A must have for tall ape hangers!
Installed these on my fat boy lo with 16" ape hangers because my fingers would begin to tingle after 20 minutes of riding from the vibrations in the bars. Switched to these grips from a set of premium HD grips and problem solved! They look good (I have black ones) and they feel nice in the hand. Highly recommend these!
Decent Grips
Added these to my 48 after installing a set of drag bars. Bulkier than I had anticipated. A word of advice, install the throttle grip first so you know how the grooves sit on the bar. Then install the left hand grip ensuring that the grooves sit symmetrically to the throttle grip. It kind of irritates me that they aren't even.

The difference between these grips and the stock HD grips are night and day! These are fatter, more comfortable, and reduce a considerable amount of vibration while looking FANTASTIC! I got the Chrome Premium Contoured ISO Grips and they are SEXY coupled with the Kuryakyn Silhouette levers. I was hesitant about the throttle boss getting in the way when riding around town but found them to be quite intuitive and easy to use, and actually very comfortable. Friggin' wonderful on long trips. Hand still numbs after about two hours, up from about 45 minutes previously. Stop looking at other grips - BUY THESE!
Helps relieve numbness but doesn't prevent it
After reading other reviews I thought I would give these a try in preventing my fingers from going numb after 30 minutes. And they DO work. Fingers still go numb but it now takes longer and it doesn't take as long to restore feeling in them. Look great on the bike but are a pain in the backside to put on. Unless your fingers are long and thin you will have problems. Brass ferrules are small and hard to hold onto. Lost count of the number of times I dropped one. Also not easy getting them back into the throttle grip and the cable into its groove. Took a little less than two hours to install (includes time trying to find one of the ferrules). Glue was not dried out as others have said and worked as expected.
Buyer Beware
DO NOT BUY THESE FOR METRIC BIKE. They do not fit even though it says universal fit and shows up on page to fit my bike. A 2007 Vulcan 900 custom. I am now a proud owner of a set of grips I can not use. Nothing wrong with the quality just do not fit.

Great grips. Very comfortable and they look great on my Heritage! My only complaint...The glue they send for the left grip, sets up way to fast! Man you better be quick and get that grip in position fast! There's no second chance! <br />I would suggest a slow setting glue
Fantastic grips
These grips are as described...great at reducing vibration and a littler larger than stock HD grips so they are a lot more comfortable. Easy to install, however definitely put the left side on quickly because the provided glue will set very, very quickly!

I had iso grips with a throttle boss on my last bike & loved them. So far I love the new pair too & my wife loves hers too! These grips are softer than stock HD grips & still provide a secure grip with or without gloves. The throttle boss is nice on long trips.
The Kuryakyn Throttle Boss handgrips are the best, especially if you have arthritis in your throttle hand and need to be able to stretch your fingers on a regular basis. I had put these on my previous Super Glide and when I changed bikes recently, this is one of the first upgrades I made. Being able to continue your speed with the palm of your hand is a great blessing.
I love them !! They are much more comfortable than the OEM grips.The built in throttle boss is also a plus over the add on plastic one.If that wasn't enough they match my KURYAKYN forward controls.They are well made & look great.I recommend them to all interested.

The install is straight forward, just have the left grip lined out because the glue sets up fast. The cushioning on the grip is just what I needed as I have problems with my hands going numb after a while of riding. The grips significantly lessened the numbing. The look is great and fits the custom look I have. I would recommend these grips to anyone who might be considering them.

I will have these on ever bike I ever own. They reduce vibration and let your palms get air. I have had them on three bike now and love them.
Stylish and functional
Great product. Easy to install and good fit and finish. I own a 2006 Harley softtail and chose these grips over another pair simply due to the soft rubber inserts. Which make for a more comfortable ride over a longer duration. Style is important to me, but without function its worthless. And these do both. Overall satisfy and not disappoint.

Kuryakyn iso grips
I have a Fatboy with 16" apes , and my fingers were going numb after 30 miles. Put the new kuryakyn iso grips with throttle assist and wow !! what a difference . my only regret is I didn't buy them sooner. A must have if your running apes. Install was a snap , use some blue lock tight on the end cap screws to be safe....

I got these for my Girlfriends Sportster since she was having cramping in her throttle hand. I had the same issue a d habe had these on my C50 Boulevard for 17 years with the throttle boss. It lets you loosen your grip and rock the throttle with you palm. Definatley worth it if you have carpal tunnel. She tried the cramp buster with the cheap Avon grips but it was in the way when not needed and spun around too much when in use. These solved the problem.

I ordered a different set of grips originally but found out that they wouldn't work due to my bike having the handlebar air reservoir setup. I ordered these as a I've purchased Kuryakyn products in the past and these would support handle bar reservoir feature. Honestly, while not my first choice I'm pretty happy with them! Installation was easy, grips feel great.

Love these grips. This is the third bike I’ve had these on. But the Throttle Boss is not included as it leads you to believe in the description. So ended up ordering it after I received the grips. I went with black this time and the fit and finish is beautiful. Helps a lot with vibration and with the addition of the contoured throttle boss it keeps your throttle hand from tiring. Highly recommend these grips.
Fantastic Grips!
These are great grips. I have them on my 82 Ironhead and on my 2015 Street Bob. I have put these on every bike I have owned in the past 10-15 years. They are more expensive than others on the market, but they hold up and the throttle boss can be adjusted after the grip is on the bike. On many one has to remove the grip to adjust the throttle boss. These not only look great, but they are the most comfortable grips for a long ride that I have found.

highway boss
the attachment fior the highway boss is great too use even on back roads that you can do 45 mph. I have not been on the higheway yet so i need to test them there next. I would recommend them to anyone thats new to motorcycling and to the people that have a lot of miles under the belts.

