Frequently Asked Questions

How much will this lower my Sportster?

Up to 2.5 inches in the rear and 2 inches in the front, depending on bike condition and setup.

Do I need to disassemble the forks to install the springs?

No — drop-in fork springs install without fork disassembly on most models. FLH models require sliding the fork legs down to access the cap.

How long does installation take?

The complete kit installs in under one hour with basic hand tools.

Will this fit my FLH?

FLH models are compatible but require the fork legs to be slid down to access the spring cap. The legs do not need full disassembly.

Should I check anything before installing?

Yes — verify clearance and wheel travel with your tire and wheel setup before installation, as different shock lengths can affect handling and ground clearance.

Look fantastic on Triumph Bonneville T120

Thanks to Stuart Fillingham's YouTube video, I bought these. Couldn't be happier. A bit heavier than I expected but that just goes to the ruggedness of these panniers.

Love. These.

The style is awesome! Love the relaxed look with all the trim to make them classy too. Easy to get in and out of...really like the flip fully open and the finger hole snaps.<br />Great bag, perfect size for the HD Street 750!

Sweet

The Dark Oak canvas bags fit my Olive Gold Harley Slim S great! The fit and finish add that nostalgic look to an already classy bike. They are a bit small, but I didn't need to move my signals to make them fit, though plate relocation would be required had I not already moved it. They are a great addition and I can't wait to show them off.

Commuting, not touring

I sent them back. They looked nice, but they were too small for my application

Burley Brand Voyager throw over.

Styling looks excellent. Build quality looks good, but there are definitey gaps in the lid closures where the rain can get in. The buckle snaps are easy to open and close but the tend to come unsnapped from just normal freeway riding speeds. The bags still stay closed because of the strong clips,, but the cool-loking bucklet snap come open. Would I but them again... probably. I might look at the black ones for better weather proofing. The olive onmes do looks fantastic, though, on my flat black T100. Very easy to take off and put on; takes only a couple of minutes. I used a universal rack assembly.
