Performance Machine Brakes
Been using PM Brakes since 1988, wouldn't have anything else. Put them on my 2010 FXSTC with no problems...
Performance Machine has machined American V-twin brakes, wheels and controls in California since 1970. Its calipers, rotors and matched controls are a benchmark for riders upgrading braking performance and appearance on the same pass.
These Performance Machine billet aluminum brake calipers are precisely machined from solid stock to eliminate flex and reduce unsprung weight, offering a significant upgrade in braking performance for your Harley-Davidson. Each caliper is dyno-tested to ensure consistent stopping power and seamless compatibility with ABS systems.
When you demand more from your V-twin, your braking system needs to keep up. Performance Machine's billet aluminum brake calipers are designed to do just that. By machining the calipers from a solid block of aluminum, the inherent flex of cast components is removed, providing a firmer lever feel and more predictable braking under all conditions. This translates to greater confidence and control, especially when pushing your bike to its limits.
Whether you're riding a Dyna, Softail, or Touring model, these Performance Machine calipers are a direct bolt-on replacement for 2000-2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Their design ensures a clean integration with your factory setup, providing a noticeable improvement in braking performance without extensive modifications. For optimal results, consider pairing these calipers with new brake pads and rotors designed for performance applications.
Are these calipers compatible with my Harley's ABS system?
Yes, Performance Machine designed these calipers to work seamlessly with both ABS and non-ABS equipped Harley-Davidson models in the 2000-2017 year range.
Will these fit my 2018 or newer Milwaukee-Eight Harley?
No, this caliper is specifically for 2000-2017 Harley-Davidson models. 2018 and newer Milwaukee-Eight bikes utilize a different brake caliper mount and require different parts.
Do these calipers require a brake hose upgrade?
While these calipers are a direct replacement, it's always recommended to confirm brake line routing and ABS module compatibility with Performance Machine or your trusted shop before installation, especially if your current lines are worn.

I installed this on my 2013 Softail Deluxe , which came from the factory with what must be the worst brakes ever made. I tried to improve the lousy front brake via better pads and stain!ess steel lines first, neither of which made much of a difference.

This caliper made the difference. It stops smooth and easy if you're easy on the brakes and digs in if you grab a handful. The pads that came with if seem fine, although they don't bite all that hard until you get them hot.

Install was easy. The caliper comes with some shims you'll need to get the caliper centered on the rotor. It took me some trial and error, but nothing difficult and I had it on and bled in probably under an hour.

If you have a Harley with crappy brakes, this caliper is the fix!
Amazing
These calipers once properly installed are quite an improvement from OEM. Can stop the bike with 2 fingers and have far more control with pressure on the lever. Be sure when installing to shim the caliper correctly inline with the rotor and be patient when bleeding with DOT5 to get all the air bubbles out. Initial feel is softer from OEM at the start when pulling the lever however firms up very nice and controllably soon after. Looks sharp with matching front and rears!
Fit well easy install. Works Great
NICE!!!!!!!!! These are brakes not Harley slowers!!!! I put them on a 2004 roadking very happy
