GREAT Way To Secure The Front End Of My '15 899 Panigale
I had to be creative when securing the front end of my '15 899 Panigale when transporting it in my trailer. I did a Google search and these popped up in a few forums. I like that it doesn't mess with the throttle. I also like the protective fabric that is provided to keep the straps from scratching the bike. I have not had an issue as of yet (just received them but took the trailer out to see how secure the bike was). Highly recommended for ANY bike you have. The one I purchased is the SPORT/STANDARD BLACK 32".
Great product!
I put my CBR600RR into the back of my truck to take from Michigan to Wisconsin (about 7 hours). My motorcycle didn't budge the whole trip. The grips were not damaged whatsoever. I did not even need a wheel chock to hold the bike. I cannot speak for the long-term use of this product because I only needed it for one trip. I will be using these again next time I need it. This worked great with 2 ratchet straps. I also connected 2 ratchet straps to the rear of my motorcycle just to be safe, but I probably didn't need them due to the stability provided by the harness. The harness also keeps the straps away from the fairings. If you follow the manufacturer directions listed on the box, you will not damage your motorcycle in any way. Excellent purchase.
Best invention for secure trailering!
I have trailered my BMW R1200RT for many years, as far as Wyoming and back to Massachusetts twice.
I always had an issue with attach points for the front end, to not harm or stress the bodywork, this thing is fantastic, It is so easy to use, and it puts the tension at the end of the bars, for great balance in the perfect place. I wish I thought of it, Great invention.. PERFECT!
Not compatible with bar end sliders
If you have bar end sliders on your handlebars this product is not compatible with them because it puts too much stress on and can bend their attachment bolt. If you don't want to remove them every time you transport your bike then go with the original Canyon Dancer instead which do not have end caps so can slide past the bar ends onto the handlebar grips.
Works great
Simple to install on bike and stays in place when you cinch it down so you can easily put the ratchet straps on with just one person. The cups on the ends keep it from mashing up your grips like the old versions too, much better.
Simple idea but highly effective!
Don't know why it took me so long to find this device! Greatly simplifies transportation of my bike to/from track days. Much better than fiddling around with tie downs on the triple tree while trying to avoid fairing damage. Works perfectly well on my SV650 Gen2. Makes loading the bike a single handed job and way more secure than my previous tie-down techniques.
Just get this and stop fooling around
I got the 32" strap to help strap my gsxr to the trailer to go to and from the track. It works great and easy to use. All my pit mates use them and recommended I do the same. They were right.
Canyon dancer
Bought this for an 05 r6. Has worked perfectly! Makes tie down so EASY! protects the bike as well!! I love this product
Awesome!!!
This is an amazing product. Trailering my motorcycle was a breezer. Secures your bike firmly and doesn't damage your bike. Must have product for anyone who wants to trailer their bike.
A MUST HAVE IF YOU TRANSPORT
The canyon Dancer II is the only way to go when transporting your bike. It literally makes you feel sooo much better and helps you to keep your eyes on the road instead of checking on your bike in the rear view mirror or turning around constantly everytime you have to turn hard or stop/go hard. If your transporting, you must own this!!!

PROS: Very stable, very durable, Must have, Easy to use

CONS: none

Canyon dancers 2
Was quick shipping and no damage. Very happy
love it
When i use it...it works perfectly!!!
If you haul your bike you probably need this
Really great product, keeps tension where you want it and not where it doesn't belong. Securely restrains the front end without crushing throttle tube. Easy to use and wont scratch your bike with a bit of care.

PROS: Protects Parts, easy to use

what i expected
ive used these before and finally bought my own. great investment for track and moving my bike around

PROS: Easy to use

Perfect solution for my towing plans.
Made towing my cycle a lot more secure....no possible damage to the handlebars.

PROS: Great Design

Great product, highly recommend!
Easy to use on multiple bikes, hard to scratch the tank/fairings. Make sure it's tight otherwise you'll leave marks on the tank, possibly place a microfiber cloth in between the center strap & tank.

