Spyke 1.4kW High Torque Starter Chrome - Harley Big Twin (1989-1993, except FLH/T)

I've been dealing with a faulty start button on my dyna hand controls. Rather than deal with rewiring everything to track the problem down I picked up this little bad boy I have a spyke starter so this button was a perfect fit. Three screws and a little adjustment of the plunger depth and you're good to go. <br />The instructions that came in the package spell it out. So easy a caveman could do if. <br />Now I don't have to worry about my start button deciding to leave me stranded anymore. <br />If you have a spyke starter and you're on the fence about this part...buy it. It's worth the money and piece of mind.

The best laid plans.

Buyer be ware. The adjustable screw can come loose and strike your solenoid causing a shortage in your electrical system, complete with fire and breakdown. There is a lock screw but it obviously does not always hold. This product cost me a new starter, battery and afternoon.

Started getting click no start from starter two weeks ago. Today rode 273 miles handle bar switch worked once Starter Cover Button worked every time I needed it. This on my 90 Tour Glide.

But as far as the solenoid cover goes it worked out very well. Very easy to install Looks slick and I'm very happy with it. Bud don't use UPS they really pissed me off sat on my package for days right here in town.

Button fell off after a couple rides…don’t waste your money.

Stopped at the bank and when I went to start her the starter kept turning looked down and the butten was gone it fell out

The way the instructions go, it would pop right out. Had to add a washer to make it work.
