Great but needs a revision

We use them for everything but ORV. They are particularly well suited for communicating with a spotter while backing a trailer, or being in a follow car for a motorcycle.

These things rock, but they need some changes before they're where they need to be.

First they need to add adjustability for the clamp force. As is they are too tight to be worn for a long period of time IMO. I understand the need for tight clamping force due to not wanting to come loose, but it makes no difference if you take them off entirely.

Other problem is I'm pretty sure the ear muffs aren't replaceable. Don't you worry, I'll find a way. But this is absolutely ludicrous given the price of a pair of these + a pair of pack talk edges. This kit literally costs as much as some motorcycles. Let us replace the ear muffs, preferably with a standardized size so that we can customize it to our liking.

Other than that, they're great and yea I'd still buy them. Here's to hoping next version is even better.

Part of our new SXS life

These wireless headsets are awesome. I Get between 8 and 10 hours of talk time. You can get a mile range in perfect conditions but In a Forest area you can just get beyond line of site. But the daisy chain of the Mesh system works great for group rides and everyone being able to play their own music keeps everyone happy. Once we got the first pair, we liked them so much, we got 5 more for the rest of the family. No annoying distortion or static broadcasts. It either works clearly or it disconnects when out of range. It seemlessly reconnects when back in range. The voice activation is a great feature but it isn't smart. You have to say commands perfectly as written. Only having 3 buttons makes operation hard to remember unless you use it everyday but the voice activation makes up for that. Sucks to charge after use compared to a hard wire system but What's great is if I buy a new SXS, I no longer have to buy another communication set up.

Great but not so great

Works very well. Can listen to my own music or share music. Intercom is better then past Cardo systems and makes riding or loading a machine very helpful. For the money. It should be made with more comfortable ear cups. Also it's too tight. It's like they put all the engineering design into the software and totally gave up on the comfort portion. These things have less economics then a 10yr old pair of ear pro I bought for $25 with my leaf blower at the hardware store. Disappointing today the least and you cannot replace the ear cups. Very dumb. Definitely NOT five stars. It recommend them but with a substantial warning to a buyer to not expect too much in the way of comfort for the money.

Edge phones

Great sound, cuts out outside noise the fm modulator doesn't pick up stations that well and cuts out overall works as it should as long as the unit syncs up to the others when we ride

Polaris xPedition and RideCommand Plus with Cardo

I bought these to use with my Polaris xPedition and RideCommand. My wife and I love them. The Polaris Northstar is a bit noisy in the cabin so these not only work as a communications unit but also block out the background noise. I must add that in order to get them working as planned I used MS IE AI and asked the questions I ran into installing the units with bluetooth and RideCommand which was a great addition to the YouTube videos provided by Cardo. The AI app really was a HUGE help in guiding me thru the process and would recommend anyone to do the same.
