Your Softail makes more power than the factory ever planned for. The swing arm holding it together is a mass-production welded assembly built to a budget — and under a hard drive out of a corner, you can feel it flex and argue with you.

This one is carved from a solid block of billet aluminum. Trussed and skeletonized where the load isn't, left thick where it is, then anodized — in your choice of blue, red or gold — and machined with the VTWIN BIKERS logo. It's the difference between a chassis that transmits what you asked for and one that filters it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a bolt-on, or does it need fabrication?

It's built as a direct replacement for the factory Softail swing arm using the stock mounting points. No frame modification. As with any chassis component, we recommend installation by a competent shop and a torque-spec check before you ride.

Will it clear my rear tire?

Tire and wheel combinations vary widely across the Softail range — especially on Breakout and Fat Boy models running wide rubber. Tell us your exact year, model and wheel/tire setup before ordering and we'll confirm clearance. message us or use Shop by Bike.

Do I need any other parts with it?

It's designed to use your existing axle, shock and rear-end hardware. If you're mid-build and unsure what carries over, message us — we'd rather spend five minutes on the phone than have you wait on a return.
