Compact, Lightweight Travel Cover
I wanted a compact travel cover for my R1200GS with Jesse 10" Odyssey side panniers. Something to keep eyes off it when parked overnight at motels, as well as morning dew, sunshine, birdsh*t, surveillance drones, etc. I got a size large, which fits my bike very well. It does not cover all the way over my wheels - just about halfway, which is perfect as far as I'm concerned. I keep the cover in a small compression sack that takes up very little space in my pannier. It is quick and easy to get it on and off, with the exception of the elastic bottom straps. First time, I had to get on my back to pull them through and hook them like you are supposed to do. I will make a hook tool with a piece of dowel and a screw hook to snag the straps with before the next use. The fabric and build quality seems good for an ultralight product, and I suspect that barring a violent wind storm this cover will travel far and last me a good while. For added water repellence, I imagine that a Nikwax or similar waterproofing product would work well.
Dowco Delivers
I got this cover for my 2009 Ninja 250R (size medium) a month ago since I don't have a garage. It's held up very well and covers all of the bike. The pull strap comes in handy on windy days. A breeze to put on and take off. I'll use this year round, even when I put the bike in storage during the winter.

I'll admit, every time I remove the cover it feels like I'm unwrapping a Christmas present!
Great light weight cover
This cover is the perfect size to protect my 2016 BMW R1200GSA with the aluminum cases installed. It is like a custom fit. The cover is easy to install if you mark the front and the back with a marker to help you find the correct position. I bought the XL size. Highly recommended.
Great Product, Size Issue
The cover is excellent quality, and it packs up very nicely. I'm impressed, and so far its worked flawlessly in light drizzle conditions. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the size. Per the fit guide, I ordered the Adventure Touring size for use on my R1200GSA with aluminum panniers and top box. The front covers halfway down the front wheel, but the rear only wraps around the panniers. It does not go all the way down the rear wheel as shown in the photos. This is no big deal - It completely covers all major components. But it falls a little short of full rear wheel coverage as described.
Nice and light - easy to use and fit.
This cover has worked well in snow, rain and wind. It's easy to cover and remove from my motorcycle. I like the color too.
Good cheap cover
As someone who lives in an apartment building I don't have the luxury of having a garage of my own and thus, getting a cover was the only way I could give my bike some way of being separated from the elements. This cover has done a great job so far. I've been using it regularly for about three months and there are no signs of wear with frequent use taking it on and off the bike. Also, I think the cover gives the bike less of a chance of being vandalized because a covered bike is much less alluring than a freshly polished one.

All in all, I would recommend this cover; however, if you have the money to spend on a heat shielded cover that will allow you to cover up quickly before the rain, it may be a good decision--especailly if the cover is filling the void of not having a garage.
Received my order fast and it fits my bike perfectly. No worries about the weather. Glad I purchased this one.
well made light weight
I bought a size large to cover my BMW RT while in the garage. It fits very well, is pretty easy to use and seems to be well made.
Adv Touring Size
The Adventure Touring size fit my 2019 BMW R1250GS Adventure quite well. That's including side cases by the way. Not too tight, but not too loose either. The bottom hem covers most of both tires. Packs down nice and small, and it's also pretty light in weight. Perfect for motorcycle camping or touring. The price is right too.
Light weight small size cover with good features.
This fits my 2015 BMW K1600GT even with small tail bag like a glove with the (large) size ordered. It covers the side boxes too and mirrors dont need to be folded in. There is a soft liner over the wind screeen area. It comes with a compression bag making storage space minimal. It is built with rip stop nylon like a modern tent with a coating on the inside. I put it on the bike and sprayed it with waterproofing spray for fabrics and double covered the seams to hopefully increase repellancy.
Fitment of Dowco Guardian Ultralight Plus on BMW R 1250 GS
I wasn't sure which size to purchase for my BMW 1250 GS. I went with the size Large. The bike has the GSA windshield on it (so larger than stock for the HP model). Also, the bike has the Vario saddlebags on it but no rear top box. In this configuration, the size Large Ultralight Plus cover fits very well. However, I would go with the size Extra Large if my bike had a top box on it. Overall, great product.Write your review here. It must be at least 25 characters long. Consider whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.
Not as photo shows but fits Super Tenere great
The AT version fits the Super Tenere, with or without panniers, like a glove. Seems good quality. I love the ventilation, I've had issues with condensation on others, I hope this makes the difference. I also love that it came with a compression sack.

The reason I dinged it a couple stars is because it does not look like the photo or as described in a few ways. The photo above and on the box has a skirt on the bottom side that looks metallic, indicating extra heat resistance. The cover does not have this skirt, it's all the same material.

There is only one vent flap. It's good, but only one. It has a nice retro-reflective strip of tape above it, so actually that's an improvement over the photo.

There is no sew-in storage bag. I don't need it, but if you did, you ain't getting it.

The strap for under the bike is also not in the same place as the photo. I actually like it better than the one in the photo, but it's fair to mention, you are NOT getting exactly what is pictured. It's still a good quality and lite cover that packs down fairly small.
Exactly what it is billed as.
Nice lightweight cover that packs down as small as you could hope.

Took this on a 3700+ miles nine-day trip out west. Bought the large for my R1200GS and without the top box it covered just about everything, all the way down to the ground. Prying eyes had no idea what kind of bike it was.

Sprayed it with Nikwax before the trip and that seemed to help keep the bike dry. Water would bead up on the cover but the bike stayed dry.

