So far so good
Without a doubt this seat is much more comfortable than stock. I got the version with the backrest, and while I like the look without the backrest a bit better, I do believe the comfort of the backseat is worth giving up a bit of cool factor. So far the longest ride I've done on the seat was about 150 miles, but it ended up a very easy, restful 150 miles because of the seat. I'd be much more tired and strained in a stock seat after that distance. <br />The installation on my 2020 HD Street Bob was, as Lemmy would say, barely a mustache on the scale. Unscrew the stock seat, put the Mustang seat on, screw it back. If it takes you more than 3 minutes, you're doing it WRONG. <br />The seat looks great on the bike; perfect fit, doesn't stick out, really no difference as compared to stock.<br />My only complaint would be the price of the seat with the backrest. It's roughly $170 extra as compared to the price without, bumping the price up by almost 60%. Seems a bit steep. However, as I said above, the backrest helps in making the seat more comfortable.<br />It's hard to compare this seat to a myriad of other seats out there in terms of comfort unless one rides them all. And that's not even factoring even various people's shapes and sizes. But for me, the looks, the price, and the comfort make this one a definite "recommend".
Worked great, until it didn't
First and foremost I have to admit the seat is WAY more comfortable than stock. I wrote a review 2 years ago when I bought it detailing a lot more, but in short, it allows me to be on the bike for 100-150 miles per day longer without the aches pains, and discomfort of the stock seat. I did get the backrest, which makes the cost disproportionately more expensive and takes away a bit of the cool factor from the bike. However, it adds so much more comfort, and it's definitely worth it. <br /><br />Why only 2 stars then? Well after 2 years and about 6k miles, the rivets/studs/pins (call them what you want) on the back of the seat that hold the little plate that screws onto the fender, BROKE IN HALF. So basically, the seat can longer be screwed onto the fender and it can no longer be used. On top of that, that little plate got rusted on the bottom and damaged/caused rust on the fender on the side where it touched it. So, not only was the seat only good for 2 years, it actually damaged my bike!<br /><br />In retrospect, I'm actually quite shocked at the cheap construction of the seat at its most critical point, where it attaches to the bike and is meant to hold in place for years to come. No wonder they offer a warranty only for 1 year! <br /><br />If you're OK to pay over $400 to be comfortable for 2 years and risk scratching up/rusting up your rear fender, this seat might be for you. If not, perhaps there is something else out there more durable.

Mustang Wide Tripper Solo And Passenger Seat
This seat is a must have for a man. The factory seat rises in the middle and is painful<br />on your jewels. This seat also helps with your lower back with the backrest.<br />Thinking about putting one on my wide glide also.

I like the material it is made out of but the seat could be a little bit narrower. It is a comfortable seat though.
I guess I was expecting too much from seat. I took it on a ride of 220 miles and it was an improvement over the seat that came on my FXST standard still have not had it long enough to give an honest opinion

Great purchase. It's a quality seat and easy to install. I love the look it gives my 20 HD Street Bob. I also got the papillon pad and completely satisfied with it too.
Highly disappointed in quality. I've ordered this seat before a few years ago, one for a sportster and one for a dyna- those were great! Seems the quality has gone down, as it doesn't offer the same support and the stitch work is a bit crooked. If you are going for looks, it does look good. I will probably try to redo the seat cushion to add better foam or a gel insert. If that doesn't work, I will be getting a different seat.

I bought this seat to replace the stock seat on my 2019 Harley Street Bob. The stock seat sucked. The Mustang Wide Tripper Solo seat is very comfortable. my only worry is the back rest. the screw that adjusts the lean is not secured on both sides. the metal "flat bar" just rests against it and you adjust the angle by screwing it in more or in less. I'm afraid over time it is going to wear down the screw....
Love the seat. Waited until I put a couple Hundred miles on it before writing the review. I'm 5'9 and ride a 2018 street bob. I feel like I sit just a little bit higher than with the stock seat. Definitely provides a comfortable ride.
