Horrible Finish
I got the mirrors with black stems and chrome mirror. The finish on them are awful. The chrome bleeds all over the bone hands which are supposed to be black. The stems are made of metal, but the mirror head/hand is all plastic which cheapens the look of the mirror significantly. The product looks cool online, but really falls short in person and I removed the mirrors after 2 days.

l bought these mirrors for my Street Glide and they looked and functioned great! The problem is the black paint faded in less than 6 months and I keep my bike in a garage when I'm not out on the road riding. For a $162.00 this shouldn't happen.

I dont think youll ever find mirrors more stylishly eye catching or solidly made than these bad boys!! I only had about a handful of compliments from strangers on my bike prior to buying these and from the very first day installed to date I receive at least 5 a day. I kid you not, youll feel like a Rock Star from all the attention you receive. I was impressed how quickly I received them and especially for the fact it usually takes forever to receive packages in Hawaii and to top it off they arrived 1 day early. The packaging it comes in insures it arrives Undamaged and flawless which would be almost impossible not to be considering its practically hermetically sealed to protect the finish. I want to address the comments made about the mirror not staying in position to alleviate and concerns or reservations. The only way this could really happen is if the mounting bolt or Allen head screw located at the base of the stem wasnt fully tightened. They can easily be installed in 10 minutes. You can throw the wind factor being the calprit out the window because the wind on Maui can go from 15 to 40 mph in a second and never once did my mirrors move, even with the vibration from the bike. I highly recommend this product and I guarantee you wont be disappointed. I wanted to post some pictures to share some visuals, because I probably would of bought them sooner if I had some for reference. Also to show you how durable they are. I was in a motorcycle accident today and I still cant believe they only had a tiny nick on the chrome, not a scratch on the black finish, the wrist stem wasnt broken or even scratched, the ball joint didnt budge an inch and this was with the bike behind slammed down hard on its side!!! The mirror was actually a savior for the chromed out side because it withstood the impact keeping it from taking a direct hit without even a crack. The funny thing is the mirror survived almost unscathed, but my foot brake and peg was toasted lol The only reason the mirror came off was because the fastening bolt sheared off from the weight and impact. I hope the above Lends a helping hand with making a decision you truly wont regret ????
These mirrors made the bike look awesome. Kuryakyn needs to improve the joint where the mirror pivots. Maybe a set screw as one of them kept moving while riding. I had to epoxy it in place.

I love these babies. They were a bit thicker than I expected but none the less the give my Sportster a beefy look that I love.

Bad ass mirrors
These are durable well-made and unique mirrors that we get compliments on wherever we go and they are big enough and high enough that you can see easily behind you while riding the motorcycle very glad we purchased these instead of just a basic rearview mirror set! These mirrors make the bag, like they were made for it and it's pretty cool that you get to select your finish choices to customize it to your bike finishes.
I really like the design and was surprised that it seems to be pretty sturdy, more so than i would think for the price. Good bang for the buck

Was originally a little worried about the finish. In some pictures the black on the mirror looked kind of cheap, but the actual mirrors look great! The stems are much thicker than the stock ones and the mirrors take some tweaking, but not much. Just make sure that you read all the instructions that come with them and don't break off your reverse threaded right hand mirror...like a friend of mine...(not me) did on his bike. (Not mine).... Anyway they look awesome! Cant wait to get more skeleton appearance stuff to the bike now.

These look good but are a bit underwhelming in terms of durability. <br /><br />The mirror shroud is plastic whereas the arms themselves are metal. I've had them mounted for about a year and a half and I've already started to lose a bit of the mirror coating, there's yellow coming through where I should be able to see a reflection.<br /><br />Generally I've really liked Kuryakyn products but I think these just don't cut it.

Great Mirror
1st off they were packaged very well and delivered on time.<br />The install was easy on my 2019 Roadster 883. Took me about a half hour and I took my time. Of course I had all the tools necessary. (Standard sizes). I can now see everything behind me. Got compliments from multiple ppl the first day. Very happy with them

I would recommend these. I know there are knock off brands that sell these as well but definitely not the same quality. I know from experience because I had a buddy order the cheap ones and he ended up buying these as well after seeing the difference in durability.

Eh its a cheep mirror so you get cheep results. The wind likes to shift them no matter how much I tighten them. Definitely looking at different products to replace

I have had the black arms with the chrome mirror for about 5 years now. The black coating has peeled and flaked off of most of the arms and the Mirrors are peeling under the glass making brown spots that you can't see through.