You can buy a better, heavier, cover, and I would if I was going to store the bike outside full time. But this worked great for traveling and will make a nice dust cover for in the garage.
Nice cover - not waterproof
Got this baby using Zilla Cash!
I was taking a trip from Michigan down to Tennessee to visit my buddy and ride the Dragon. My bike is always in my garage, but he doesn't have one. So, I needed a lightweight, waterproof cover for the trip. This one fit the bill.
First night there I covered the bike. The evening was chilly, and in the morning, there was dew on the cover. Wherever the cover touched the bike (top case, side bags, etc) the bike was wet. The seat was dry, as the cover stretched across that area, but the cover collected dew and transferred it to the bike.
So, nice cover, keeps bird poop and debris off the bike, but is NOT waterproof. Unfortunately, to be waterproof you are going to have to put up with a heavier cover.
It fits well, easy to put on, and as other reviews have mentioned, the compression bag that comes with the cover fits the entire thing into a very small space when you aren't using it.
breaks down in the sun
I like the cover, it's lightweight, easy to put on, stays put in the weather, covers my V-Strom DL-650 with hard panniers. But it only lasts about twelve months in the sun. After that the UV breaks down the fabric to the point it comes like tissue paper and if you so much as breathe on it it tears. Mine is as much duct tape as fabric now, 14 months after I bought it.
leaks like a sieve
This cover matches it's basic description for fit and finish. I have no problem using this to cover my GS1200 with bags. It is a med. to lightweight cover and rolls up into a small package for storage. It does a great job protecting the bike from harsh sunlight.
What it does not do is even begin to keep the bike dry in heavy dew or any kind of rain. The water resistant nylon actually seems to attract and allow water to pass through leaving the seat, tank and bags soaked after a night of heavy dew or any kind of rain.
Going to have to try spraying this with a waterproofer to help the situation
decent travel or in the garage cover
liked this because of the light weight and small size when packed. Have purchased the L and XL last year, and they both had the sewn in zippered pouch to stuff the cover in.... on a larger adventure bike (explorer) with side panniers and a top case, the XL cover only gets down to about halfway down the tire... with no topcase, and side cases, will get down most of the way on the tire. On a smaller bike (tiger 800) with bags, aboug the same thing. If you cover the bike without bags, the XL is probably a bit large.

The material is a VERY light ripstop nylon. It is uncoated. It will not have any water protection... mostly just UV and the casual passerby, if you are on a long trip and wanna keep the casual person from sitting on your bike or doing things to it.... overnight, its nice because there is no dew or moisture on things in some climates.

I mainly use these in the garage to keep outside people from seeing what I have - street facing garage. For long term outside storage, you'd want something more sturdy. You might be able to get these a bit more water resistant and UV resistant with something like 303 protectant, but I have not tried.

NOTE: the one I bought in 2016 had the pouch built in, and the L and XL had the same size, so the L was easy to stuff in but the XL was a pain.... bought one this month (may 2017) - there is no pouch, instead a separate stuff/compression sack. MUCH better option... and it's the same lightweight material.

So - if you need a dust / privacy cover for garage use or some trip use, it's a good option. Not gonna be a good option for long term outdoor storage. Newer stuff / compression sack is a bonus.

Oh, and the colors on the new ones are a light to medium gray where the ones from last year were closer to an olive drab.
Perfect for my needs!
Nice snug fit for my 2016 Yamaha R1. I really like the elastic bottom! No need for tie downs. I?m an everyday rider and I cover my bike everyday while I?m at work. We?ll see how it holds up to the Florida sun. So far so good. Keeps it pretty dry not completely but good enough and we?ve had some pretty heavy rain. It folds up small and even has a bag to put it in. ( Not that I use it but it?s nice that it?s there) No problem with the exhaust either.
I would buy another, especially at this price point.
Hope this helps you with your decision.
Ride to live
Looks ugly, but thats exactly what you want
I use this mostly when im at work to keep the weather off the bike. But it also keeps thieves away. Its a big grey blob now instead of a nice new motorcycle. So it attracts less attention.there has been theft in the parking lot where i keep it in and it hasn't been touched, and most people dont notice there is a bike parked next to the front door of my work.

Ive left it out in some fairly hard rain with the cover on and unfortunately it does let some water through during that time. Which is the only reason im giving it 4 starts instead of 5.
Works like a Charm
This cover is perfect for my needs. I was looking for a cover to use during the riding months to protect the bike from weather and keep it clean. But, also I wanted something to use in the winter when I store the bike in a shed. I did not need a yearound all weather cover.

I had an all weather one before and it was great but this cover is easier to but on than the all weather one, and works just as well for the riding season.

I got the x-large and it's big.. but with the saddle bags, windscreen and sissy bar I like to have the extra room to cover my 2010 Triumph Thunderbird SE. .
Tears too easily, not worth 50 bucks
I bought this for my Ninja 400 when I bought the bike last year. I'm just shy of my one year anniversary with the bike, and it has impressed me and been a joy to ride every day. But when I come home and turn to the Dowco cover to protect it from the Texas sun, bird crap and whatever else, it leaves me disappointed.

The medium size fits the bike well, but its one securing point doesn't do a good job of keeping the rear tire/chain/swing arm protected from the elements. On top of that, the cover ripped about 7 months into use. And once it rips, it's easy as ever to keep on ripping. This is not made of any rip-stop material, and a light tug while removing or securing the cover will tear the fabric even more.

Save your money and spend it on another cover, like I'm about to do.
Light and easy to cover
Very glad I went for LG size for my KTM 690 Duke R. Perfect fit, fully covers my bike.
Excellent value!!
Very light weight (which I prefer) and easily packs away.
I am mostly trying to protect my bike from harmful UV and dust while at work all day. The large size was a great fit for my 2015
Honda F6B (which has a taller Klock Werks shield) and passenger backrest.

Overall a great value!!!!