Threw the contoured option of these on my 2019 Iron 883. Love the look and feel! Contoured is the way to go for small to extra large hand size. Initially bought the "premium" option but the throttle boss portion of the grip was far too small, and I've got small hands! Doesn't completely rid the grips of vibration hence the 4 stars. However, it's a Harley....

Easy install but each one had little tiny sharp point of paint? Black chrome? on each end in 1 little spot from manufacture. I used a rubber mallet to level it out since it was enough to scratch skin. Other than that they look good and are nice and comfy.
I am VERY pleased with these grips! These replaced the same grips, that had become worn and "sticky" on humid days. My previous set had the Stiletto grip spikes, which without longer screws, I had to leave off, due to the throttle boss being too thick for the screws to reach through the spikes AND the boss. <br />I haven't acquired the longer screws yet, but will soon. <br />I didn't know if I'd like the throttle boss, as I've gone this long without it. I'm pleased with it. I didn't realize how much pressure I had been leaving on the grip when stretching my hand out on long trips. This boss allows me to completely release the grip, while maintaining throttle position. <br />I'm overall pleased with this setup and will purchase again, when necessary.

Once on, the grips really do change the way your bike feels during riding. The grips are far more comfortable than the stock metal grips provided by Harley Davidson. At this point, the only challenge or negative that I have to share is that the "Black Widow" Grip Glue that arrived with my grips dried incredibly fast. I had a problem because as I was trying to get the grip all the way onto the handlebars, the glue seemed to set on the rubber inside of the grips. The grip became stuck 1/2 way on the bike. I went through hell trying to get it off, and ended up having to use a rubber mallet and a screwdriver to get the grip off. Next, I had to scrape the handlebars to get them clear of the dried glue and find a way to get the grip, with dried glue inside it, all the way on and properly positioned. The right sidewas no issue at all, and I was able to change it quite easily. The only issue resulted from the glue and not form the grips themselves. With all that said, I will never go back to the original grips, and these felt truly awesome on my all too brief test drive. I am excited to see how the throttle boss feels on a longer ride this weekend. I am hopeful that it decreases fatigue and cramping of the forearms.

I have these grips on my ‘13 street bob. I love them. They were easy to install and very comfortable. The only thing I’d say you have to watch is the adhesive that comes with them. It is no joke. Do I dry/test run before applying the adhesive.

I had a cheaper Chinese one before the Kuryakyn’s. The quality of the Kury’s is slight better off the box. The main difference is the firmer feel in the rubber components, where the Chinese one is softer and loose.<br />The chrome part is thicker and neat, too.<br />Other than that, no significant difference.

Really like these grips, they make riding pleasant. Make sure to test fit them and mark where the left grip is going to be, the glue sets very fast and firm.
I’ve had these grips on for the entire riding season and I am very pleased with them. Install was easy however take your time and plan the install. It took about 30 minutes start to finish. They are solid and don’t move a bit. Very comfy with my leather gloves on. The throttle boss took a little getting used to but it’s a nice feature for those short runs around town instead of using cruise control.

What more can I say about this Kuryakyn ISO Grip Set with Throttle Boss...after leaving the Military in 2001, I stop riding "Crotch Rockets", bought my first Cruiser and was introduced to these grips. Have been using them every since. They extremely comfortable, stylish, and just down right bad ass.

These are the best grips I have ever used on a street bike. I have them on my Harley Sportster. When my hands go numb I can use different parts of my hand for control and allow the blood flow to correct itself. Plus they feel great when I'm just enjoying a ride. They came recommended to me and I highly recommend them to you !
Grips are very comfortable great feel but the throttle grip is lose. Has too much slack in it these are definitely not made to fit my 13 wide glide wouldn’t recommend these
Second set of Kury grips I've had and by far my favorite. Just remember that the grip glue is fast drying and you have to get the left grip positioned quickly.
So much more comfortable than stock grips

like the look of grips and feel only thing is throttle is a sloppy fit up and down movement compared to stock 97 sportster s 1200

This is my 2nd. pair of these grips. I am replacing my handle bar so I needed a new pair. I ride for long distances the extra comfort of these grips really helps my hands

I ran these on a Fat Bob for four years and loved them. I will be putting them on my 82 Shovelhead, with the throttle Boss. They’re comfy and look great.

I really like them good feel good quality.downside was during install had to file down throttle side to fit inside of drag specialties housing if not was nonstop cruise.
Love them, comfortable and almost as good a cruise.

I love them, easy to install if your mechanically smart, throttle side takes a few mins , clutch side was simple, they are very comfy, I can't wait for warm weather to try them on a long ride

Bought these for my wife’s Sportster, easy to put on! The entire job took 15 minutes, they look great and feel even better. The throttle boss is adjustable with 4 Allen head screws on the end of the grip, and once set has been rock solid. I did have to adjust the throttle tension screw a little, as the dimensions of the cable grooves were a little different. Still only took 15 minutes!
Only took a short ride with these grips to try them out. It is March in the northeast. I like them. Comfortable. Easy install. Look good. Rubber is soft and grippy.

These look cool and with the boss on your throttle your hand wont get so tired on long runs highly recommend that attachment

I love having the throttle boss now, the fit was a little loose on my Biltwell bars, but nothing a little tape in the left grip wouldnt fix.

Had to replace the same set when I replaced handlebars as the left will never come off. Originals were 5 years old and looked as good as the day I bought them. These should hold up just as well.
