I been changing my own Harley Fluids almost 30 years! I changed my Harley bikes to Bel-Ray a few years back, I'm now Bel-Ray in my Trans, Primary and engine oil from my Classic EVO to my modern M8 . <br />The Bel-Ray products improved everything from offering the lowest top end valve noise using the Motor Oil to less 1st gear clunk and smooth like BUTTER shifting to NOW SUPER EASY finding Neutral. I love these Belray fluids for the primary specific oil and the transmission specific oil engine oil run whatever you want but for the primary and transmission fluid made by Belray I feel it is very good fluid as the bike shifts smoother doesn't clunk near as hard when you drop it in first gear. I've been running this stuff for years and years and I've never had any primary or transmission issues

Instantly had an easier time finding neutral along with the shifts feeling incredibly smooth

Beltway chain case lubricant

I swapped over from HD Formula Plus to the Belray chain and case lubricant a couple years ago. I haven’t had had any problems with shifting or clutch slippage. The difference outside of the color I see is the the Belray seems thinner than the Formula Plus, and it seems the compensator is a little louder. With that said it’s a trusted name and their engineering and testing is solid so I’ll keep using it .

Bel-Ray Specialized Oil for each Case

Wanted to simplify the three hole oils in a ‘91 FLHTC where I installed a new S&S 111 EVO, Baker transmission and Barnett clutch. Used Bel-Ray oils for decades. They seem to run quiet and cool. The motor has been running about 180 degrees, and as high as 200 during our 100+ days. Bel-Ray seems to also have a reasonable price. Very happy.

Top Performance

Have actually used this in Harleys to stop slipping clutches caused by other brand name products. Much better performance than many of the more expensive stuff.

Made my primary noise go away

Quality is same as OEM. Shipping was longer than I wanted. On the plus side, the package arrived in tact. I prefer Bel-Ray over other brands for quality and price reasons

It's the right oil for the chain case. Always use the best because this is not the place to try to save a few bucks.

The clutch I got said not to use synthetic. So I use this instead.

Great stuff ! Shifts smooth

After lots ad lots of trial and error and reading , I?ve found this to be the best primary oil for my Harley softail. Kinda looks like ATF which is one that Barnett clutches recommended to me for my new clutch kit. Just for giggles I will try ATF next time and see how it compares to the bel-ray

Hey it's great oil. Have had no problems. I run a hydraulic chain adjuster in my primary. It and clutch performance great.

Love this stuff, synthetic oils cause your clutch plates to slip so that makes for hard shifting this stuff doesn't do that it has nice smooth shifting now

First time using in my primary. Clutch feels good smooth shifting.

i haven't used it yet, i only reassembled the primary case yesterday due to a gasket issue.
