Do it!
Installed on a 2006 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob. Bought these on a recommendation from a buddy and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. It is the most dramatic difference in handling and ride-ability. Install was easy, my advice is to use a moto jack from the center of the bike and let the rear tire hang, that way you can install the new taller shocks without issue. I got the 13.39 heavy duty shocks and its super plush and not too tall. 5'9'' 285lbs 30in inseam and still flat foot. Pricey but well worth it!
Best suspension upgrade for the $$$
Upgraded from stock. Makes the bike sit up higher and the forks actually handle better due to a more upright positioning. After setting up sag, havent had to touch for adjustments at all. Overall great product/ highly recommended upgrade!
Forget about Legends
I love these shocks! I work in a Harley dealer and get to ride bikes with all kinds of suspension setups. I see countless bikes with legends and I am so confused by how many riders will be so quick to dump $900+ on a set of average shocks. They aren't bad, just not worth $700 or $900... I chose to run öhlins because they have the same features as the legends, are more adjustable, and are hundreds cheaper. Plus Öhlins are just as OG as it gets. The ride quality is superb! I cannot compliment and promote these shocks enough. I will forever run Öhlins on all of my bikes from this day forward!
Ohlins shocks
Easy install, tremendously transforms the ride of a Dyna. Best bang for the buck stock style shocks out there.
Ohlins Rear Shocks
Great shocks. Installation instructions weren?t any good but of you need instructions to install shocks you probably shouldn?t be wrenching in the first place
Great quality for the price. Bike rides great. Bought the Heavy spring as I?m 230 lb and my girl rides with sometimes. Combined we have 380 lbs and bike rides great.
Love these shocks!
Night and day difference!! My harsh rear suspension is gone! Would totally recommend these shocks...
great suspension
Awesome parts definitely recommend!!!
Better but not quite there yet.
Bought these for my 2009 Dyna FXDF to get the lumber wagon type ride out of it. I bought the heavy duty shocks following the mgf suggestions on weight as I mostly ride two up. While they do ride better my 1978 Suzuki GS750 still put it to shame. I just replaced the front springs with progressive standard duty and fresh Harley type "E" oil and that helped a lot. To be fair I'm still trying to work out the proper adjustment. Following the directions for setting sag made them too stiff for me. I probably should have spent more and got dampening adjustment.
Love them
Only had them on for a week but what a world of difference I installed them on a 01 wide glide wish I had done them way sooner
Cush for your tush!
Swapped out Mt Progressive 412 11" shocks for the 12" standard and holy cow, what a difference. The 412s were beating me up over every bump or defect in the road while the Ohlins just soak them up. I'm just over 200lbs and the factory setup left nothing to be desired. Great shocks!! Wish I hadn't waited 3 years to get them.
Performance, look and money
For a smooth ride, nice look and payable!