Jay.......Olathe, Kansas
Excellent lightweight cover for travel
I had the regular Ultralight before, but it blew away in a huge windstorm so I replaced it with the Ultralight Plus (which has a belly strap). Both are great covers, but I think the Plus is worth the very small additional cost, The medium fit my CB500X, but it was pretty snug because I added a much larger windscreen so got the large this time. It's a bit baggy, but so what? It still packs up quite small in the included compression sack.
Good Cover for Road Trips on Versys X 300
I'll give it 4 stars instead of 5, but only because of two very minor things.
One, I simply have not had it long enough to really use it much. So that's nothing against the cover. Time will tell how well it and the included compression sack holds up.
Two, and again, my personal thing, it would be nice to have some color options. While I don't often "stealth camp" there are times when a darker color would work better for me. Probably offset by the times the light color reflects the sun better, so no big deal. But I would probably choose a darker color.
But so far the good far outweighs what I'll call the neutral. The large fits my 2020 Kawa Versys X 300 (with or without the MM R-80 luggage) like it was made for it. It compresses reasonably small into the included compression sack, so I'm more likely to take it along on trips, given my limited space. I think it's a good compromise between packability and durability.
It fell apart.
This only lasted 6 months before starting to rip.
Very lightweight, but still tough and effective.
Bought for my '18 Wee Strom. Kept it dry during a heavy downpour all day. Would definitely buy another if I needed one.
Fits Triumph Tiger 1200 xca 2019
The five stars is for fit, the adventure cover fits my 2019 Triumph Tiger 1200 XCA with panniers and top box, when cover is installed with top box the swing arm is exposed. The cover fits the bike really well, it's light and compactable. This is not a review on durability.
Not perfectly waterproof, but that was discussed in the product description so no complaints there. Perfect travel size and LOVE the compartment it folds up into- gives me the option to clip onto the outside of my backpack if I dont have room to pack it inside.
Sizing for a BMW K1600B
I bought a large for my BMW K1600B. The sizing chart said it would fit a Honda Goldwing. The extra large would fit a Goldwing with trunk box. I opted for a large since my bagger doesn't have a top box. The cover is too narrow for the mirrors, and too short for the length. The height was more than adequate. The sizing chart does not give any dimensions so I can only assume that the difference between a Large and an Extra Large is the height adjustment for the top box.

I am disappointed that I will need to find an alternative. After inspecting the cover, the build quality is excellent. For a packable travel cover, this would be an excellent choice.
Great product
Very intuitive and easy to use. Its a cover. It covers things. Particularly motorcycles. Helps keep an easy of mind that my bike has that much more protection from the elements.
Indoors on a Sportster
I am using this on a Forty-Eight special with a burly brand sissy bar & stock tall boy handlebars. Size Large could not be a more perfect fit. It is for winter storage in the garage and for that purpose I have no concerns.
Great cover
Perfect fit for my 19 Road King Special with 14 apes. Good quality
Best cover IMO.
I ride a Road Glide Ultra and this light weight cover is perfect. Comes with a compression sack. Keeps the rain off my bike at night and doesn't shout out that a tasty "Harley-Davidson is parked here!"
Fit my bike perfectly!
The adventurer size fit over my 2016 KLR 650 perfectly. The cover combined with the roof shelter in front of my shed do a great job keeping the elements out.
Great light duty cover
Size Large fits the Duke 790. Keeps up well in elements. In order to deal with high winds, use of the two plastic O-ring pairs is a must. Small carabiners work there.
Fits on the 2015 Triumph Thunderbird Storm with windscreen and bags. Also fits over the 2013 Tiger Explorer XC with hard luggage bags and windscreen no problem. Has a handy nylon strap with slide/release buckle to tie down beneath the bike.

I once had to leave the Thunderbird on the street with just this cover when the garage was being repaired--this was maybe a week after I got it. Of course it rained like a Bible story and was stupid windy. I stood at the window watching the bike and cover like I was waiting for a lost puppy, but on the next morning, the wheels were wet, pipes were a little damp, but the seat, windscreen, handlebars were dry as toast. Well done, Dowco cover, well done.
Good cover, Medium fits Sportster 72 nicely
Reasonably impressed. This was just for keeping the dust and other garage grundge off of her, and it looks like it'll do that just fine. The Medium was nice fit for the Sporster Seventy-Two, not too snug, not too loose. Nice quality it seems. Made in China, like lotsa things, but no complaints.
Was great while it lasted, but...
Went with a MD size for my Ninja 250R. Fit was great, and overall protection was good from the rain and sun. After a few months, I had a minor injury and had to take a break from riding for a while. The bike sat with this cover for about 3 months.

During that time, the cover started tearing and ripping near the rear brake light and the rear view mirrors. The tears increased over time, and now is completely shredded. Again, this didn't happen from taking it on and off a bunch - but just from sitting. I'm guessing the material breaks down from UV rays or something.

It was a nice lightweight cover while it lasted, but it didn't last longer than 5 months. Due to this, I can't recommend it as anything more than a dust cover.

I'm now In the process of a warranty claim, and Dowco charges $10 handling fee for RMA's. :|
This worked very well!
I used this on my cross country trip and it kept my bike clean and dry. It folded up small enough to fit easily in my saddle bag. I'll bring this on all my overnight trips.
Great Cover
Bought this for my BMW R1200RT and I love it. It fits perfectly and is easy to put on the bike. It appears to be well made and sheds rain perfectly. Super product
Improved over previous version
I use this cover for travelling. It fits my BMW R1150R with sidecases, a small topcase, and a touring windshield with room to spare. I used an earlier version for several years. This one was a replacement. The new cover has a couple of worthwhile improvements, especially the security strap, which makes the cover easier to use and more secure on the bike. It also seems to be more water repellent, but that could just be because it's new.
Recommended light duty cover.
Nice light duty cover for a fair price. Adventure size fit 2022 KLR with top case and hard panniers.
Dowco Guardian Ultralite Plus Motorcycle Cover
Covers my R1250GS with full set of Vario panniers fully expanded. Just what I needed
not heavy enough
retuned for a heavier more durable cover.
excellent garage cover
Great cover. It is lightweight and best used for indoor or occasional overnight outside. Materials are quality and the cover fits easily and stays in place without using the belly strap which is not needed in the garage.
Great cover
Really like this cover. It is light and water resistant. Also has held up well so far. Fits my SV650 well.
Extremely satisfied with product
I am extremely happy with my purchase. I wanted an affordable extremely light cover for road trips. Initially it was difficult to separate the material and open up the cover I had to carefully peel the material apart. The more Ive used it the better and easier it is to open. It covers my 2015 FJR 1300 nicely even with the side cases and additional top case. it comes with a centre strap and a sweet storage bag which compresses down to save space. The water beads off the cover and protects the bike well. I would recommend this product and would not hesitate to purchase again. Shipping was extremely fast.
GREAT PROTECTION
Great protection over dust and rain.
I use in F800R, F700GS and R1200GS.
Dowco Guardian Ultralite Plus Motorcycle Cover
No complaints after a couple of seasons, seems to be well built
Good for the money
Great cover for light weather. Have owned it for a little over a month, and I like how well it protects the bike from the sun and the ocean moisture. Leather seems to be doing well so far, and I have not noticed any damage caused by sun or salt water. My previous seats frayed and faded quickly in these conditions. The material seems to be able to prevent rain from going inside if you manage to keep tension on the cover.

