For those who need sand bags in your boots to hold your chicken legs on the floor boards after 60mph these are the ticket. Nice grip and they look great almost mad max ish. No vibration issues and plenty of room
I read a review from that said that the floorboards hit the primary case when you fold them up. I ignored this thinking it would be something marginal that I could deal with. <br /><br />No way.<br /><br />On my 17 RGS, flipping up the floorboard even slightly caused it to auger into the primary case in a bad way. There would be very little tilt allowed for scraping your floorboard before it hit the primary and you'd be in bad shape.<br /><br />I do not recommend these for Rushmore+ bikes. Maybe they fit better on other bikes. I returned and spent almost 2X for Joker Machine. Have not received them yet.<br /><br />This is my second go around with non-Harley branded floorboards being returned for fitment issues. It seems to be an easy part to make and the manufacturers want to cover every motorcycle ever made with one SKU.<br /><br />These looked pretty good and I would have kept them had they fit, however, I do think that the Joker Machine look better and probably will perform better even though they are 2X the price.
I bought these for my 2017 Road Glide special. Install was a snap as they bolted right up to the existing brackets without any issues. The only thing that I dislike is that if for any reason you need to flip the boards up they will hit the primary cover on the left side of the engine and the right side with hit the front downpipe of your exhaust. With that being said, there is only room for them to flip up an inch and a half so if you were to lay the bike over your exhaust or primary cover with be damaged. This is my only complaint about them. <br />Other than that I really like feel of them.
I purchased these boards to replace the stock floorboards on my 2016 Softail Slim S. The fit and finish is fantastic and they look great. These boards were not a direct fit for my model bike, so I did have to grind down the brackets on the bike to make these fit. Since I had to do that, the boards are a tight fit and no longer fold up. I could always grind more off to make it a looser fit but I don't scrape the boards often or hard enough anyway to worry about it. Overall a great product with an aggressive cool look that doesn't sacrifice comfort or grip.
Love the look and have no complaints.
Great product I was worried about it being too gripy but it’s perfect locks you in without tearing up your shoe I’d definitely buy again
