This tool made driving a seal quick and easy. One note if you are using it to drive the outer bushing, insert the old bushing in the notch in the driver or it will constantly remove the new bushing because it slips into that notch.

Great product. Honestly a great seal driver, probably the best seal driver. Listen. Anyone who is questioning. I do to, but this tool right here, truly. Worth it. Can you short cut and get it done yeah absolutely. But probably the only time finishing something in under 10 seconds that doesn't cause a headache.

I was reluctant to buy this tool at first. I researched all the youtube videos on home made tools but didn't have the time to go and buy the stuff and make one. I am very glad I bought this tool. It is very durable and so easy to use. It fits perfectly around my fork with no question of will it work or cause damage. This product is worth the purchase and I would recommend it to anyone who just wants to get the job done and not spend more time in fabrication.

I am using the 49mm version on my '17 H-D XL1200X 'Forty Eight.' Tool works great! Though it is possible to use pvc as a fork slider, I prefer having specific tools for the job. This works great!

What they dont tell you is that it only fits 46 or 47 mm fork tubes. Ours are 48 mm<br />Would have been nice to know.
Makes the job much easier!
While not necessary to complete the job (could have made something DIY to get the job done), the quality of this seal driver made the process a piece of cake. It is well worth the money to make the job so much more simpler. Saves time and effort. The locking slide ring makes the two halves work as on piece, further simplifying the process. Seals went in easy, straight and right the first time.

This was my first attempt at changing fork seals and this nifty tool made the process easy. I'm really glad I made the decision to purchase the 37mm "fitted" option rather than an adjustable driver. I would definitely purchase the Motion Pro fork seal driver again-it's a well-built, quality tool.

Works as intended. I'm not sure why it needs to split as you have to have the tube out of the clamps to install the seals anyway. Someone enlighten me. Does it have another use?

Tough to justify spending this much on a circular lump of metal, until you consider how much the shop would charge you to do the job. There are cheaper options available, and plenty of people get by with those, but I'm glad I added this to the bill. It does one job, and it does it very, very well.

Right tool for the job.
This tool, sized to fit the fork inner tube, made a fork seal change much easier. I would recommend this "sized for application" approach over "one size fits all". As I need to replace fork seals on my other bikes, I will order more of these. BTW, there is no need to take the tool apart. Just slide it down the inner fork tube if you're working with a traditional fork.

Usually ecstatic about Motion Pro tools and this one is generally no exception, BUT: the tool that was delivered had some aluminum flecks and wires on the sliding surfaces, probably from production/machining. I susepct they would have left some pretty nasty scrtachs on the surface of the forks if I hadn't seen them. Cleaned them off and used the tool without any marring, so would still recommend, just inspect carefully before using.

This is a tool that makes it easy to do the job right, without fiddling around, pinching fingers, or damaging the seals. 100% metallic construction, will outlast my bike. The only problem was that the impact face on one of the halves had a dent that produced a sharp edge. Someone dropped it before packaging. It was either fix it or have a delay, so I removed the dent with a file followed by a sharpening stone. Ill have to treat that bare metal now. I gave 4/5 stars on quality only because of the dent.

There are cheaper drivers on the market, but the quality is extremely poor and may even damage the new seal as you're trying to seat them. Very good quality, well built tool that will last for years of use.

I was able to install the bushing and oil seal easily and with no drama. The way it should be, thanks to this tool. Just make sure you get the correct size by measuring your inner fork tube with a caliper.

Nice to have
If you have a bike that you plan on keeping forever, this will be very nice to have. Makes replacing seals much easier, but unless you have more than one bike with the same fork size then you wont be using it much. Kind of a one trick pony and I still had to use the old bushing to drive the new bushing into place as well as using this but I guess it's called a fork seal driver for a reason. Worth the buy in my opinion
What a great tool and fairly reasonable in price. Little by little I'm finally buying all the proper seal drivers for my motorcycles and this one is very nice.

Finally did it the right way...
I've always just used a PVC pipe to bang these in. I've done so many fork slider changes for my friends I decided it was time to invest. I will tell you this tool makes a world of difference. A few slides and the seal is driven in and set perfectly. Saves time and makes the job easier to complete

It's worth the money
I'm a rider who enjoys working on his own stuff and have a vast tool collection which makes it easy. When I started to look into replacing my fork seals on my Harley, I began to notice that I would need something like the tool above. I kept looking at the tool and back at the price thinking is it worth it? I pulled the trigger and would never look back. It's a tool you may not use often but is convenient when you do. Sturdy product and does what it's intended to do.
This tool made installing fork seals a piece of cake. Rebuilding the forks on my 89 Heritage was really easy, if I can do it, you can too!

Product is very well made and will set your oil seal and bushings and washers very well. I've seen people use like a 32mm socket or PVC to drive the seal and I just didn't feel comfortable doing that. Using this product will not damage the oil seal and although the $35+ price seems a little pricey it's an excellent investment for your bike.<br />I was really impressed with the workmanship and I think it should last forever. Do I recommend? Yup.

A required tool for the DIY
I contemplated making the purchase as some guys said it's not needed. After using it to rebuild a set of forks (my first fork rebuild ever) I am very glad I made the purchase and my buddies are looking to do their rebuild now that I have the right tools. I know I will end up using it again more than once so the cost is spread out over several forks. Total cost of tools and parts was under 150. Local dealer quoted $450.
The Right Way
My first time changing and replacing fork seals on my Honda Shadow. There were tutorials that showed ways to make your own fork seal driver with some plastic pipe clamped to the fork... That is such a hassle and likely to be ineffective. Just buy this tool. I already saved $300 by doing it myself rather than paying for a bike shops maintenance fees, so it's 100% worth dropping $40 on a tool that will make the entire job run seamlessly.

Well built specialty tool
The Motion Pro fork seal driver is one of those things that you will need only a new times in an individual bike's life. If you have a few bikes with the same fork diameter, or help work on bikes for friends, this will come into use more frequently.<br /><br />The seal driver tool is well made, quickly snaps into place around the fork, and locks into position, giving a solid base to work the seals back into place in the lower legs. I'm thankful I don't have to do fork seals often, as it's a messy job, but I'm glad I have this tool that will work on both my motorcycles.
