Great Product
Before installing the shocks I was concerned that the ride might be too stiff but these actually were a huge improvement over stock. My Sportster rides a lot smoother and the lower stance makes me feel more "planted" when I am stopped. The bike doesn't look like it is lowered to much but overall I am very happy with the upgrade.
Threw them on my 98 sportster and they worked great. Only took about 10 minutes to change them and it really lowers the bike. My girlfriend can flatfoot the bike at 4 11” . And yes there is enough room between the read fender and tire.

Great fitment lowered my bike nicely and looks awesome. Very happy with the burley slammer shocks added bonus now my feet can touch the ground while sitting on my bike and a lot easier to hold it up and manuver it around.
Got these for my wifes sportster so she can touch the ground flat footed. I hope she likes them.

Fit and finish was perfect and the ride is substantially better than the struts that were on it.<br /><br />Only issue I had was the first thing in the instructions was "NOT FOR SPORT MODELS" which threw me off. I contacted the manufacturer and it was a misprint but they didn't get installed the day I sat time aside for it,
Fit my Honda Shadow with minor mods
I bought these for a 1984 Honda Shadow, and the work great! The Shadow uses 11.5" shocks (they actually measured closer to 11.25") so these Burly shocks lower the back of the bike about an inch, which is great for tucking the rear tire up under a custom bobbed rear fender without cutting off the rear frame extensions. The finish is fantastic, so they look great on the bike. They're fatter than stock, so I had to mod the fender but as I said, I was modding the rear fender anyway. They come with bushings making it easier to adapt the fit for a different size lower mount bolt. They're not meant for a Honda Shadow but I took the chance, and it worked out great. I've seen other guys use them for Shadows of different vintages too. Great shack for a great price.

Great quality, Nice sturdy build.<br />Gave my bike the stance I have been wanting for a long time, Ride is good I am 108KG and I do not bottom out on a stock 130 rear on a 98 sporty.
Look good. Easy installation. If you ride a passenger alot ya may want to adjust it to the highest setting to keep from bottoming out.

These Burly Brand Slammer Shocks fit my 91 sporty with the spacers, I have good clearance between the tire and fender. I have a good 1-inches of drop.

Worked just perfect on my BOB 1991 883 Sportster, and it didn't added almost no extra high. No problems with clearance nowhere.
These shocks look amazing on my 03 sportster. It allows the fender to sit closer to the wheel giving the bike an awesome look. And they are adjustable so you can dial in a comfortable ride. Installation took less then 30 min and was super simple.
