Replaced stock seat on my 2018 sport Glide. Have not riden yet with new seat but put a mustang on my last motorcycle and it was comfortable. Just sitting on the bike I cannot feel a huge difference in riding position. Might put me a little closer to my bars but nothing dramatic.
Great seat. 100% better than stock. Much easier to ride 200 miles than 100 miles and looks a lot better as well.
I've only had this seat installed for about a week, and I ordered specifically for the back support. Excellent look and support. Install is as simple as loosening a screw and bolt to remove the stock one-piece HD seat for my Sport Glide; and positioning and tightening a screw to replace. I followed Lemme's recommendation of threading a string (in this case I used a quick tie) to hold the housing/bolt that you have to move forward under the fender. Entire installation took about 4 minutes. I can't speak to the durability since I've had it for such a short time. But the materials feel and look quality.<br />Did not change my rider position, and the comfort and support from the seat- specifically the back rest is fantastic. The back rest is easily adjustable, and just as easy to remove and store.
No break in period. Comfortable right off the bat. Looks are subjective, comfort is not. Either it is or it isn't. This seat, besides looking great, is very comfortable.
The combo solo and passenger seats are great for those long rides. I installed them on my Low Rider that had stock seats, and my ride got a lot more comfortable. For the rider seat, it gave me not only the comfort but also a small back support for a better riding position. For the passenger seat, my wife loved it, the wide cushion helps spread the pressure points and avoid the bone crushing she felt with the stock seat.<br />It was a great investment.