Comes with a handy carrier for compressed storage.
Light weight but very effective
Its very light weight but its just what I needed for my bike to keep it covered in the garage. My other Delco bike cover was a lot thicker but it lasted almost 20 years so thats why I bought another Delco cover
Fits on a Suzuki C50T with Windshield
I purchased this cover in Large size and, as the title suggests, it fits comfortably on my bike. The material seems reasonably sturdy, though I'm not sure I would count on it for long-term outdoor protection. Also, it's not the most stylish cover if you're looking for that sort of thing.

All in all, great bang for the buck and gets the job done. I would strongly recommend it for any midsize cruiser.
Great fit
This cover fits my bike great! 600 Radian with a small windshield and saddle bags. I bought it because it is NOT black and use it to keep the sun off of my bike when it's not in the garage. The black ones act like an oven. Stays on with 40 MPH spring time winds of the Rocky Mountain front range and I didn't need to connect the strap in the front !
I am replacing DOWCO purchased 20 years ago.
Size medium is to small for 2014 VFR800
Had to return, so havent had a chance to use yet. Its made lightweight but looked quality. Guessing I should have ordered a size large.
Excellent for light use
Size large fits a Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE perfectly.
Super Solid Cover
Bought a medium for my '16 CB500F, fits really well. Been using it for the last week inside a garage, and seems to be a nice cover. Definitely not for super tough weather, but would definitely hold up just fine to some rain. The "compression" bag it comes with is a nice touch, allowing you to really condense the cover for carry.
Nice cover
It's the 1st cover I've owned that actually fits back in it's storage bag. Has some straps to help you compress the package. I had to debur the strap buckles a little. I made short work of that with a pocket knife. I only use this when traveling so I cannot attest to it's durability yet.
Quality Product/Great Fit
I've had Dowco heavy duty covers before and like them well enough. They held up well enough but are bulky and relatively expensive. As I only use them during the day at work to keep the sun off and am not worried about being water proof I started using dust covers (quite) a few years ago. I've been reasonably happy with an inexpensive house brand but they went to a cheap fabric material that only lasted 6 months or so I went shopping. I've only had the cover a couple of weeks so can't attest to durability but it appears to be a quality product. The material look like rip stop nylon - light but tough. It has vents and soft material to protect the windshield. The fitment guide was spot on. The large fits my FJR1300 perfectly and looks to be big enough to accommodate a med size top box. One interesting thing is it appears to be hotter under the cover than the previous cover I was using. When I start the bike after sitting all day in 90F+ temps the outside are temp gauge reads about 10F hotter that before.
Exactly what I was looking for, lightweight, easily foldable and storable in the sidecompartmen on my Wing.
Good value and compact enough for my needs. Was using an older Dowco heavy duty cover that needed replacement. This fit my needs well.
Good cover, recommend
I bought this cover because this one has a lot of positive reviews from other owners. This is my first cover, it almost easy to install, but elastic cord on the bottom always catching turn signals so you can not quickly install/uninstall it. Also I am not trying to use cover outdoor yet and cannot say nothing about durability.

I use size Medium and it is excellent fit my Honda CBR650F.
Perfect fit, nice light weight
I ordered the size M for my Honda cbr500r and it fits perfectly. It's easy to install and yet it doesn't leave any slack areas to puddle rain. It completely covers the front wheel, the two "ears" are exactly the width of the stock mirrors in the riding position, and it covers about halfway down on the rear tire. It doesn't touch the ground anywhere. NIce and light weight but well-constructed and well-finished. I've used it several times but have not tried it in the rain (yet). Excellent product.
This produce is small and lightweight
I purchased this as a rain cover for when traveling, and it had to be small and compact. I bought a small compression sack, which compressed it down to the size of a softball. I've only used it twice, but so far it has certainly met my expectations, and it looks clean and well made. At first, it was hard to determine which way was forward, but then I saw a sewn in label that indicated "Front", so now it only take me 30 seconds to install the cover once I find the label. This fit my BMW F800GSA with room to spare, and it fits my FJR as well.
works, if you don't care about water coming through
Bought last year, finally used it this year, it is not waterproof and it doesn't claim to be but even out overnight with heavy dew and wherever the cover makes contact with the bike water comes through significantly. I also noticed that the shell's water-resistant layer in the area of the stuff pouch is peeling . Otherwise it feels durable. So it depends on why you want this--as a cover, it's a good one and as a water repeller it's so-so. Bought the adventure size but it's not big enough for my R1200GS with tail and side bags on.
Great fit for my '06 ZX636
I just purchased this item. and though it has not yet been tested in any extreme weather, it fits great, was easy to put on, and seems to do its job perfectly well. Great lightweight item.
Great bang for your buck
Fantastic cover for fantastic price. I got this for my 2008 Suzuki SV650. If you are uncertain about size check out the product website! It tells you exactly for which model motorcycle you should get. My cover fits perfectly (medium) on a fully stock SV650 with some serious frame sliders. Have been covering it from rain and has kept it perfectly dry.
The one thing that could be better would be the rope to tie it down. Very simply loop system (like for a helmet).

Durability unsure of because I have so far used it only for a month. Will update/comment if any problems develop over time.

