Goodridge Ebony Series Brake Lines
This is the 2nd bike we've built using Goodridge Ebony Series lines/fittings. The lines are nicely made, and the small size allows it to be run through steel tubing in critical fit areas. This bike is still being built, but the performance-related ratings are for the previous build.
leaked on day one
I bought this a few years ago and had it stored in my house until I finally got around to changing the brake line and its leaking brakefluid everywhere. I double checked to make sure all of the fittings were tightened to spec but its leaking on the hose side where the fitting attached to the hose not the nut side.

The real part was on back order so this was a poor substitute.
I returned this part because it introduces two additional leak points.
Brake hose perfect fit
Fit as well as oem brake hose.
Still in the plastic package. Not ready for it yet. Used one like it before the accident tore it up. No flex in the line so all the pressure goes to the caliper.
Goodrich brake hose
Fit perfect I could have bought a little shorter I pre- measured length with a string after handlebar change. I like the ebony better than the white I had previously.Looks great

THE best option for anyone making frequent changes to their motorcycle. All the hardware stays in place. Just empty fluid and switch hoses for different handlebar applications.

This line is nice and slender and looks good. Very nice quality. Wish the length would have been longer. Max catalog length is 54" and I needed 64" for my Chopper build. needed to buy 46" & 18" and add a flare union, which I had to position out of sight. <br />Still like the product, just prefer less joints.

Got 6" over fork tubes and 12" bars on my 2012 vt750c2 and the 46" brake line did the trick with a couple inches more than I needed, as I plan on getting 12" bars with 2" risers. Did the trick with Goodrich Ebony banjo fittings and stock banjo bolts. Didn't have to line up the holes which made installation easier aside from a few minutes of pumping the lever to bleed and pressurize. Don't forget new crush washers! Much better than rubber lines <br />and great responsiveness. Shipping was timely.

This line was long enough to work on my 13" ape hanger bars. I was able to re-use the banjo fittings off of my shorter line and all was cool.<br />This was exactly what I was looking for! <br />Just a note-the description of the line wasn't all that clear on "with or without" line fittings.

Very simple install, took a lot of the squish out of my brakes. Be aware that this line is a smaller diameter than stock and won't fit well with stock mounting options.
Best value for the price; the sensitivity of the brake level is much better. Stopping time is shorter now.

ordered this for replacement on 2012 streetglide, but will be returning, ended up going with 14 inch for the lower cable and still have more than enough length.

I have an '03 Harley Dyna. Bought this for my front brake and a 9" for the rear. Thought that I would use the stock fittings, but turns out I can't. If you purchase these seperately be aware that you will also have to buy new fittings (same for all brake lines - I just didn't know). The online catalog has a LOT MORE options than the paper catalog, including line and fitting sets for you particular bike. The paper catalog gives the impresion that you must figure out the length and fittings yourself. Other than having to purhase all the fittings, the item itself if quality. The line is smaller than the stock hose, so if your looking for of a more stealth look, this is the way to go.

Lines are very high quality. Fit and finish very nice. I just wish there were some wrench flats on the line itself, because when you tighten the line fitting, it is very difficult to keep the hose from twisting.
All the Goodridge fittings and lines were easy to install and look great. J&P Cycles was real good about exchanges, too. I bought a 90 degree fitting, but when I ran the line, I found that the 135 degree would be better. No problemo with the exchange. They feel good, too. Braided lines feel better than the rubber/skinny tube that is stock.
This is a quality product that installed easily and is very versatile. Calculating the length for a braided brake line can be tricky, and if you order it pre-made with the banjo fittings built-in, and you make a mistake, you are stuck. I ordered all my parts, and discovered I would be better off with a 135 degree banjo fitting on the caliper than a 90, due to the different flex of braided like vs. stock. J&P allowed me to exchange the fitting for the one I wanted. It was easy, and it looks great. The black finish is superb and is a nice change of pace from the chrome look everybody else has.