Easy installation, but I did have to put some lock tight on the screws to make them stop coming loose. The mirror seems to have started to fog or glaze effects after I got some miles on em. I get a lot of compliments about them no matter where I go though.

Did not know Kuryakyn products were made off shore. Plating was fine but the black fingers on the mirror looked like some kid painted with a brush. Stood too tall for my taste. Put them on Craigslist.

Poor Quality & Durability
Poor quality. After making a couple of adjustments, the right mirror connection point became loose to the point it will not hold the desired position. There's no way to tighten it.

I got the black on black with black mirrors, they were on the bike for 3 months and the black has faded dramatically, also the left mirror vibrates over 40mph so makes it useless 90% of the time. Hoping the next set is a little better going for chrome arms with black mirror.
These are awesome ! As said in previous reviews view is much better than the stock mirrors. Look great on my 2020 Softail Standard. Easy install all hardwear you need comes with less than 20 min to install! Definitely reccomend!

When I opened the box I was very surprised. The mirrors were awesome and looked just like the picture. The only thing was. It said that you have to buy separate bolts. Well the box came with them. So I ordered extra bolts and didn't really need to. Other than that it is great. All of the products are very nice and easy return if necessary.
Does not last
At first these mirrors were awesome. They looked great, didn't vibrate, easy installation. After about 10 months the chrome plating on the stems started to peel off. Now there isnt any chrome left at all and they look horrible. Very disappointed because these were not cheap at all.

First arrived back in March in good time and perfect condition. After a few weeks of riding the right hand mirror would move out of position due to slip steam, with no way of adjusting tension they were useless. J & P online help sorted the issue quickly and sent out a replacement pair. For some reason they never arrived here in Dubai, and a third set was sent. It just arrived, they're mounted and will update review in a months time.<br />In short..the service and support form J & P was exceptional. Have ordered, and will order from them again.

Chrome stems on black...
These got delivered in perfect time the day before Memorial Day '21. Living in Indy and gearing up for visitor's for the race each year gets pretty hectic. Unsure these would arrive in time kinda added to my stress...overall though it was a great purchasing experience. Only took 5 of the estimated 7 days to get here and I just finished installing them. They are tough/sturdy and I can tell theyll last as long as I want. Permanent install as far as I'm concerned. They set off my 2007 Vulcan Classic LT (VN2000). Black/Red and go with my little license plate mount skeleton heads w red eyes quite nicely. Very pleased! I would highly recommend this product and will update this review with a picture after the holiday is over and everyone has left. ?? ???? ??

My 06 wide glide was restored and lowered 2 inches. I wanted a solo seat to match the look. This seat looks great and is also comfortable.

Great Vlaue
I got these for my 2004 Honda Shadow Areo. this product is very well made, you can feel it in the weight. the kit came with metric adapters making installation very easy. since these mirrors reach further out I can see more behind me than I could with the factory mirrors. After putting several hundred miles since install I have not had to readjust them once., and they look totally bad a$$. Very happy with them.

These mirrors look awesome, I get many compliments on them. Unlike the stock mirrors, there are no screws to adjust the resistance of the mirrors. Anything over 25 mph and the right mirror keeps folding in towards me. It needs readjustment every 5 minutes or so. My left one is fine so they're not all bad, but surely could use the adjustment screws.

The pictures make the back of the mirrors seem like the hands and the mirrors are separate pieces (to me), so I was a little bummed to discover its one entire metal piece, so there isn't as much definition between the mirrors and the hands but it still looks cool. My only complain is that they keep coming loose after reinstalling them a couple times, that may just be my fault for not being so mechanically inclined. Overall good value, heavy mirrors, they sit a little higher than the stock HD mirrors which is a big plus and they dont vibrate much on the highway.
Nice Mirrors - No super great with Batwing Fairing
I installed these on my '15 Ultra Classic, they were easy to install, however the left mirror bolt that came with the set was a bit too long, had to add a washer to get it to fit down very snug.<br /><br />They look awesome to me, however, when viewed from the front on a bike with a batwing fairing, they only stick out a little bit, you can see a bit of the hand on the mirror, and not the wrist at all.<br /><br />The mirrors themselves are smaller than stock HD mirrors, and while I don't mind, it does leave to less visibility on the road as to what is behind you, but it isn't bad.<br /><br />Match them with Zombie Grips and Brake/Clutch levers for a sick look on your ride.