Be aware that this is a cover that you cannot put on the bike when its hot. Definitely needs to cool down if you want to avoid the cover melting.
Ripstop makes all the difference
Bought this to replace the non-rips top version. Wanted a light weight full cover for general protection here in southern California. We don't get extreme weather, but do get extreme heat, sun and UV. This cover stores easily in its small pocket, but unfolds to cover my farkled vstrom perfectly. The strong elasticized bottom keeps it tight when installed. Light weight, convenient protection (sounds like an ad for another type of product..... :-) ) Exactly what I needed .
Works great especially in a garage!
2024 African Twin ES DCT
2024 African Twin ES DCT - Fitment is 2 out of 5 (5 being highest) with aluminum top box & side panniers. Would I buy it again - prob not, all of these are universal covers.
Not sure why the Mfg can't seem to make a lightweight cover that's bike specific.
Muy bueno
los materiales son de lo mejor y protejen las partes plasticas tambien
Dowco Guardian Ultralite Cover
This cover is well made, very light and compact. Easily stored in my saddlebag. Large size fit my 2024 Street Glide perfectly.
Great Cover - Great Price !
It's an Awesome cover ! Worth every Dollar !
Fits great!
Bought the size MD for my ninja 400 and it fits perfectly.
Easy On Easy Off
Dowco Ultralight + exactly as advertised much more lightweight compared to the Dowco Weather sumthin or another forgot the name ? but it was very heavy duty effective just unnecessary in my bike's parking storage situation.
Dowco Guardian Ultralite Plus
Nice light weight cover. Fits 2024 Indian Pursuit, with a little room to spare. Will use mostly for traveling cover and storage dust cover. Appears to be constructed fairly wel.
Great Cover
Light weight, packs small, good quality, great for road trips.
Good cover, compact size
Fit my 2023 Road Glide (FLTRX) nicely.
Old bike new rider
Got the ADV fits perfectly around my Triumph Tiger 800. Light weight and packs down nicely. The elastic around the bottom is what makes this worth every dollar
Lasted Two Seasons
Pretty good cover. Fit the KTM ADV390 with luggage, includes a strap and a lock grommet. Lost waterproofing after 6 months of exposure to UV, and tore in the wind after 2 years. This is for a bike that is kept covered and garaged 6 months of the year. I think it would only last 12 months outdoors.
Doesn't last outside.
Will only last one summer if you live anywhere that gets decent wind. Had a few dowcos and they don't last. Bought a Bilt cover for 25 bucks less that lasted just as long. Live in upstate NY were we get a lot of wind and rain. These covers can't handle it.
Really good product
Great cover, i have a BMW GS 750 and i park my motorcycle outdoors and works wonderful. Also is very easy to install and you can cover with a center bike luggage box.
To baggy
I was advised to buy the Guardian XL Moto Cover for my 2004 Honda ST1300. The XL is to baggy so I think a size L would have been a better fit.
A cover
It is a cover. Doesn't let ALL the water in, but it will let some. It tore after a year due to how tight it was on my Honda Shadow, but during that year it served me well enough.
Dowco Guardian Ultralite Plus Motorcycle Cover
Great affordable motorcycle cover.
Seams Deteriorating after 2 years in Southern California
I was very happy with this cover until the seam seals
started to disintegrate, peeling off the interior and leaving a white powdery dust on my motorcycle every time I take it off. No harsh winters - Just sunny Los Angeles weather. Yes, exposed to the elements year round but didn't make it to the three year warranty. Let's see how Dowco handles it. Cannot recommend this product.
cover
Nice light cover that fits my 2018 R1200GS and packs small
Best lightweight cover
Great cover and the light color reflects heat
Dowco Guardian Ultralite Plus Motorcycle Cover
Kind of flimsy and tearable but I guess it protects from the elements so it gets the job done. I was expecting something higher quality feeling.
Good cover
Great lightweight cover. We'll see how it holds up to the test of time. Fits with the OEM windshield, top case and saddlebags but it is a little tight. Without the top case and saddle bags it covers everything. Would buy again but maybe in a larger size.
I absolutely love it thank you very much
Works for me!
Fits my 2022 BMW F 850 GSA well enough (Large). Although I have not tried with my soft panniers, there seems to be enough excess material when I tried on my MC that it should cover the panniers as well. Material and quality of product seems very good. It does not go down as far over the tires as is shown in photo. Maybe you want XL if you need that. But I keep MC in garage and this cover is for overnight trip where I would cover to keep seat, instruments, panniers out of rain overnight before riding next morning. And fair price. I give 4 stars simply because I?ve not used in the rain yet.
A best buy
Bang for buck here for sure. Sizing info exact.
Ultra light and portable. Well designed and constructed
Cover is exactly what I was looking for. Ultra light and portable. Seems to be well constructed. I won?t be using it everyday as the bike is garage kept so really use will be on days at work where rain is forecast and longer periods of storage like middle of winter. I also will bring it on overnight, multiple day rides to keep the elements out. Fits in my backpack perfectly. Fitment is perfect as well on my 2021 Yamaha mt09. (Size medium) Even with the puig sport windscreen and CRG arrow bar end mirrors. The mirrors do have to be flipped up or in to really fit properly depending on how they are setup on the bike. I can?t speak on how it holds up but can say that as a daily cover I would most likely go with a more heavy duty cover like the dowco gaurdian weatherall plus. This ultra light cover is more for road-trips and occasional outdoor/indoor storage like stated above. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lightweight cover.
Fits my R1250RT great, very happy!
Great Buy
Have only had this cover for a month but so far it's great; exactly what I was looking for. Got the Large and it fits my maxiscooter perfectly. Very easy to put on and remove.
Cover
Fits good. Easy to put on and take off
Great
Got one for my Yamaha R3. Fits perfect. Nice and snug so wind doesn?t really bother it, but it also has some built in reinforced holes to tie it down.
Excellent LW Cover
Just a nice, lightweight cover to keep the sun and dew off the bike. I've had one before, it held up to several years of hard use before the seams lost their stitches. Folds easily to go into my saddlebag for use at work or on a trip. Would buy again the third time when it's needed. Just wish it had a drawstring for the opening hem. Strong winds can blow it off the bike.
New Dowco cover
Fits just has expected! Looks good and packs tight.
Travel cover and garage storage
I wanted a lightweight cover, that would foldup fairly small for transport on trips. It came with only 1 strap but eyelets for additional cords to secure it. IThe XL fits my Suzuki Burgman 650 with tall windshield, top case and saddle bags. I wouldn't expect to use this outside for long term storage, but it is good for storage or overnight protection on trips.
Light-weight but Strong
I needed an indoor cover to keep the dust off my ride. This fills the bill quite nicely. Very light-weight material, but strong, and the elastic bottom keeps it secure. Easy to recommend.
The sizing guide for a Shadow750 called for medium. I ordered Large, a hair too big but I think the medium would have been too tight.
Good summer protection
Works great for my needs. Doesn't look to be very water proof but I didn't need that, more interested in the UV protection. Light, easily packable and the windscreen protection is a plus!
Ok but very baggy.
Very nice cover , looks good and should last .l don't know if an XXL is the best way to go on my mid size cruiser.
Fits my 2012 Ducati Diavel nicely. Easy to put on.
Easy and fast
Easy to deploy as it flies like a kite , side vent water proof and one side tie makes for a good daily cover, rain or shine
Motorcycle cover good
Great product I love it I can take it anywhere and he works for me blacks the sun helps with the rain a little not too bad it?s great
Great travel cover!
Great for travel - stuff sack fits perfectly in my saddlebag. Thick enough to protect my bike, but not too heavy.
Good Cover
Good cover. Does what it is supposed to do. I have a BMW R1200 GSA. Aluminum paniers on the sides + the Givi 58 LTR Alum top box. With the top box on, the cover is a little to small. With it off, it's great.
Solid
I've had this cover for a few months as of this review. Fits my Sportster just fine with extended mirrirs. That's with standard bars and not mini apes or drag bars. My short shots are exposed. Would've been perfect if the tail pulled down just a little further. UV protection seems to be working because my bike's paint isn't fading!
Super lightweight but durable cover
Great cover, super lightweight but still very durable and breathable. The included compression bag is an awesome feature.

