Time for a change another manufacturer makes the OEM BMW battery.I also decided time to change to a more technical Charger the TECmate<br />both are doing great .here in Florida most of the time the bike sits in a ninety degree garage .Tough on a battery So far the pair are doing great
Very difficult getting the nut in that the bolt screws into once the battery in place. The original battery design let you screw right into the battery without the nut.
Took a while to find the OEM version of the battery in my Honda Pioneer 1000. May other battery vendors provide alternative batteries that obviously would not fit the Honda. The team at JP have the OEM. Install was about 10 minutes.
Failed at 14 months, out of warranty of course despite use of Battery Tender.
Bought this and installed in December. Bike was on a battery tender till May. In May the battery was dead.
When I purchased my 2012 Honda Foreman 500 brand new, it had this very same battery in it from the factory. It lasted me about 7 1/2 years. I NEVER had to charge it. No matter how cold or how long between riding/starts. I always said I would get the EXACT same battery to replace it whenever something happened. I didn?t care how much it costed. I had extremely good luck out of it those 7 years. Thanks.
