No issues when mounting. Nice lower lumbar support. Back rest. If I new it felt so good, I would have upgraded a long time ago.

Wife loves the new seat. Wasn't 100 percent sure on it when she first sat it, but one ride and shes sold. Has such a better look than the stock seat as well. The stock seat has no raise up in the back part of the seat, so in theory you can slide off onto the rear fender. This seat keeps you planted, and is very comfy.

The back rest is awsome I would like it better if it would recline back farther but all in all complete comfort goes together with my 18 inch apes perfect

100% improvement over the saddleman seat that I had purchased and regretted from day one. Only have maybe 50 miles on this so far and am amazed at the difference. I'm sure it only going to get more comfortable after it gets broke in.

My wife says she can tell an instant improvement over the saddleman seat that we regretted buying from day one.

I bought this seat for my wife’s 05 Heritage Softail, and she loves it. She says her rear ended no longer hurts even on short rides. I would recommend it to anyone.

I works well with the Mustang Solo. Would not fit on my stock seat which was a bummer. But the seats together are awesome!

This is the seat you've been wanting! At 64 yrs old with a long history of back issues, I've found this to be one of the best seats I've owned in my 50 yrs of riding.

JPCycle Customer service and info was timely and very helpful - as always. The seat is lower profile than OEM, reduced nose than OEM, more comfortable ride... This is the 4th Mustang seat I have purchased over the years for various motorcycles. Never disappoints.

Wider, higher and more padding than OEM, passenger can see over my helmet - a comfortable passenger makes for a more pleasant ride...

I had to modify the brackets that con,e t to the driver's seat in order to allow the seat to work. It now looks and feels great. My wife is finally comfortable riding on the bike. Lots of cushion and wide.

This seat does not fit a stock 2006 fat boy as advertised needed major mods to fit . Do your research before you buy one .hesitant of future purchases

Put on a 2004 Soft Tail Classic. Fit great....once you remove the original helicoils from the frame.

Seat looks awesome, one hole didn’t line up but with a little work got it to where I needed it, wife said it very comfy

I have this model of Mustang seat on my Road King and my Softail Springer. At 71 years old, I rely on Mustang to keep me riding more hous per day.

Day 1 review on a 2002 night train. Easy to install,looks good. As others have stated it DOES change your ride position, however it is night and day more comfortable then stock seat. The biggest negative is that my *** has not found its home in the seat yet. This is a 20 mile review

Great passenger seat works great with seat part number 800-316. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Like the look and the studs make it stand out. It fits well with the exception of the driver backrest with the passenger seat. The angle between the two pushes the backrest adjustment knob digging into the front of the passenger seat and would eventually tear the leather on the front of the passenger seat. I have opted to not use the backrest when I have the passenger seat on, so I effectively have a $18?.00 driver backrest I can't use unless I'm riding alone...? Would have been some useful "technical" advice before I ordered it, or the suggestion that maybe a one-piece seat works with the beckrest better..?

For 2006 Heritage Softail. Very comfortable, firm seat. Backrest works great and is easy to adjust and remove. Good for 2-3 hours riding. Not happy with the fit to the bike. When used with passenger pillion I had to order extended rear tongue. Even then it was difficult to get the side mount brackets and the rear mounting screw to line up. Overall a decent looking seat.

This Mustang seat is excellent. I put it on and headed out for a 600 mile ride. I never looked back. The seat kept me totally comfortable the entire time. No extended gas stops or other breaks along the way. I am 5'6" or so and about 250lbs. The wide seat may actually be too wide for me? If that's possible. I see marks that might be from stopping and having my feet touch the ground. And it might feel a little wide in the thigh area when stopped. I ride a 2000 Fat Boy. I almost went with a stock Harley Heritage seat. I had a 2003 Heritage. But that stock seat, even tho it looks great, wasn't anywhere near as comfortable as this Mustang. I would ache in the lower back and butt. I'm glad I bought the Mustang.

Purchased the wide pillion with the wide solo seat (800-331) and installed on a 2002 FLFTSI. Main reason for purchase was to provide my wife with a more comfortable pillion for a 3,000 mile adventure. I kept the OEM seat to switch back for regular riding. Day 1 of the install I honestly didn't care for the seat. It was stiff and the pillion poked into my back and I didn't like the large look on the bike. My wife however loved it. My mood changed after the seat broke in, which was about 1,000 miles of normal daily riding over the next week. I began to like the seat. After the 3,000 mile ride there's no way I'm going back to the OEM seat! Extremely comfortable and for really long days also used an AirHawk for added comfort. Though I do still prefer the streamlined look of a lower profile seat, this seat has turned my Fat Boy into a touring bike. I now even like the back support offered by the pillion, particularly during high speed highway riding without the windshield.

Super comfortable after it breaks in. Back rest is great after you get used to having one. Flip back rest down to keep seat a lot cooler when parking bike in sun. Have had this for 5 years. Still looks new. '06 FLSTFI

This seat fits perfect.. ordered this after the saddleman solo seat brackets i ordered had to be drilled to fit.. this fits like a glove and looks great

Brackets need the ability to make small adjustments. Brackets to close together so it would not slip on the frame.<br />Drilled out the holes a little larger and was able to make it work fine.

Perfect fit on my 2003 FLSTC. Looks real nice. A little firm on my butt right now, but that is probably because 1) I need to get it broken in, and 2) my old seat is 55,000 miles/10 years old and was a little too broken in!

Put this one on my '01 FLSTF. Great look and very comfortable. I find this one more comfortable than the H-D Sundowner seat. Recommended if you like that old-school look.

Very confortable for my passenger for long rides.

The seat feels like it could use more padding up forward. With the back rest I don't feel like I am siting on the main portion of the seat, but forward. I love the backrest.