Only cons: The D-ring strap came apart after a week but it was simple fix to re-sew it back together
Priced Right
Very good investment for price. Keep bike dry in heavy rain
Dowco Guardian Ultralite Plus
fits perfect, smooth as silk, and easy to cover, love it, LUV it
Does the job very well?
The Dowco Guardian Ultralite Plus Motorcycle Cover does the job very well. It fits my 2021 F850GS very well, including the paniers.
The fabrics is lights yet strong enough. Plus, I like the clip underneath to secure the cover.
Seems good so far but lets see how long it lasts and how durable it is. You should wait a year before doing feedback.
Good buy
Since moving Lightning has been stored outside with this cover on. The cut & size is perfect. Very waterproof yet breathable.
Really nice cover for the price. Don't know how it will do in rain, but great for sun and dust protection. The under strap also help keep in in place during high winds. Large fit's by F650GS with small top case very well. I considered getting a medium and glad I did not.
Great cover...Great price
I ride a 2006 Honda Shadow Aero 750 with a small sissy bar on back. I ordered the XL size of this cover. It fits great with material to spare. I love the tie strap and elastic all around as well as the thick rainproof material. Its already been rained on pretty heavily and has held out the rain. Great cover for a great price. Would HIGHLY recommend!!
This product works fine for the money
Great cover for the cost
I haven't had any issues with these covers. I cover both of my bikes with these. They keep the dust and bird poo off. They are light weight and easy to out on.
Great cover
Great cover for my Honda Rebal 500. Only issue is I ordered a medium size and its a little tight. Not so easy putting on and talking off. Otherwise great cover.
Nice cover!
Perfect fit for an African Twin!
Protects my motorcycle
Overall it is complete product, easy to use, and easy to fold up .
Fits Honda GL500 with windscreen
This is a lightweight packable cover for storing your bike indoors and to take along on a trip. For long-term storage outdoors, get a heavier duty cover -- this one won't stand up to wind, weather, and sun in the long haul.