PROS: Scratchless, Naked, Durable, Lame, Lightweight, Easy To Install

BEST USES: Faired Sportbikes, Naked Bikes
Secure tranport without damage
Used for a DL-650 on a 9 hour tow. Enables you to securely tie down without any contact with the fairing/plastics. Bought the 36" model, which is effectively 'up to' 36". If the bars are narrower, the tie-loops just hang lower. The plastic cups have a rubber insert so no damage to the grips (removed the bar-end weights first). Bought at Phila store, they had it in stock, and no PA sales tax !?!?
Great product. I have used them for track and race bike transport for many years.
I have used these for 20 years to transport race bikes and track bikes. Excellent product. Protects your bodywork, easy to secure, also because its on your handlebars, you can compress the front suspension if you wish quite easily with one person.
Canyon Dancer Bar Harness II
Works great!!!! I didn't have to buy a chalk for my Honda. 1 man operation loading and securing my bike in my truck!!!!
They work great!
I used these to tie down my 2018 Honda Gold Wing on a 4 hr. ferry ride across Lake Michigan. The worked great. Very well made.
Canyon Dancer handlebar straps
Canyon Dancers bar straps are great, they protect your grips, and tank paint! Easy to use, and very strong. I would recommend these to anyone who trailers their bike when they need too!
Recommend with caution
Using the Canyon Dancer on a bike that has bar ends and/or heated grips could provide the owner with future issues. Bar ends are held on with pretty small diameter screws. Exerting lots of downward force against these bar ends could result in bent screws. Grips with heating elements could be harmed with undo force exerted on the grips from the Canyon Dancer cups. I gave this product a three because of the above. However, I believe it is an awesome secondary security strap to use along with your primary. My primary is a strap around the fork stem of my Gold Wing, secured with ratchet straps. But, if this method should somehow fail, I want a backup to prevent the bike from falling over. The Canyon Dancer will provide that assurance. If it costs me a grip heating element(s), I won't complain if the bike is still standing. I will remove the bar ends prior to using the Canyon Dancer strap.
Canyon Dancers II for the win
Got my new bike back home safely without any issues in a rented uhaul motorcycle trailer and it could not have been any easier. The canyon dancer performed perfectly and left the bike with no marks. I was a little concerned at first with the strap going over the tank, but the soft pads which wrap the straps kept the scratches away. I also used them on my other bike I was taking in to have serviced that same day.
Canyon Dancers
This will be the third set of tie downs I purchased for my Ducati 1299 Panigale S. These are the right one's. These have the plastic cups that go on the bars. If you have a 2018 Panigale, the wheelie control lever can be broke by using the wrong type of tie down. I had to learn the hard way!
Works very well
I trailered my 04 r1 from the Treasure Coast Fl, to Robbinsville NC for first ride on the Tail of the Dragon.

the cups are heavy duty, the straps are plenty strong and the design is very good.

This system in combination with a strap on each wheel kept my bike very secure and completely safe from even the smallest damage. I would Highly recommend this for any one who wants to trailer a bike.

Tommy
Perfect fit for my R1200RT
the Canyon dancer eases the process of putting my RT securely on the trailer no muss no fuss trying to run straps through the cowling. The canyon dancers eases the process no fuss trying to run straps to the cowling. Sturdy padded straps and attachment cups secure the my baby in just minutes. The quick length adjustment a lows for use on other bikes.
Works great
This was my second Canyon Dancer bar harness to purchase. I still have the first one and it has been used to help tie-down my bike on multiple trips to multiple states, as well as for quick trips to the shop. The soft strap covering prevents scratches to the gas tank. Very easy to use.

PROS: High quality material, Ease of Use, Durable

CONS: Pushes On Throttlemeister

Bar Harness
An excellent product that should be used by many bikers

PROS: The Harness Works Excelle

Works Great!
Doesnt distort your grips but does hold bike very securely. Will not work on bikes w bar end mirrors or funky bar ends - like spikes.

PROS: Doesnt Distort Grips

CONS: Wont Fit W Bar End Mirror

Bar harness
the bar harness keeps your tie downs from damaging body work and does a great job of stabilizing your bike during transport.
This is a 'Gotta Have It' product!
I have used this on a 150cc scooter and my BMW R1100RT and it works great. These bikes (and sport bikes) are hard to tie down due to a lack of attachment points or because the straps will contact the bodywork. I have the previous version of this as well but always had trouble with it pulling my grips towards the switches. The plastic cups on this version aren't so hard on my grips.
You cannot use this if you have bar-end mirrors, but its easy enough to remove most mirrors.

