I installed 12" apes on this bike and I hated them. Very disappointing after spending $600 on bars, cables and fluids. I was able to install these bars using the 2" longer cables I'd used on the apes and it is SO much better. Great quality and look as well. Pro tip: strip your wiring from the black plastic sheath and run the wires through that way to make the job simple. Installed on 2002 Road King Classic.
These bars are exactly what my 17 Heritage needed. Perfect size and they look amazing! Use a little patience when feeding the wires through, especially on TBW side and you will be very Happy!