I put this on a 1981 Honda GL500 with an aftermarket windscreen. (My bike is not the Interstate model with the full fairing). I got the Large size due to the windshield, because I got the impression the Medium isn't sized for a windscreen/fairing. If my bike had a small or no windscreen, I think the Medium would fit better.
Best money can buy
This cover for the price $40 is the best you can buy for that much. I have a Honda F6B and a HD ultra and this fits both without and issue. The inner liner is soft so it doesnt scratch the paint especially if parked outside. The ddoksop
Fits snug on Kawasaki Ninja
Straightforward and fits perfectly on my 2014 Ninja. For the price, I am fine with the strap feature.
Good fit for the Harley
Fits perfectly on a 2012 Harley Davidson FLD Dyna Switchback with a windscreen and backrest. Might be a little too low hanging and loose without the windscreen. Great cover for the price.
Decent Cover
Love the cover, does its job and fits good. I have a Vulcan 2000 with a tall windshield and 14 mini apes and the cover fits over that. Only complaint I would say I have is the strap to go under the motorcycle could be longer.
Great protection for my bike
The cover fits well. Seems well made and was reasonably priced. Whats not to like.
Looks like a good cover for the price.
Have not used the cover yet to know how good protection it wil provide. Looks well made and fits my Vstar 1300 Tourer fine.
Upgrade my cover
Love this cover and the soft interior windshield protection. The bottom pulls tight. Just a great bang for my buck. Highly recommend
Nice cover but hard to orient correctly
It may just take some use to figure it out, but it is difficult to find the correct orientation to put the cover on. Once on, it is great and of nice quality.
Excellent material and final product. It fits my Indian Chief Vintage perfect. Thank you!
Perfect light weight cover for overnight trips.
This covers my V Strom DL650 with panniers perfectly. Fully covers the wheels and still packs into a small sack.
Real nice indoor cover
Perfect fit for 92 Heritage Softail
Great light weight cover for travel.
I use this when I travel. It's light enough to throw over the bike and keep the elements off. I use the heavier one for stow.
Great basic lightweight cover
Would highly recommend this product for the price. Great for inside and trips. Very comparable fabric to most light weight tents.
Light weight, Love IT.
Good price, light weight, love it, got for my Silver Wing Scooter for when I travel overnight.
Too Light
Too light duty....spend the extra dough for the heavier one.
Excellent Lightweight Cover
Bought this for my 2014 Ninja 300; fits perfectly. Love the stuff-sack for portability. Only flaw is that the plastic grommets started falling off on first use. Though I'm gentle with the cover, the grommets just popped off. Doesn't effect the usability though. Would still buy again.
Great cover
Great cover. True to size. Fits snug, and will not blow away or turn into a sail in high wind. Breathes well when bike is hot, nothing on it has melted yet.
Just a great product. I just wish would last more than a year before the sun start to shred it apart.
Best for dry areas
This is a good, lightweight cover for the price. It will let some water through the seams if they are on the horizontal (it gets my saddle bags wet in heavy rains). Most of the bike stays dry. If you are concerned about keeping the bikes absolutely dry look for a cover with taped seams.
Great product
Definitely recomend this cover. It comes with a nice compression bag and is great as a travel civer fir my bike.
Nice cover for price!
I only use as a dust cover in my garage so can not say how it will hold up to elements. Nice cover though.
Great cover for a great price
I use this cover mostly for a dust cover in my garage, but will also use when out on a ride. The fit is good and cover is easy to use. Very light and high quality.
Exellent cover for travel
Use with my R1200RT. Compression sack is great when room is limited. Great cover for touring. Not 100% waterproof but works great. Had heavy winds and it was fine. I'm very happy with the cover.
Decent dust cover
This is an economic cover made for indoor only. Really only good for keeping dust off your ride. Not for outdoor rain or high wind and definitely not for trailering. But, if you just need some basic protection, it's a good price. Seems reasonably well made but on the thinner side (why it's called Ultralight). It is rip-stop nylon, however. It says there's a sewn-in storage bag but I've yet to find that, not that I really care about that. There's another storage bag that comes with it. It does have a belly strap if you need it.
Fits great on my FZ1
I'm glad I read the reviews and bought a medium one. We get strong winds in NM but the cover fits so well that it hardly moves. However I wish I would have seen the part about water resistant only. It might be good for on the road to keep eyes off the bike but for outside storage you need a better one.
Extremely Lightweight & Compact, But Bike Will Get Wet
I really hesitated over the "do you recommend the product" button on the review, but ended up selecting yes.

What I like: Love that it's so compact, I take off the cover, throw it in a stuff sack, and into my backpack for the rest of the day.

What I don't like: Pretty much everything else. It's barely water resistant (I will update after I go to REI and buy water proofing spray for it), and it has already frayed a bit at some seams.

In short: If lightweight/compact is your highest priority, this will satisfy that need. It WILL protect the bike, but obviously not as well as a thicker cover, and you'll need to waterproof it frequently and likely replace it within a year. I'm glad I purchased it, just hope that there's a product that is more waterproof that retains the compact size in the future.
Excellent Cover
This Cover is Durable and made of good quality material.
The reason for the Ease of install Average is that I have a Suzuki Bergman 650 Executive with a trike kit and a luggage box in back. This cover could have been a little larger to fit this Motorcycle.
But in talking with one of the Customer Service Reps I gave him the dimensions of the MC and tried to send a picture of the MC he recommended this cover. I would have preferred a little larger cover.
Great everyday cover
This cover is light weight and packs up into its own attached bag. Sheds water and keeps the pollen and other stuff off the bike. I use it everyday at work and every night at home where I keep my bike outside. I've only had it 2 weeks, but is holding up very well.
Lightweight, cheap, easy to use,
I have a F800r, I bought the medium, it fits great but snug, so panniers probably wouldn't fit.

I love the tag in the front that says front, sometimes its hard to untangle the giant jellyfish-like blob that a motorcycle cover inevitably becomes and a starting point helps tame the cover.

It also has locking holes, I don't think it would slow down a seasoned thief but it will keep the bike safe from drunk people looking to sit on a motorcycle.

