When it comes to seat screws this has to be one of the best. Fully reversible! Turn it to the right and it goes in and turn it to the left and it comes out. Made out of metal makes it truly durable. This makes my bike truly original with out the tacky look of a factory seat screw. Please keep in mind you'll need to carry a quarter in order to use the "Quarter Turn" feature.
Stop jacking around with the screwdriver. I've had this about 2 years now and don't miss feeding the big philips down between the seat and seat back. Finger tight with this is all it has required. Big enough for the fat fingers to grip it in and out.
I got this great-looking screw to replace the boring phillips head stock seat screw on my 2017 Dyna Street Bob. I get a lot of compliments on it even from people in cagers next to me when I'm stopped at a light!

Ordered it for my sporty but did not fit. Its to big. Put on my king and im very happy. It stays put with the nylon washer and is easy to remove.

Replaced the phillips screw with this thumb screw. Looks better and easier to grab and remove to pull the seat. It is beefy enough to grab so you don't really need a quarter or screw driver. No more fender scratches.

So, I'm reviewing a screw. I gave it all high marks. This should tell you that this thing is really worth it. For just over $7, it is a pricey screw, but it really adds to the look of my Street Bob. It certainly overshadows the bland, phillips head screw that held my seat before. This is very high quality. Buy it for your seat. I t looks cool, and feels as though it is of the utmost quality. Did you expect any less from Mustang? I didn't.

Fits well, good threads and knurling and the inclusion of a plastic washer was a good idea.<br />Chroming anything seems to add 50% to the cost at a hardware store so the price really isn't bad at all.

Does what it says. It's a seat bolt.
This screw will NOT work if your bike has a stock luggage rack on the rear fender, like on my 1995 Springer Bad Boy. The slotted screw head diameter is too large, hits (is blocked by) the front edge chrome of the luggage rack which offsets the screw enough to make it impossible to screw it into the fender hole.<br />I took it to my bench grinder, removed nearly a 1/2" off the diameter, before I could use it. Of course it looks like crap now - no big deal.
Pretty straight forward. FYI I did add a couple washers to make it look more flush. Good quality, looks much better than stock.

If you need a seat bolt, this will do. Wash using an actual bolt, so this makes switching my seats out way easier. Provides quick access to under your seat.
The only reason I did not give it a 5 is because; Each time you take the seat screw off, you MUST be aware of the plastic O-ring falling on the ground (and possibly losing it). My other bike has a stock metal star O-ring which never comes off---much better.
The seat screw worked perfectly when nothing else would.
If you don?t have any change you can always use your finger nail LoL very convenient.

Chrome / polish looks good and worth the $$. Minor issue on the first few threads / had to file it slightly to clean it up ( 3 seconds of work ) and it fit perfectly. ( had thought I bought the wrong thread size but it was the thread ends )
Tighten it once hasn't fell off check it every now and then still holding on strong

Seat screw to big for seat mount nut.
The quarter turn seat screw was an easy swap out. Larger head, with a knurled edge, makes it easy to grip and turn. The slotted head is sized to allow any US Quarter to be used for tightening or removing it. Easy, simple, and it works. Looks better than the standard oem bolt head too.

I tried one of these before and it vibrated off. Hopefully I was able to tighten this one enough to keep it in place.
Looks good and no install issues, though the head is a bit oversized and rubs against the back of my Mustang Super Touring Deluxe seat. Over time, with repeated/extended 2-up riding, it could rub a hole in the leather. A $9 part has the potential ruin a $600 seat...<br /><br />Thankfully I don't ride 2-up often, and expect to remove the seat even less, though it is something to be aware of.

The material was disappointing.. As soon as I removed it from the packaging I noticed surface rust within the slot. I do not expect the finish to last very long.. The material is also very soft so be careful! I used a wide flathead to give it a good snug turn after installing by hand and it still mashed up the metal pretty well. It works well and I like the idea, just expected more from Mustang.

I was tired fighting with the stock seat hold down screw on my 2003 FLHTCUI so I decided to try this quarter turn thumb screw. What a difference! No long Phillips head screwdriver required anymore. You can tighten it with your fingers and give it an extra 1/2 turn if you have a quarter handy! Chrome finish is excellent even though on the Ultra you never see it. Great little product!!!
