Comfort to spare
I want to let everyone know this seat is a great add on to any 2017 Street Glide Special. Me and my wife do alot of riding and this was the 1st add on we purchased for our new bike. I needed a little more reach and she wanted more comfort and we got both. I'm 5ft 7inches tall and this seat let's me rest both feet comfortably on the ground. The design also keeps me where I want to be without always having to re-adjust at every stop. My wife loves the comfort the seat gives her on our rides usually 200-300 mile. She says the factory seat doesn't compare in anyway to this one. I would highly recommend his seat to anyone needingredients more reach and cares about their passengers comfort. 5 out of 5
Better than OEM
Order this seat for my 2014 Limited in order to get lower to the ground and it achieved the goal along with comfort.

Overall I,m very happy with this seat but do not expect it to be 1.5 inches lower. The construction of this seat is super.This seat is hands down much better than the stock seat.imo

Taking some time to get use to it but I'm not sitting any lower than I was with the stock seat due to it being a little wider but very comfortable
Lower ride
I bought my seat on a recommendation from a friend, I am 5'10 but like a lower ride, this seat gave me the feel I wanted without requiring an air lowering suspension and is comfortable for long rides. Highly recommend.
On a 2016 street glide special, the seat is more comfortable and has a better seating position than stock for someone that's 5'7". The seat doesn't feel like it lowers you very much, but being a little narrower makes it easier to place your feet on the ground. The passenger seat is very comfortable according to the wife, way better than the stock one.
I've had mustang seats on the last 3 bikes I've owed you can't beat the quality and comfort. I'm 5' 8 and the low down seat is perfect height for me on a 2021 ultra limited
Best seat on the market
Did a 2000 mile road trip when I got this seat. Longest day was 587 miles. I have back issues and had no problems. The rider backrest is definitely worth the money!!????
Comfy seat
Really comfortable seat!! I was looking to lower my height a little but seems to be little difference from stock but put 800 miles on it and wasn't tired at all!!
This seat is great lowered me an inch and moved me forward and inch and on top<br />Of that seat is at least 1 inch narrower in front. And did I say the memory foam in great too. I'm 5-6 and really helped my reach
Great Seat. Lowers you just a shade.
I bought this to get a bit slimmer and lower saddle than stock. The difference is very slight but enough of a difference to notice. Very comfortable.

Perfect fit on my 2021 Street Glide. Definitely helps for those of us with a shorter inseam. And on top of that so far I've gone around 300 miles in a day and it is very comfortable.
A quality product for those who need to be lower to the ground-
It's a nice seat. It's firmer than the couch that came with the bike, but is shaped well- supportive. Fitment is ok but not perfect. Looks good, but I wish it was real leather. I got it for the lower leg clearance- it's a big bike and I'm kinda short. Overall, no regrets!

Best backrest I've ever used. VERY sturdy & great support. Just wish it locked in better. But that's only a minor issue. I'd recommend this backrest to anyone.
Great 2up seat
Very comfortable as rider, wife loves it as passenger. Good support. Only downside is that it unexpectedly moved me forward a couple inches from my last seat, which took some getting used too. Now that I've gone on several rides, it feels very natural.
This seat lowered me about an in, and it is more comfortable than the original seat. I can ride more than an hour at a time now.
Wish I had bought it when I first got the bike. It allowed me to keep my legs in closer keeping my hip from hurting and put my feet more solid on the ground.

I like the seat so far, it sits the rider forward and a little lower. Haven't got to ride much because of the bad weather , so haven't got to break it in yet. It does feel like it's gonna be more comfortable.

Most uncomfortable seat ever made
Who in their right mine let this thing go in to production? Did anyone at the company actually sit on it? The designer or seat tester either A) Didn't have gonads, or B) Weighed 140 and had no butt.<br /><br />Got it and put it on. I'm 5'7 and had hoped to get a little better footing and a smoother ride for the wife. Went for a ride Saturday. Roughly two hours each way. That was the longest two hours back home I have ever done.<br /><br />It did move me forward a little bit, at the expense of my gonads and only having 1 sitting position. There is no re-arranging or adjusting on this dang thing. I got to dreading any stop where I had to put my feet down due to the squishing effects on my crown jewels. I literally could not see the nose of the seat when riding. My butt and junk took up every inch of room front to back.<br /><br />It's supposed to lower you. Well, it didn't. It raised me. The top of my windsplitter windshield went from great to useless at my new ride height. I took a lot more bugs to the helmet. As far as planting my feet I didn't gain or lose anything really other than a smashed set of jewels.<br /><br />Oh, the wife loved the cushion on the back. The only redeeming feature of it. Though, she was not happy by the time we got home. The rear pad raised her way up. She liked being able to see. She was even able to peek over my shoulder and see how fast I was going. She thought I was speeding as the wind beat her face to death which ruined it for her. It was around 95 outside with high humidity so we had the face shields off.<br /><br />At any rate. Don't buy this seat fellas. Im taking it off with a couple hundred miles on it and selling it. I'd be tempted to burn the cursed thing if it wasn't so dad gum expensive. I'm gonna feel bad selling it knowing what the poor sap that buys it is in for.