the main reason I bought this cover was to replace my last one, it flew off my bike during a 2 hour ride. It was my fault for not securing it properly, but that thing was massive and hard to put into a bag or backpack. This product is super tiny and even folds into a pocket inside the cover!
Ultralight Motorcycle Cover
I was looking for a lightweight cover for my bike when garaged in the Winter and something that would fold up reasonably small if I wanted to pack it for a road trip. Money was definitely an object so this cover fit the bill. It's nice. Their sizing directions were accurate.
Hoses worked like they should for my rocker box vents.
The cover is well made. I especially like the underneath strap that prevents blow off on windy days.
Excellent
I previously had a Harley with the typical Harley cover which I paid twice as much as this cover for half of the quality. So it does not matter what you ride this is the cover for it.
Does what it's supposed to
I bought this as a travel cover. I've only used it a couple nights, but it does what it needs to... keeps the bike a mystery. My '01 v-max isn't exactly a hot bike to steal and strip, so I'm not too worried about stuff disappearing, but it's nice to have a little extra peace of mind when staying at a hotel. This cover is thin, light, and packs smaller than my rain gear. Great purchase for me as a supplement to my usual heavier duty Guardian cover.
Cover fits perfectly and keeps bike clean and dry.
Great features and easy use
Bought this for my 1975 Honda Cb550. I bought a Large because I am storing it outside and in the elements. I wanted to cover the entire bike including the wheels. The bike is completely covered. Took me 5 seconds to cover, very easy. It also has a sewn stuff bag, so you can't lose the bag. Great product and cheapest price I found
Excellent product, easy to install, cover the whole motorcycle.
Perfect for my application
I bought this to use primarily as a dust cover in the garage. It covers every thing, easy to install and remove and keeps the bike nice and clean when I'm not riding it. Nice and soft on the inside so no abrasions. I've used it on a HD Super Glide with a shield and bags and on a Breakout. Fits perfectly on both bikes.
Good Deal
For the country club tourer who doesn't want the weather on the bike over night. I bought it for my HD and it fits perfectly in the little storage cubby on the lower faring. Fits my FJR even better!
Great Lightweight Cover
Light weight and stuffs in pillion bag easily. Not fully waterproof but keeps sun off bike when parked at work here in the Keys.
Simple, easy to use
Simple, lightweight, easy to use. Folds into itself to zip up as a neat package, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do this quickly. I fold it on my own as tightly as possible and tie the strap around it. Fits in a smaller backpack.
this is a really good looking cover
I am using it to cover a 2013 Honda Gold Wing that is in my Garage...I will also use this light weight cover on the road to keep the sun off and maybe light rain or mist...nice looking cover
Good cover to use for under the carport
I bought this to use on my wife's Honda Rebel. It's a great fit and keeps everything dry and clean. If she parked the bike in the open I probably would have gotten the heavier version. We've been using it all summer and it isn't showing any wear.
Great cover for the price
Dowco continues to impress me with the quality of their motorcycle covers, I have owned Dowco covers before which influenced my decision to buy a second cover for my other motorcycle and it has easy securing straps and protects the bike from the weather.
Excellent product
It fits my 883 HD Sportster Iron perfectly and appears to be durable material that will last for awhile. I chose this one because I park my bike in a dusty indoor garage - it does exactly what I need in keeping the bike clean when I'm not riding.

Overall, very happy with the purchase.
Good Cover
Good basic cover as far as they go. Easy to put on your bike, impossible to stuff back into its built in bag. If you get this one you'll probably end up buying a cheap stuff-bag that will fit it better. Trying to roll/fold/stuff it into a sewed-in pocket is a exercise in futility.
Great light weight cover
This is a great light weight cover. I use this cover at work to protect my v-strom from sun damage. It fits nicely in it own pocket and fits the bike perfectly. It does not come in the lighter color like the picture in the add it's darker which attracks more heat and has only one vent not two like the add said. But I really really like it and would certainly recommend it.
Awesome
Does the job well! Good material and generic enough to not attract attention to my Harley. Would buy again!
Great compact cover
Now I've had this a few months and used it daily it's time for a review. We are travelling long term and the cover is used as a physical barrier to theft and weather protection. It's easy to fit and the helmet type strap is simple to use. The only suggestion would be to make the integrated storage bag a different colour to make finding it a little easier. Otherwise very happy with it and will purchase another when this one is worn out
great value, light weight, works well
Took this with me on a long trip. It's lightweight, compact, and seems durable, although I haven't used it long enough for a long term review. Price is great.

Only gripe is that it's not very clear which is the front and which is the back when it's off the bike, so putting it on is a bit of a pain. You don't really know if you're doing it right until it's too late and you have to re-do it. Then once you take it off, it's very easy to mix up again. Some sort of indicator would be nice.
Pretty nice!
This cover (XL) fits my Triumph Explorer XC w/side cases just fine and goes on in seconds. It's light weight and packs fairly small.
Great pricprice, good cover
This is my second Dowco Guardian cover and I continue to be impressed by the value per dollar I am getting. I bought this specifically because it was less expensive but I still got a good, quality cover.

The cover is light but not flimsy, if that makes sense. The strap and elastic all feel like they're sturdy.

The Large fit my 2013 V Rod Muscle with windshield and saddlebags just right. Loose around the sides but I strap it down anyway.

I would not use this prior to your pipes cooling off. There's no lining and I assume it would damage the material.

We got some rain and the bike was dry, so that's a bonus.

Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality but inexpensive cover.
Good product for the price
I have owned several covers over the years and this one can't be beat for the price. Kept my K1200LT pretty dry with light showers.
Works great and super light weight
I own a ktm 990 adv r with high mirrors. This cover fits over the bike with my gobi panniers on it! Yes the cover will not got over the wheels, but I am not trying to protect them! Good product
fantastic cover for all weather
I have a modified ninja 250, it's tighter & more compact now, I got the MD size cover and it's perfect, definitely could fit a bigger sports bike, or this one if it were still stock with plastics.
dry and protected in the rain, a bit of condensation build-up on foggy mornings, durable and tight in the wind, easy and small to pack and bring with me when I travel, bright and somewhat reflective so cars can see it, but not super well: I'd suggest getting extra reflective strips/tape to make it more visible at night. Boom.
great bang for your buck
Lightweight and not bulky unlike other motorcycle covers. Folds right up into its own pouch. Definitely getting another soon.
Good cover
I like that it has a built in pouch so it can be packed away easily.
What I wanted
I was looking for a cover to use when the bike is stored in the garage and occasionally when travelling. This one is lightweight and compact when folded but looks to be durable enough for my needs. I bought the AT size and it's a perfect fit for my 2012 VStrom without sidecases. I do have a topcase but have not tried it with the case in place.
Despite what the ad states, the cover I received only had one vent hole and flap and the two tone color shown in the ad is not how it comes, it's solid grayish green.
If my bike had fingers it would fit like a glove!
Same brand as my last cover at half the cost and weight but with the same warranty. How did they do that? I can't comment on the durability because I just bought it. This cover completely covers my bike and has stayed on in some rather windy weather. Its quite compact when stored in its own pouch. If it came in a foil wrapper, I'd keep one in my wallet.
great cover for the price
I bought this cover for my 2006 triumph Daytona 675. The fit is perfect and the strap on the cover secures it so that wind doesn't blow it off. I have used this cover on high wind days and it performed well. If the wind is blowing from the rear to the front of the bike the cover may ride up the rear wheel a little but otherwise it works extremely well. Note a bit of condensation does form underneath the rear of the cover when it rains but it works great otherwise.
