Makes a huge difference
Installed 9" tall light tint on a 2017 Street Glide Special and it makes a world of difference. I am 6'4" tall and the wind buffeting around my head is greatly reduced and there is almost none in my face. It does not affect my line of sight and looks like it came stock on the bike. Keep in mind when they say light tint they really mean light tint as in almost none.

I am 6' tall with a long torso and short legs. The stock 5" windshield was blasting me in the face. The 7.25" National Cycle VStream Windshield is aesthetically pleasing, quality and functional. Coupled with a La Pera Super Villain Seat (On order which which will lower me 1") I will have 3.25" of additional coverage over stock. It should be perfect (for me) on my 2016 Harley Street Glide Special.

This windshield does exactly what it is designed to do, shield your from the wind. My daily commute is 30 miles to work and 30 back and with the stock I was constantly getting buffering as well as the occasional road debris and when it rained I felt that there was no relief or protection at all. I've put around 300 miles on the V-stream and the difference is night and day. My biggest concern was it distortion if I had to look through the shield itself but it's as clear as the factory shield. I have the smoked shield and day or night it is clear vision. Install to 5 minutes and three screws no instruction needed.
great visibilty
While you are not supposed to look through your screen, with the light tint you get all the benefit of a shield, but dont sacrifice visibilty or a shortened view from the blacked out sheild. It does absoluty stop the wind hitting you straight in the face. The one thing to keep in mind, is the negative air space created by the shield causes the air from below to rush in to fill the void so fairing deflectors might be wanted by some.

I don't think it does divert any more air than my original windscreen. The clarity is still very good and better than stock.

I am right at 6 foot tall and the stock windshield for the Street Glide was too short. I chose to try this one because the price was about half of the factory Harley and the look is a bit different. I am glad I did. The wind goes right over my head perfectly and a buddy of mine even commented how the windshield hit exactly where the commercials advertise. <br />Very happy customer!!

National Cycle VStream Windshield
This windshield is fantastic on my 2021 Street Glide. The way the wind is deflected away from my helmet is great and no buffetting, l am thrilled. I got the light tinted one because the original factory windshield was too dark for night riding. It's like l have a new bike!!

Windshield arrived promptly and well packaged. Thanks.<br />I was skeptical about the function but after 500 miles, it seems to direct airflow much better than the stock Harley batwing windshield. It is shorter and narrower but works well. Light tint is a plus.

National cycle V-stream windshield
I like it much better because the old one on the bike when I bought it was dark dark tinted. Looked good but I noticed difficult to see through on a cloudy day. This one is lightly tinted but easier to see through. Only negative thing I can say about the shield is I don't believe it has less turbulence nor is any quieter than stock 7" windshield.
Its the best thing I've done to my bike yet. It smoothed out the air flow alot

So far so good there is a little bit of distortion in the bins that aggravates my eyes, but I think I’ll get used to it in time
Goes on easy
Installation was pretty easy. Did not use the supplied black screw for the center hole. Mine are chrome and the right length. Well packaged to protect during shipping. Some fairing bags may not fit well due to shape of the windscreen. Have not rode since installation, unable to determine if it functions as described, Maybe provide more feedback at a later date.

I love the VStream windscreen. Took me less than a minute to install. The wind has been greatly reduced as I ride and the stereo system sound is better. I highly recommend this windscreen.

This was a replacement to the stock wind screen on my 2015 Street Glide. Little taller than the stock one. Fits perfect. Easy install.

After purchasing 2 other windscreens which were of very nice quality, although did not fix my buffeting problem ( 2021 Street Glide), I ordered the National 7.5"...<br />And I'm so happy I did, It is virtually clear ( love that ) and fixed 99% of the buffeting around town ( 55 mph and under) and maybe 90% of the buffeting on speeds 55 mph and over. Very happy with this purchase. Would even consider the 9.5" for a long haul. Highly reccomend.

Love these windshields, I have one on my 2002 ultra classic and on my 2014 tri glide, they look great and they do a great job cutting down on buffeting.

Don?t like it and have ordered a Memphis Shade to put on Order a 6 1/2 ? and I?m 5?7? and at 65 mph wind is hitting me in the forehead. Lesson learned.
Great shield that does a good job managing the buffeting that takes place above 50 or so. My only complaint is it looks much darker in the pictures than it actually is. When you buy something at 7 1/4 inches, you aren’t buying it to look through, so the fact that the tint is lighter kinda sucked. But it does a good job creating a “clean air pocket” for its height. I’m about 6’ and it’s pretty comfortable.

Great windsheild! I had the 2in shorter version with the dark tint but a new seat put me up a few inches so I needed something taller. I wish they would make a darker tint on the taller windshields but otherwise I love it!

I wear glasses, so the stock windshield got right in the line of vision. This one moves down about 3 in where I can see everything on the road with no distractions. It only took about 5 minutes to take the old one off and install this one. It's got a sunglass tent on it and looks good. I'm Harley Rider, and I highly encourage you to pick this windshield.

What 1st caught my eye was the continuation of the lines from the faring up into the windshield. It looks great on the bike. No more buffeting and far less noise...love this windshield and I looked for days!

I've owned two of these windshields on different bikes and have had no problems wind is funneled to the sides and not over my head the lite tint is easy to see the road at night .

I was skeptical about how it would work. I am extremely pleased with how much air goes over my head now. The radio is easier to hear and it looks good. It was a great purchase and it fits like original equipment.

Great fitment, works perfectly well. But...<br />Tint was too light. Have to hold it just right to tell it's tinted. Should be described as extremely light tint. Would prefer more tint.
Windsheild broken after one month, and return defective part from Canada is complicated
Ordered for my 14 Street Glide Special, received in 3 days, fit right on. Is almost clear, but I can live with that. I'm 5'11" and turbulent air goes over my helmet, while I'm looking over windshield. Very pleased!
The light tint is great if you ride much at night and the height is just right it blocks the wind but not your vision.

Works great keeps the wind out of my face it's real clear and i can listen to my radio and hear it now. I had tried other windshields but this one really works. It looks real good to. I am very happy.
At 6' tall it works great to get to buffeting out of my face and cut down on air noise so I can hear the radio at speed without having to crank it way up.
