Buy this seat!
I purchased this seat for a long ride comfort upgrade for myself as well as my wife. First of all only negative was that I had to bend the nose tap down maybe a quarter inch so the seat would fit over my fuel tank. Easily done with vise grips. Looks wise, the seat appears well made and materials and workmanship are flawless. I put this on my 06 Streetglide, and while it is a much bulkier seat, it looks great. Two days after install I did 755 miles in a single day, roughly twelve hrs on the saddle riding from Taft California to Coose Bay Oregon. Unreal! With stock saddle hotspots would become unbearable in about 150 miles. I literally only stopped for fuel and spent no more than 15 minutes off of the bike each time. I believe I could easily have gone 1000 miles in a day but for pfysicsl and mental fatigue. I recommend this to anyone looking for long haul comfort. Always great mustang quality. The seat sits about 1” higher than stock, and it also shifts the pressure points from dead on your ass bones to spread out across your back thighs as well, getting rid of pressure points whatsoever

Saved my backside!
I had a seat that was original with the bike (19 years old) that made my bike completely unrideable because the foam was done. I was getting ready to spend $1k on a Russell Day Long seat, but to be honest, felt lazy about taking photos of my backside and filling put their form. <br /><br />Super easy install on my ‘05 Road King! Took longer to take off the old seat than to install this one! <br /><br />I’ve only had one 1/2 hour ride on this, so for “all day comfort”, I can’t answer yet. I have reason to believe there may be a “break-in” period as others have stated as it does feel firm. <br /><br />However, this is the first seat I’ve had where, as a passenger, the seat is actually bigger than my backside! It also matched the old sissy bar out of the box perfectly!<br /><br />It does sit higher, but I kind of like that! <br /><br />Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because I haven’t been on it for any longer than 30 min and it does feel like it needs to be “broken in.” <br /><br />I got the “regal with black studs”.
It was a beautiful seat. Unfortunately it did not fit my bike.

Finally caught his seat in stock and placed order, receiving it 4 days later. Installed on my 2016 Street Glide Special. Went on fairly easy with good fit. I’m 5’11” 185#, it does seem to sit me a little forward and up. I can still flat foot comfortably, but t does feel a bit different, which I’m sure will take a few hundred miles to get used to. I do like the comfort of the seat over the stock Harley seat.

Very comfortable seat after break in. I prefered the original seat on my roadking because of the height. This seat was a little taller, but had better support at the lower back and my wife loves it for the longer ride. I recommend purchasing this seat
Just got this seat about 300 miles ago. The first 100, the seat was a little stiff but now at 300 it has started to mold in on me and...... now we're talking! very comfortable and the quality is perfect. My lady is amazed at her level of comfort as well, wants to know why I didn't spend the damn money and get this seat sooner :-) Oh, I ordered this on a Sunday and installed it Wednesday! Nice job as always JP, That's why I'm a repeat customer!
great seat! sits a little higher then stock seat. way more comfortable.
This seat was on my Road King when I bought it. Most comfortable seat I've rode on. Can ride for a couple of hours without any issues. Get the back rest that goes with it and you have it made.
If you are looking for a long distance seat, this is it! On the stock seat, butt was hurting after only 200 miles. Have done over 600 miles in one shot with this one, and felt great! Easy install, looks great, holds up well. Over 6000 miles with it and looks new.<br />You do have to get use to the additional height though. But it was better for my legs.
Amazingly comfortable seat! After only a couple of rides this seat started to fit like a glove! So much better than the stock seat!
Listen to me!!! are you listening? This is the last seat you will ever have to buy. In April I purchased a tour seat from Harley and it sent knife piercing pain down my back on long rides. I read a lot of the reviews, went to Mustang's web site and decided to give this seat a try. A world of difference not only for me but my gal pal also. Whether hopping around town or on a long distance ride this seat hold up great.

Seat is very comfortable and good quality. Only gripe I have is that it raised me up a couple of inches and I have short legs.
This seat is very rigid and uncomfortable. After several rides the seat is still uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the money. Should have bought OEM Harley Davidson.

This seat beats the stock OEM seat, but I find it to be harder. Maybe that goes away after time? Also, I am sitting higher, which I don't like even though my legs are average length - 30 in. inseam. I wish there had been mention of that in the product description. On the positive side, it puts my line of sight just over the top of the windshield. Before, I would be looking through the edge of the windshield at the road.
Mustang - One-piece Touring Seats for 1997-2006 Road King® (except FLHRS)<br /><br />This is the 3rd seat I have used on this bike and I an extremely impressed. The original seat I had would not work with the leather tour pack that I added. The replacement seat was not comfortable at all for me or my rider when we went 2 up. I just completed a 1500 mile trip in 3 days with this new seat in everything from rain, hail and 125 degree temperatures and for some extended distances. The seat is extremely comfortable and durable.