PROS: gotta have it, Improved Version, Inexpensive

CONS: none

BEST USES: Touring, Scooter, Sport
Transported Vespa Primavera 150
I use the canyon dancer Straps to transport my Vespa Primavera 150 on my Ford Maverick truck. It worked as advertised and it is highly recommended to anyone else who is transporting scooters or small displacement bikes.
This makes it so easy to tie down ones bike and exceptionally secure. I loaded my Ducati 950 SS up and drove 200 miles for annual service then 200 miles back home and my bike didn't budge a bit. The best way to tie down and it also looks real clean. Great product, can't say enough.
Universal fit makes it a bit sloppy, but it works great.
Works as advertised. Definitely a solid way to secure the bike, but the cups for the bars feel a bit cheap. I worry that if I drop them they might crack. Purely a worry with nothing to confirm it yet, so still would recommend then for the convenience. Being universal fit they are a little sloppy, but it they work well.
Safe and secure!
These tie downs are awesome!! I don?t need to worry about my paint getting scratches now. Securing the bike is much easier it takes less time and I?m on my way, I recommend these to anyone wanting a secure and hassle free way to safely transport your motorcycle.
No marking, scratching or marking, works great.
Helps hold the bike well, used for 500 mile trip on utility trailer with harbor freight wheel chock. Leaves no marks, hold great, use with some good straps.
Canyon Dancer II
I bought this to use with my '03 Ducati 999S and it worked great! Very easy to use and held my bike in place for a 600 mile trip with no movement at all. I would highly recommend!
Great Product for moving your bike
Used this to secure my handlebars after renting a trailer. Easy to use since you just put your grips inside and attach to ratchet straps. Saved a lot of time and hassle and my bike was extremely secure. For the price and the confidence that it inspires it's a no brainer if you have to transport your bike.
Easy to use, excellent operation.
Anyone who transports any type of motorcycle should be using a Canyon Dancer Bar Harness II. I've been using one for 5 years and it definitely keeps a trailered bike in place and keeps peace of mind when towing. I've used mine on several different types of motorcycles: sport, sport touring, standard, and touring. Worked excellently on all models.
Good Quality, Poor Construction, Not for Sportbikes
These harnesses are not meant for sport bikes. While the quality of the material used is good, really good. The construction method is poor for sport bikes. First, the cups are over sized. In the description they say they're meant for the largest grips, but unfortunately they do NOT provide even weight distribution for sport bike grips as a result. When synched the cups will pull down from the extreme end of the cup with opposite direct pressure to the cup opening. There is no pressure in the middle of the cup due to the oversizing. This type of pressure DOES cause damage to the grips every time you use them. It only takes 1 tow to see the effect. Second, the straps are routed very poorly through pulley system. This is hard to explain, but image adding a twist into one of the straps. This is what they've done to accomplish their standard routing. There's no way to undo this routing because they're sown in this way. What this does is cause the fleece protective cover to bind to one side or the other. It also makes it difficult to route the straps between the tank and upper triple tree. Again, are not good sport bike straps. These are easily a 1 star for sport bike use if it weren't for the quality of the material. As for recommendation, I wouldn't unless you ride a cruiser. If so, 4 starts. -1 due to the strap routing.
It just works.
Purchased two of these for a cross country move. Loaded the motorcycles into the U-Haul truck, lashed them down and they did not move for the entire 3,001 mile trip over some really poor roads.
Buy one, you need one!
Absolutely perfect...holds the bike and doesn't scratch vs the normal strap. Used for my Ducati's and dirt bike from Hawaii, Idaho, Washington, and Germany with no problems. Buy it now!

