Frequently Asked Questions

Do these bars come with cables and throttle housings?

No — the bars are slotted to route internal wiring, but you will need to reuse or source replacement cables and throttle assemblies from your bike or aftermarket suppliers.

How much lower will these sit compared to stock?

3 inches lower than factory mounts, creating a forward-leaning café racer stance on Sportster-style bikes.

Are the bar ends capped?

Yes — capped ends are included to finish the look and prevent cable fraying at the bar ends.

Will these fit my Sportster 2011+?

These are designed for V-twin motorcycles. Confirm your bike's handlebar clamp size and mounting geometry with Burly Brand or your dealer before purchasing.

Is installation difficult?

Handlebar swaps require removing grips, throttle, brake levers, and controls. If you're not comfortable with electrical/mechanical work, have a shop do the install.

Solid and Sleek

They look great and they feel great! Nothing more you can ask for- installed on a 2017 FXDl (Dyna lowrider). Everything was pretty straight forward for install. However if you have this motorcycle model make sure you have a headlight relocation kit or lower triple tree mount ready to go because you?ll need one with after market bars like these.

A big upgrade

Nice product, a bit of a challenge to get the right side wired up. So many wires to get through the bars. Way more comfortable then stock!

14” Matte Black on 2016 FXDLS

These bars look great and feel great. I’m 5’10 and the 14” bars sit right at shoulder height and very comfortable.
The matte black is very close to the Harley Davidson wrinkle black.
With zero experience I was able to internally wire these and install them in a couple of hours, and I have the heated grip cable which is more than the average bike. My best advice is to use electrical tape and baling wire. Coil the baling wire as many times as you can around the cables so that it won’t slip off, don’t be light . It took me 6 tries before I figured that out which would’ve saved me a boat load of time.
I will admit that getting any form of cable or wire around the bend from bars to riser is a little tricky and nothing I used besides the baling wire was possible for me.
