decent budget minded shock you found em.

these shocks make a huge difference in the stance of your bike. Adjust your front height and you can get a cool flat track stance. I lowered the front about 2 inches and the bike is almost level now. The center of gravity is raised so it handles differently but I like it and it is smother than stock.
