Product worked well. When rinsing tank after Part A wanted to make sure I got all out so I rinsed 3 times. Ended up with "flash" rust (tank worse than when I started). My fault.<br /><br />As instructions suggested, saved solutions and cleaned again. Give it a 99% clean on what I could see.

Kreem Tank Prep is a two-part chemical system for preparing the interior of V-twin motorcycle fuel tanks before a Kreem tank liner is applied. Prep A is a concentrated cleaner and rust dissolver, and Prep B is a final rinse and conditioner. Together they remove rust, scale, and contamination from the tank interior and etch the surface so the liner has a clean, receptive base to bond to.
Riders choose this system for restoration and protection work on older fuel tanks, where rust and scale can undermine a new liner. Cleaning and etching the interior creates the surface the Kreem liner needs for a long-lasting seal, helping guard against fuel contamination and future corrosion. Prep A dissolves stubborn rust and scale, and Prep B neutralizes and conditions the surface after cleaning.
