Windshield
Great customer service! Easy order abd fast delivery.
National Cycle has manufactured motorcycle windshields in Illinois since 1937, using its own hardcoated Quantum polycarbonate. Windshield choice affects wind noise, buffeting and fatigue more than most riders expect, and National Cycle publishes real height and coverage data to get it right.
The National Cycle Mohawk windshield takes the classic flyscreen design and amps it up for better wind management without losing that minimalist, aggressive stance. Its V-profile shape is engineered to deflect more air than a flat screen, keeping you comfortable at speed.
This Mohawk windshield features a dark gray tint and is secured by a robust Linking Arm fork mount system with black hardware. Built from FMR hardcoated polycarbonate, it's designed to shrug off impacts and resist scratches, ensuring clear vision and lasting durability on the open road. It's a solid upgrade for riders seeking both style and functional wind protection.
The Mohawk windshield is ideal for riders who want more wind protection than a small flyscreen but prefer a less bulky profile than a full fairing. Its design complements the lines of many performance cruisers and V-twins, adding to the bike's aggressive styling while providing a noticeable improvement in rider comfort. Installation is designed to be accessible, allowing you to get back on the road quickly.
Will this windshield fit my specific Harley or Indian V-twin?
This Mohawk windshield uses an adjustable Linking Arm fork mount system designed to fit most motorcycles with open front forks. We recommend using our Shop by Bike tool to confirm fitment for your exact model before ordering.
Is the installation process complex?
Installation is designed to be straightforward, with the Linking Arm system adapting to various fork tube diameters. All necessary black mounting hardware is included, making it a bolt-on upgrade for most compatible bikes.
How does this windshield improve riding comfort?
The V-profile design of the Mohawk windshield is engineered to better manage and deflect wind away from the rider compared to flatter screens. This results in reduced wind buffeting and a more comfortable experience, especially at higher speeds.

1978 Kawasaki KZ 1000 windshield makes really nice on the 30 degree days.
The National Cycle Pexistar Windshield Faring Kit is exactly what I was looking for. It was packed properly so it was not damaged when it arrived. It installed quickly with good instructions. It makes the bike much more enjoyable to ride!
Got this fairing for an ‘81 Suzuki GS750L—it’s tough to find aftermarket parts for a bike this age, but the plexistar fits perfect. Very easy to install; solid, well-made. Looks great on the bike and was critical for deflecting all the cicadas on the east coast! I highly recommend!
