No more OEM seat!
Was deciding between the Saddlemen Renegade Solo and the Mustang Solo. Reviews I came across regarding seat comfort of both seats were overwhelming positive. End up opting for Mustang based on the style. Was initially hesitant because there was no info on the seat cushion for the Mustang whereas Saddlemen touts about their saddle gel. First ride with Mustang Solo was a super comfortable 4 hour ride. Typically would be feeling the OEM saddle after only 2 hours.

Missed the mark
Comfortable seat. pros Looks good and will work with Fat Boy 2019 pillion. Cons moved me to far forward felt like around 2 inches right up on the tank I do have long legs, it also hit the wrong spot for my tailbone. decided to stick with the Saddlemen explorer seat, I do not care for the look of the passenger pillion but the seat on the explorer for me is spot on.

Looks great could be more comfortable.
Looks great and is better than factory HD 2018 FatBoy. Not very comfortable on long rides. Older Mustangs seats I have used were more comfortable. This will set you forward an inch or two. I am a big guy and older so the younger riders may not have the same issue. For the money I expected more comfort.

Very comfortable seat right out of the box. I love my saddlemen I’ve had it for 2 years, but there is no getting around it’s a very firm seat. This mustang feels squishier and immediately better cushion. My wife prefers the mustang hands down. Longs rides the mustang is the winner. Anything under 3hrs the saddlemen has no issues. Butt for the long haul this mustang can’t be beat.
