Better than expected
Really a nice product at a very reasonable price. While not loud by Harley aftermarket standards, it's definitely deeper than stock an has more volume of sound. The pipe's themselves are much nicer looking on the bike than I expected, and the V&H welds and chrome as top notch. Very easy to install as well. No tuner needed.
quiet mufflers
don't buy these if your looking for sound because they don't have any
2017 Street Glide M8-107
I listened to the only H-D SE mufflers for my bike and wasn't impressed with the sound. Heard the V&H on a 103 2cam motor and liked the sound so gave them a try. About a 30 minute install and the sound is exactly what I wanted....deep, mellow and not too loud for a straight through design and did not do a ECM recalibration. I plan on getting the V&H header and a cam and dyno tune, so if they get too loud from those mods, it's nice to know there is a quiet baffle available.
Look great, a little too quiet
I installed these on my '17 Street Glide, and the pipes are just too quiet for me. Not sure if it's the new 107 engine or the slip on's themselves. They are high quality and look great though.
Great quality
If your looking for the deep throaty loud sounds these are not for you. If you want something louder than stock and has a nice tumblr that wont numb the ears then yes definitely purchase. Very simple to install
Nice sound
It took me longer to unwrap the pipes than it did to install them. Seriously one of the easiest installs I've ever done. Sounds great and noticed a little more umppf in the bike when rolling the throttle.
A little quiet
Great looks and quality. If your looking for something loud these arent for you. Good sound at idle and when you get on it. I personally like them because they arent obnoxious
VANCE/HINES IS #1

Nice Sound
A quality muffler set at a nice price. I put these on a 2019 Street Glide which has an S&S 475 cam and a fuel pack 3 installed and they sound just nice enough to get that Harley sound but not so loud you can’t hear the radio and you are able to hear the radio just fine!
Just Right
Not too loud, but louder than stock. Not annoying on longer trips. Nice growl when accelerating.

They have a nice deef rumble when you accelerate, kind of passive when cruising would’ve liked a little more thump on the low end. But Probably best for those long cruises .
2020 Road Glide
Vance and Hines slip-on mufflers look and sound great. Dont have to buy tips for the ends is a plus! They are easy to install, and the chrome finish is outstanding
Vance & Hines Twin Slash Rounds
When I was installing these pipes I noticed a small chip in the chrome plating. I could see the copper plating underneath the chrome. No real big deal, it was hidden underneath the saddle bag. Only took 30 minutes to install. Just the right amount of Bark. A real good bang for the buck. After the install, I retuned the Bike with the Vance & Hines FP3.
Just what I was looking for
I spent a lot of time looking for slip ons that just added enough above stock exhaust to make me grin (particularly at idle). Ive done full exhaust systems in the past - which are great - but just wasnt what I wanted to do here. From a cost perspective, ease of install and a far superior throatiness compared to stock, Im very happy with the product. Ive always loved the twin slash look as well having had them in short shots in the past.
Great product for the money
These pipes add a nice sound over the stock pipes while still being able to hear the sound system. They also add nicely to the appearance. A good bang for the buck.

Fast and Easy
Get slip-ons. The install went fast. Took about an hour to install both. What a difference in sound. Sounds like a Harley now..lol.
Very nice sounding pipes
It gave my Road King the sound I was looking for. They have a nice low rumble to them. They exceeded my expectations.

I love them! Not too obnoxiously loud, and not too quiet. They gave the bike a nice old fashioned Harley Davidson sound. Great quality and look!
Twin Slash Slip On
These Slip ons open up the exhaust a good bit more than the stock mufflers. They sound great but is still more quite than I want. Removing the cat will open them on up and let them rumble. I had these on my last Harley and they were the first thing I did to my new Street Glide.

Great product. Installed on Ultra Limited with M8 engine. I'm amazed with the rumbling sound. It's not very loud and not too bassy as I had before Cobra Race Pro installed. Love the classic sound again. Highly reccomend to someone that like to listen to the radio.

Sounds almost like stock but didn't think about the cat on the bike. Sounds good after 4000 rpm though

I have read several reviews saying these are barely louder than stock, my experience is they are quite a bit louder than stock without being obnoxious. It gave my Ultra Limited that low Harley rumble I was looking for. They sound great at idle and through the whole rpm range. I highly recommend these pipes, specially at this price point.

The best exhaust. I have it on all my bikes.
Vance and Hines have a deep sound no other exhaust can match. Harleys without V&H exhaust sound like mopeds.

Great quality, built well, disappointing volume.
The same great quality you'd expect from Vance and Hines. Built extremely well. Unfortunately, these pipes coupled with the Vance and Hines Power Duals on 114 HD motor produce a sound barely over stock. The only time there is a slight increase in volume is when you're really torqueing on the throttle. If you're looking for more volume over stock than you should look else where.

Put these on my wife's 20 road king,not as loud as my eliminator 400's but sound and look great

This is my 3rd pair of these pipes. 1994, 2009 & 18 Road King. Nothing beats V&H quality in fit and sounds.
Mufflers have a nice throaty sound without being obnoxious.

Great sound, great rumble for the 2020 114ci. <br />I think its very comfortable. <br />Not obnoxiously loud.
The third bike I installed these on in 16 yrs. Same quality as the first. Not as loud with cat converter on my 2018 RdKg, but much better than stock. Sounds similar to my 2008 RdKg with the quiet baffles installed, which sounded great at 64 yrs.

These pipes are amazing, I love the sound at idle while standing behind them a low tone, loud when you rev it up , and the sound of glass packs when you let off the throttle.
They are not as loud as I hoped but still sound really good I guess it's the catalytic converter in the primary pipes keeping it quieter love the Vance & Hines sound

Only took a coupla sockets and 30 minutes to install, and I'm no mechanic. Super satisfied and now I'm not embarrassed to crank my bike up anymore !