This drivers backrest is very comfortable. A little expensive but so is everything you get for a Harley.

Fast shipment. Seat seems to be made very well. Only concern would be when the backrest is pushed all the way down the nut digs into the passenger seat which does have a small spot of extra cushion right where the nut hits so hope it does not cut the seat. Seat did not seem to lower me much if at all.

Went from a Harley reach seat to the Mustang low, sit a bit higher with the Mustang seat. Still breaking it in, about 200 miles, so far it?s stiff feeling.
I put this on a 2012 FLHTK got my feet on the ground now without lowering my suspension. The fit and finish is great very comfortable seat. It fits well along the frame and the tank very well made seat super happy with this purchase.

Looks and fits great. But most importantly it's very comfortable. This is my 2nd Mustang seat. They make long rides (600-800 mile) easy.
This seat is really comfortable and is a good improvement over stock. My passenger especially loves it, the back is at least twice as wide as stock if not slightly more. I will agree with the other commenters that I do not sit any lower, though, despite the description.
The seat fits great ,looks good and well built. Only question I have is the pad under seat cover has a defect of some sort,after riding for awhile the seat cover has crease in it .Should not be problem but time will tell. Could not see problem until after use ,then too late to return.
Very nice seat. Had for couple weeks. Still needs broken in. Did not lower me an 1 1/2". Maybe cause it's not broken in. Wife LOVES her spot on the seat. Helps relieve the pressure off her legs
Installed easily on my '08 Roadking CVO. Seat moves you closer by 1-2", which is perfect for me being 5' 9". Passenger is happy with 14" wide rear seat; stock is only 10" wide.

The seat is better then the stock one from my 2013 ultra limited. Just did a 900 mile run and felt great and no back aches which I complained about from the stock seat and both my feet on the ground. Great job Mustang.

Good quality seat, great craftsmanship. Lowered me about 1 inch and I feel like it moved me forward about an inch. Not as comfortable with feet on the ground as the stock seat however that's not what its meant for, when feet are on the boards the difference in comfort is huge. If you have a low profile rider backrest you may have some difficulty mounting it back up with the seat being so wide however with some patience it can happen. Strongly recommend purchasing a your pack if you don't have one already. Mounted on a 2017 FLHX Street Glide.

Pretty disappointed in the 224-054 Mustang One-Piece LowDown Touring Seat with Backrest. Only barely better than the HD lowered seat I replaced. We were in pain after an hour of riding. Didn't improve after 3000 miles of saddle time. Not happy that there is no return once mounted. $665 for a failed seat doesn't make me happy.
Definitely effective at helping my heels reach the ground. Pushes me forward towards the tank a bit, which is OK. I actually prefer the position this seat holds me in. It also seems to hold my but in place on the seat a little more than the stock seat. I have not taken it out on a long ride yet, so I cannot describe the comfort.<br />Only complaint right now is that they need to re-engineer the mounting. The back of the passenger seat bubbles out over the hole where it screws to the rear fender. With my tour pack on the back of the bike, it makes it very difficult to screw the seat down.
This seat is way more comfortable than the stock seat. It's especially easy on the passenger. I ha pave over 100,000 miles on the stock seat. Next time I'll swap seats at time of purchase.
Great seat! Fit my '05 Road King Custom EFI perfectly. It slipped<br />on in five minutes. No fooling around, just whiff/wham/zap, DONE! Now my feet reach the ground instead of my toes. No more frustrating cycle drops.
This is the fourth Mustang Seat I have owned. Quality is superior to factory original as well as other aftermarket seats I have owned. The Softail I traded for my Road Glide had an eight year old Mustang Seat which still looked brand new with thirty thousand miles on it.

Seems like a well made and good seat. It is much harder than the OEM seat but I think that is by design. It is becoming more comfortable with use. It doesn't really lower the rider. If it does its fractions of an inch. It is narrower than the OEM.
Did not like the small braid down the side. Felt that it gave it too much of a Western feel

I ordered this seat because it stated that it would lower the rider by 1.5 inches. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It may have been 1/2 inch. I'm not even sure of that.
Very happy with the comfort, it moved me back a little which I really like but don't feel it lowered me like it said it would!
Definitely pushes me 1 1/2" closer to my handlebars. But lowers me only about 1/2".

Great seat, unfortunately it was no lower than my 2012 Road King stock seat. Found out HD lowered touring seats around 2010. Was able to return it, no problem, since it was still in new condition.

I had to get a "reach type" seat for my road glide. It sits me down further and pushes me up closer to the controls. This is the best seat made - period.
