Nice set of mufflers
Looked at many different options for slip ons. Ive previously used Vance and Hines on multiple occasions and wanted to switch it up and also have a different look. These slip ons are very nice quality with beautiful chrome and a nice rolled and flared tip. Being shorter and a smaller diameter than the stock muffler they look sharper and in my opinion very muscular on the bike. The sound is amazing! At idle they are deep but not obnoxious, even under moderate load they sound authoritative but not annoying. When you get on the throttle though they make the bike sound like a roaring pack of Tyrannosaurus Rexs! Great sound without any bad feedback and on long trips they do not make my ears ring. On top of all this the price is unbeatable for such a great quality product. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants a very pleasant deep rumble from their M8 Softail and doesnt want to break the bank. Installation was a breeze and took all of 30 minutes.

When I was looking for slip ons for my 2019 Softail slim, I was looking to buy something that would be loud enough to be heard but wouldnt cost $500 to do so. These were exactly what I wanted. A huge step up from stock exhaust, loud rumble as you go down the road but not deafening. The looks is sleek and fit perfect on my bike. So happy and would recommend to anyone looking.

Happy with this. Sounds good, easy to install, shorter than the OEM so it looks better. Some things I learned:<br /><br />- DO NOT re-use the OEM mount bolts. They are too long for this muffler. Use the ones that come with it. Follow the instructions! (-1 for this.)<br /><br />- You need 2 new gasket mufflers. HD part # 65900017. $30 total. Do not re-use the old gaskets. <br /><br />- Rotate the lower muffler to get the bracket away from the mount plate so you can slide it off. <br /><br />- Put a rag over the swingarm when removing the top muffler so you don't scratch it. Use a high-quality ball-end hex key on the top bolts. No need to remove the whole muffler bracket.<br /><br />- Wipe all your fingerprints off like a felon before firing it up. Use isopropyl alcohol. Lots of it. It's cheap.<br /><br />- You will smell the "new parts" oil burning off when you first use it. That's normal. It goes away in just a few miles.<br /><br />- This muffler is louder than it sounds on the YouTube videos. 7 / 10 loudness.<br /><br />- No tuning required.
Cobra NH pipes
I had to replace the stock pipes on my Street Bob ASAP. I didnt have the money to get a full system, tuner and breather yet. These really give the bike a better look than the stock mufflers, they have the appearance of straight pipe. They sound a lot better than stock, their name would imply that they are extremely loud but that isnt the case. They are louder than stock and give a nice deep Rome but they arent obnoxiously loud. Overall great value for the price.

I was hesitant about installing slip-ons over a full system, but the ease of install and the impressive sound, I am blown away. My bike instantly increased in power and performance and took my stock bike to the next level. Very impressed with Cobra and their products. These pipes exceeded my expectations by far!
Does not come with replacement gaskets
Cobra makes a solid product but make sure you order new slip on gaskets separately! You cannot install without them and they are not included in the package!

I installed on a 2018 FXBRS (114 Breakout). It transformed a cool bike to a bad ass bike. The new bikes leave the lot with that choked up sewing machine sound to them due to regulations. This pipe gave it that traditional Harley sound without being totally obnoxious. Super easy to install, however, make sure you buy muffler intake gaskets before installation (save some last minute scramble).
Cobra NH Slip Ons 23 FXST
I put a set of Cobra NH slip on mufflers on my 23 FXST. <br />I wanted the bike to sound like a Harley. They are not so loud as to wake up the neighbors, but especially when accelerating they have that great Harley sound. <br /><br />I'm a novice as far as working on the bike goes, but did the swap in 6 days and 15 minutes. <br /><br />6 days? <br /><br />Yes. That's because I asked the person that took my order if I needed anything else to install them. He replied that "everything I need is in the box.*<br />But when I received them, there were no gaskets. I had to wait 6 days for them to arrive.
Cobra- Neighbor haters
I love them. They were easy to put on. Be reminded that you need the inserts for the mufflers because the stock ones will break if you try to reuse. No heat shields needed.

Like, but they are a little quiet compared to the V&H twin slash. However, all around good solid 4 star rating. Make sure you buy the compression o-ring. Harley sells for next to nothing. I have on 2021 Street Bob.

