If you buy new and need to wait 1000 miles before remap. These slip ons are loud. To the point t a complete new exhaust has moved to the back burner on my upgrade wish list. Love them, highly recommend. Cannot go wrong.
Have been riding with the v&h hi outputs for over 2weeks now n they are a great upgrade from stock pipes. Nice deep sound n show quality looks. I'm taking the baffles out ASAP though I want to be loud. But it's nice to have the option.
Install took about an hour including removal of old pipes.<br />Sounds like you would expect a Harley to sound. Deep rumble and not to loud. I would recommend the purchase of a fuel pack to dial in performance.
These were fairly easy to install and made a difference in the sound. Definitely gives a Harley sound to the Ultra Glide along with a great look. Only thing that I didn't like so much was the yellowing of the tips of the pipes but im sure that will happen with just about any chrome pipes. Maybe should have gone with the black tips, but overall a very good product.
