About Progressive

Progressive Suspension has focused exclusively on American V-twin suspension since 1982, and its Monotube fork cartridges and 400/970/970G shock series are among the most common upgrades on baggers and Softails. For most riders the stock rear shock is the single worst part on the bike — this is the fix.

Upgrade your Harley-Davidson's front end with Progressive Rate Fork Springs, engineered to deliver a superior ride. These springs are designed to absorb small road imperfections while maintaining firmness for larger impacts, drastically reducing front-end dive during braking without sacrificing overall comfort.

Why riders pick this

Will these springs reduce front-end dive?

Yes, the progressive rate design is specifically engineered to minimize front-end dive during braking, providing a more stable and controlled stop.

Are these springs a direct replacement?

Great Stock Replacement

Great replacement for stock, I ride an 05 XL that was clapped out in the front and when sat on the drop was close to bottoming out. I had to cut the PVC spcer in half to get the cap back on the top of the fork, but other than that the product is great. I replaced out with 20WT and when sitting on the bike it drops 1”1/2. Bike doesn’t dive under breaking and handles far better. Best bang for the buck without a total rebuild or spending thousands on inverted forks.
