About Vance and Hines

Vance & Hines has been building motorcycle exhaust since 1979 and has run factory-backed drag and King of the Baggers programs that feed straight back into its street products. Systems like the Torquer and the 2-into-1 designs are engineered around real dyno work, not just sound — which is why they show up on so many tuned Milwaukee-Eight and Twin Cam builds.

Featuring signature twin slash-cut tips and a large 4-inch round body, these slip-ons provide a classic cruiser tone. Common questions

Do these Twin Slash slip-ons require a fuel tuner or ECM mapping?

Slip-on mufflers alone typically do not require extensive fuel remapping. However, a fuel-air recalibration can improve overall performance and ensure optimal engine operation, especially if you have other modifications on your Harley-Davidson.

Will these slip-ons fit my 2023 or newer Harley-Davidson model?

No, these Vance & Hines Twin Slash slip-ons are specifically designed for 2017-2022 Harley-Davidson models. Bikes from 2023 and newer may have different exhaust configurations and typically require a different slip-on model.

What is the difference between the chrome and matte black finishes?

Both the chrome and matte black finishes offer the same Twin Slash design and performance. The difference is purely aesthetic, allowing you to choose the look that best complements your Harley-Davidson's style.

Great slip ons

These pipes are the 3rd set of slip ons I put on my 2021 Softail Standard. The 1st were Screamin Eagle slip ons -the bike ran great but they were too quiet -almost same as stock. The 2nd were TAB Performance with 2.25 baffles. Great sound with these but the bike ran ok with a Stage 1 tune with these -not great. Finally the Vance and Hines with PCX. They sound awesome , total badass so don't think the PCX , which is essentially at Catalytic converter, affects the sound --it does not -loud but not " Zombie". But most importantly the bike runs great with a Stage 1 tune. They are expensive but get it right in all aspects.

PCX tech sounds horrible!!

These new PCX slip ons sound horrible!!! The old ones were waaaay better.. still sound likes stock pipes really expensive stock pipes. I just put them on my HD Street Bob and I am soooooo disappointed. Vance and Hines PCX technology is the worst sounding garbage. Also super pain to install these

Decent

These slipons are decent. They are a good upgrade from stock. Quality seems good. In my opinion they are a bit pricey for what they are.

Improved the sound 150%!

Improved the sound 150%. The stock pipes made it sound like a sewing machine. Now it sounds like a Harley!
