Look fantastic on Triumph Bonneville T120
Thanks to Stuart Fillingham's YouTube video, I bought these. Couldn't be happier. A bit heavier than I expected but that just goes to the ruggedness of these panniers.
Burly Brand builds handlebars, suspension, seats and bolt-on kits aimed at the rider doing the work in their own garage. Its slammer and stiletto shock kits and bar kits are designed as complete, no-guesswork packages rather than loose parts.
Give your Harley Dyna that low-slung, custom look without completely compromising your ride quality. Burly Brand Slammer Plus 11.5" black shocks are engineered to reduce your bike's ride height while maintaining nearly two inches of suspension travel.
These black Slammer Plus shocks from Burly Brand are designed specifically for Harley-Davidson Dyna models. They feature a dual-rate spring system, combining a flat wire spring with a progressive main spring, to provide a balanced ride that handles both minor road imperfections and larger impacts effectively. The high-pressure gas-charged damper ensures consistent, fade-free performance for confident riding.
Installing these Burly Brand Slammer Plus shocks is an effective way to customize your Dyna's profile and improve its road presence. While the goal is to lower the bike, these shocks are engineered to prevent harsh bottoming, offering a more controlled experience than budget lowering blocks. Always ensure proper wheel travel and frame clearance before riding, especially if your Dyna has other aftermarket parts.
Will these shocks fit my 1991-2017 Dyna model?
Yes, these Burly Brand Slammer Plus shocks are designed for 1991-2017 Harley-Davidson Dyna (FXD) models. Please use our Shop by Bike tool to confirm precise fitment for your specific year and model.
How much will these shocks lower my bike's ride height?
These Slammer Plus shocks are engineered to lower your Dyna to an approximate ride height of 10.5 inches. Actual ride height can vary slightly depending on rider weight and how you set the spring preload.
Do I need to check clearances before installing them?
Absolutely. With any change to suspension length, it's crucial to verify wheel travel and frame clearance to ensure there is no rubbing or interference with other components before riding.

The style is awesome! Love the relaxed look with all the trim to make them classy too. Easy to get in and out of...really like the flip fully open and the finger hole snaps.<br />Great bag, perfect size for the HD Street 750!
The Dark Oak canvas bags fit my Olive Gold Harley Slim S great! The fit and finish add that nostalgic look to an already classy bike. They are a bit small, but I didn't need to move my signals to make them fit, though plate relocation would be required had I not already moved it. They are a great addition and I can't wait to show them off.
the snaps break to easy not impressed with this bag at all
I sent them back. They looked nice, but they were too small for my application
Styling looks excellent. Build quality looks good, but there are definitey gaps in the lid closures where the rain can get in. The buckle snaps are easy to open and close but the tend to come unsnapped from just normal freeway riding speeds. The bags still stay closed because of the strong clips,, but the cool-loking bucklet snap come open. Would I but them again... probably. I might look at the black ones for better weather proofing. The olive onmes do looks fantastic, though, on my flat black T100. Very easy to take off and put on; takes only a couple of minutes. I used a universal rack assembly.
