You get what you pay for. These did the job, however they are pretty short and not comfortable. They hurt and bruised my hands after using them. I would say they are more oriented to portable use such as on the road.

Good Spoons

The spoons work great. Using 3 is a lot easier than 2 so I purchased the pair and a single. A 3 pack would make more sense, but no big deal. The wide blunt end is more forgiving on your tubes, but not fool proof. I have popped tubes using these. You still need to be careful. I've put a lot of force on mine mounting stiff rear tires and they've shown no signs of weakness. Good product.

Good tire iron but you may want one with a hex on the end

The spoon on the end is good size and shape to slip between the tire and rim. It helps reduce pinch damage when putting the new/repaired tube back in and the tire back on. I purchased this tire iron for home use as a third iron for tough tires. I also have other motion pro tire irons (made from aluminum) that have hex wrenches for the axle nut on the handle end. I carry one of these with each of my dirt bikes for trail tire repairs, but you need two irons to get a tire off the rim. So one like this is a good second or get one with other size hex on the end. Check to see if your front axle nut is same size as rear. Some motion pro irons also have 12/13mm hexs for chain adjustment.<br />I have quite a few motion pro tools now and have found them to be good quality for the price. Some are unique and very helpful and time saving for motorcycle work.

Simple Tyre Spoon

Nothing fancy but does the job well. Curved spoon tip prevents damage to tyres and rims, but should be used with a rim shield if you love your rims as the pewter finish is slightly rough.

I got 2 and they came in a plastic pocket so that's nice. They work fine. No sharp edges and a decent curve on the spoon end. Very strong. The finish is much more matte than it looks in the photo so they have a grainy feel against the rim. They get the job done. Also the loop end can be put on an allen wrench or something for extra leverage in a pinch.

Great stuff

Absolute must have, makes diy tire changes a breeze and helps prevent damage to the bead. You'll need at least 3 but more is always better.

Buy three, thank yourself

As suggested by others, if you are gonna buy two you should just go ahead and buy a third. These work well and with three in hand you'll manage to get those tires on and off - for hell or high water

It broke...

I don’t know if there was a defect or what, but I bought a pair of these and one of them broke halfway down the spoon part. <br /><br />Unbelievable. The second one worked fine. Changed the front and got the new rear halfway on before it broke. Had to finish the change in time for work the next day so was forced to finish with a broken spoon. <br /><br />It was not kind to the rim...

Worked just fine

Great investment if you want to save money mounting your own tires. It will take some muscle, but they have already paid for themselves.

Motion Pro Tire Spoons worked great - well made

These tire spoons make a tough job of changing dual sport (KLR650) tires a lot better. No pinch tubes and the length is good to work with. Really like the loop end you can insert screwdriver or bar for extra leverage. Thanks !

Tire irons work great for changing tires- (KLR650)

I ride a 09 KLR 650-->Used 3 of these tire irons to put my new heidenau k60's. These things worked great. Getting the last 6 inches to seed on my back rim was a beast! (Nothing to do with the tire irons, I know.) Ended up setting the tire in the sun for 2 hours then it popped right on with some windex & air. Anyways, yeah....the tire irons work great. I'll be putting them in my travel kit to use in case of a flat on the road.

This works good for in the wood changing tire..

Use this product twice.. Ounce at home and ounce stuck in the wood. This iron is a little big (thick) for getting under the rubber in the last couple of inches. The end of the sppon is well made for not puncturing the tube.

Right tool for the job!

Picked up two of the Motion Pro Spoon Type Tire Iron's. Used them almost immediately to install some T63 tires on my KLR. They worked great - made the job much easier that I expected it to be. I also used the Motion Pro BeadPRO during the installation to aid in separating the tire bead from the rim and as a third tire spoon. I highly recommend the Motion Pro tire spoons - well worth the money.

perfectly shaped spoon

Makes tire changing much easier even for a novice like me. The shape of the spoon made gripping the tire really easy. I suggest purchasing 3

Very good shape for helping work the tire and just long enough for easy leverage. I am very pleased. Could be cheaper but metal feels solid and coating is looking good.

Put on 3 tires with these so far they work great. Nice finish and smooth enough to take it easy on aluminum wheels