Great quality! Perfectly matched the color and texture of the sock heat shields on my 18 Street Bob. Clear instructions, easy install. I Installed these with a stock air cleaner and tune. I had some deacceration popping, but it was not bad. I added a Screeming Eagle air cleaner along with their tuner and most of that cleared up. Still get an occasional pop, however these things sound great!
They are great. Sound great. My motorcycle now sounds like a Harley not a Honda. Loving them and highly reconnend!
Worth the money
Adding these slip-on mufflers to my new bike really impressed me on the over sound over the stock mufflers. I am very pleased with nice rumble that it added to the bike sitting idle or cruising down the back roads, not too loud but just the right tone, like a Harley Davidson should sound and for the right price. They were fairly easy to install. the only thing you need to remember if you are working on the 2023 street bob 114 is that you have to loosen the right-side rear peg mount to so that you can slightly turn the pipes to get all the bolts out of the top tube and make sure you order the gaskets prior to removal and installation of the new pipes.
Black finish looks good. Don't forget to order seals.
-1 star because nowhere in the description or fitment does it mention you need to replace the non-reusable Harley exhaust seals. Would have ordered them at the same time, now I'm waiting for another delivery. Never had to deal with this on older Harleys.<br /><br />Otherwise the finish looks great, matches the black heat shields on the 2018 FXBB really well. Can't speak to sound or performance at this time.

This requires part number 65900017 to install.<br /><br />Only do the physical instructions indicate the specific part required. I couldn't find it anywhere on the site.<br /><br />I wish I could review how it sounds, but waiting on this part adds a week to finish the install.

Exact sound I was looking for!
Videos do not do these pipes justice. They completely change the sound of this bike. It's exactly what I was looking for to pass the time until after the bikes warranty is up. If you want to be heard and get that notorious Harley rumble look no further. Fit and finish are great, just don't forget to get a set of gaskets. I wasn't in love with design of these pipes versus the slash cut look but now that I've seen them in person they look really nice. Great bang for the buck!

A must have for your breakout
Pipes were easy to slip on. Have a great deep sound, not too loud-just right. Look good. Only negative was the gaskets I ordered did not fit. Otherwise very pleased, and bike runs smooth without any tuning.
They were easy to install and they sound great. In my opinion they should be the stock muffler on all Harleys. I just think the gaskets should come with them

Uh, badass.
Sound soooo good but are fairly mild at idle. Cold start they pop pretty good but calm down quickly allowing you to sneak out of the neighborhood without pissing off too many neighbors at 6 am. Engine braking is now my favorite part of riding just to hear these things gurgle. Love em.
Slip Ons are well made, sound great and easy to install. My only complaint; they did not come with exhaust gaskets and had no mention of additional purchase necessary. Very frustrating. This is my third bike I’ve ran Cobra brand and have no complaints.

Just got and installed today now my Harley 2024 soft tail standard sounds like a Harley and you will need to order gaskets i got lucky with only 650 miles on mine i used the ones that were on the bike with no issue so far but will get a set just in case. So if you want that Harley sound at a good price cant beat these pipes.

Highly recommend to those looking to drastically change the sound of your ride, without breaking the bank. Super easy install! (Don't forget to buy new gaskets). Sound has a deep rumble at idle and really wakes up at higher RPMs. Overall great product for the price!

Nice low rumble look good on the bike. They come in a set of two match real well with the exhaust headers.
Solid purchase
Great product. Well made, sound great and my neighbors hate them. Going from a set of V&H the sound is very different. These have a much more low bass tone to them. They really rumble on acceleration but are fairly tame on idle.

Sound better than the Rineharts I had in the bike before but still a bit too quiet still. But do have a deeper more ominous sound. I'd give them a 9.9 out of 10.

They definitely look and sound better than the stock mufflers. They're not going to beat a full exhaust system, but I think they're a great compromise. Alot of the reviews say you need gaskets, so I ordered some, but I don't think I got the right ones. But I made it work.

Easy-peasy lemon squeezey! Had stock off and new ones on in 10-15 minutes. Sound deeper and louder than stock but are not offensive to my neighbors. Funny they're called neighbor haters. ALSO. I don't mind but they are about 5 inches shorter than my stocks. Picture did not reflect that. Look nice.

Installed on ‘20 Street Bob, install wasn’t too bad, had to get creative on top exhaust bolts. Ordered chrome thinking I could use my stock heat shield but quickly realized it wouldn’t work. Ordered the black ones and man do these pipes sound incredible. It woke the bike up and now sounds like a Harley should sound.
