About NAMZ Custom Cycle

NAMZ Custom Cycle builds plug-and-play wiring harnesses, extension kits and electrical components for Harley-Davidson. Its handlebar extension and connector kits are what make an ape hanger or bagger bar swap a bolt-in job instead of a splicing project.

Swapping handlebars on your 2008-2013 Harley-Davidson FL bagger with throttle-by-wire requires precise electrical solutions. The NAMZ Custom Cycle 12-inch Throttle-By-Wire Extension Harness provides the necessary length to accommodate aftermarket handlebars without compromising your electronic throttle control. This plug-and-play solution ensures your bike's electronics function flawlessly.

Why riders pick this

  • Extends throttle-by-wire harness for custom bars
  • 12-inch extension length for optimal routing
  • Plug-and-play installation for easy setup
  • Compatible with 2008-2013 Harley Touring models
  • Works with all aftermarket handlebar styles
  • Tested for seamless electronic throttle function

Unlike older cable-driven throttles, modern throttle-by-wire systems require a dedicated electrical extension when changing handlebar heights. NAMZ Custom Cycle has engineered this harness to meet that exact need, ensuring your throttle response remains crisp and consistent. Each harness is rigorously tested to work without interference, providing peace of mind during and after installation.

Seamless Electronic Throttle Integration

  • 12-inch extension harness for added reach
  • Plug-and-play installation, no cutting or splicing required
  • Engineered and tested for throttle-by-wire compatibility
  • Works with all aftermarket handlebar styles
  • Maintains factory electronic throttle functionality

Upgrade Your Bagger with Confidence

When you're customizing your Harley Touring model, every component counts. This NAMZ extension eliminates the guesswork and complexity of extending your throttle-by-wire system, making your handlebar upgrade straightforward. Riders can confidently install their preferred aftermarket handlebars, knowing their critical throttle control is handled by a purpose-built, reliable component designed for 2008-2013 FL baggers.

Will this work with any aftermarket handlebars?

Yes, this extension works with all aftermarket handlebar styles, provided your bike is a 2008-2013 FL model with throttle-by-wire.

Is installation difficult?

This is a plug-and-play harness, designed for straightforward installation. However, proper routing and securing of wiring are always recommended for a clean and safe setup.

Plug and Play

I was looking at this product vs others where you have to cut/splice/solder the handlebar wiring. I have done that before and know how to, but these NAMZ wires allowed me to bypass all that. Truly plug and play.<br /><br />I have a 2016 sportster 48 - I still had to lift up the tank a bit to get at the wires underneath, but these extensions worked great. If it helps anyone working on their sportster, you won't need these if you are installing 10 inch or shorter bars.

Easy to install. Plug and Play all the way.

Bought this for my 2016 Harley Roadster. Totally plug and play. Ran my wires inside the bar and risers and plug it to these extensions. Made my life easy. No soldering.

Save yourself the hassle

If you are thinking about it, DO IT. I spent zero time cutting, stripping, crimping, or anything real labor. Just plug and play.

Literally plug and play!

Literally plug and play! I have a 2015 Iron 883 and swapped my Biltwell Keystone Bars for a 12” LA Choppers Bourbon Bars. If you don’t internally wire it, stock lines would work. I wired it internally and was glad I purchased the Namz ready to install handlebar extension harness! <br />Instructions:<br />I had to removed the seat to loosen the bottom bolts of the tank, took off the bolts at the front of the tank and lifted it and removed the screw for the plastic cover of the wires. Literally—identify the wires then plug and play! Super easy install.<br />I got the 12” which was way too long but it still worked! Just tuck it in!

A must for handlebar changes

If you're changing your handlebars to taller bars these wire extenders are a must!! No cutting or soldering or guessing which wire goes where. These extenders are pure plug and play!! They come in three different sizes so you can get what you need without coming up short or way too long!

wire extensions

This is the only way to go if you don't want to cut and splice into your harness. Very simple plug and play instal. Quality connections; however, a bit pricey.