PROS: Protectorshad 2 Ducati, Perfecto No problems

CONS: Nothingnothing at all

I absolutely love it, I will be recommending my friends to get one as well??
canyon dancer
Good idea, but doesn't hold the bike as secure as strapping directly. End caps could be made of a more durable material. Ok for a lighter bike maybe. Not big bikes.
Secure your investment. Worth every penny!
When we arrived at the dealership to trailer the bike (30 degree weather) and the salesman say's " Do you have a set of Canyon dancers? " that says it all. They made it very secure on the 100 mile drive home. Nuff said.
Its ok
I have 3 of these and it Stressed the right clip on for my ninja 300. It slowly started cracking on me. It worked for my zx6r and zx10.
As advertised
Holds a Gen 3 Hayabusa securely in place. Uses with Condor Wheel Chocks
Great product just won't work on my goldwing. Will not fit over Palm rest on the throttle.
Easy transport
Makes transport of my bikes super easy when I take them to the track. Use it on my street triple and r6 with no issues.
A must for spot bikes
I use these on a regular basis and glad I bought them. Makes it easy to strap down and does a good job doing so. It keeps your bike from any knicks, dings or scratched paint. Don't over do it or you risk blowing out your fork seals. I had bike in truck with a 2 point tie down instead of my usual 4 point by just using these, bike was left in neutral instead of 1st as I forgotten and in a hurry, and tailgate down. No issues as we climbed hills, interstate speeds, speed bumps. Use a good set of ratchet straps with these and you'll be golden.
They do what they're supposed to!
This product worked very well. They held the bike very secure and did what they were supposed to. I would buy again if needed and would recommend to others to buy.
Canyon Dancer
Works great as advertised, simple to use, isolate's tie down points effectively without damaging sport bike plastics.
Watch out for steering stabilizer stress.
I found these to be of good quality. They perform well and protect your grips.
However, if you have a steering stabilizer, or anything in between your grips. Where the cross strap falls. the full tensioning pressure will be placed on it. The stabilizer linkage on my CBR600RR has survived the first trip. But bent linkage would not surprise me.
First use of Canyon Dancer Straps.
Part arrived earlier than expected. Pretty rugged. Will be able to use for quote a while. Just what I needed to secure the bike on a rental trailer. The instructions weren't specific enough about why you don't want to use the floor or lower D-Ring attachments. While easier to use, they put to much force on the ends of the handle bars. The canyon dancers just keep the bike vertical. Need to keep the strap as parallel as possible to the handle bars, at least on my bike which has a full front fairing.
Canyon Dancer II works great w/ 2022 Vespa Primavera
The Canyon Dancer enabled me to securely and quickly strap down my Vespa Primavera for transport - highly recommend it!
If your bike will work with this and don't buy it you are stupid
Seriously, super easy. Load the bike up, put it in neutral (don't want to damage the transmission like a noob) throw the cups over the ends and tighten down. Nothing touches the bike. I've hit bumps in the highway at 110 mph (forgot my folding chair and had to run back for it) and it held rock solid. Only thing to be mindful of is this tends to push bar end sliders in making the throttle stick so bring hex key to wiggle them out a bit after you unload before tech.
They are perfect.
Very easy to use. They fit all 3 of my bikes.
I didn't think this on through
Great product not for bikes with lever guards unless you wanna change your clip one for transport
Canyon Dancer Bar Harness II
Worked perfectly, thank you
Get it
Every one should have one
Easy to use.
Easy to use, and well made. I'm still iffy on putting that much pressure directly on my bars, but so far no problems.
Good item
Worked well for the 1000-mile trip; however, I didn't like how much pressure it appeared to put on the ends of the handlebars. Doesn't seems like there were any ill effects, just seemed like a lot of pressure on the ends of the bars.
Overall Impression: Perfect
This product is genius!
Works perfect!
My only issue is that I don?t use a trailer. Finding the right ramps and inclines to get bike in back of truck is a challenge. Once it?s there, the Canyon Dancer makes securing your ride so simple, safe and effective.
I would recommend to anyone, just get the right ones for your style of bike.
Worth it. Great Build Quality.
Worked exceptionally well. The standard option fit the CRF250L stock bars just right. No issues at all after several hundred mile trip. Still added additional tie points as recommended but these provided reassurance and also made one person load in easy.

Construction is superb. Worth every penny.
Canyon Dancer Bar Harness
I'm not sure all the bikes that these Canyon Dancer Bar Harness can be used with, but I have used them on my sport bikes (VFR and MV Agusta) and a Honda Shadow Cruiser. They work great. I would get them in combination with the ratchet tie-downs.
Best tie down for sport or adventure bikes with fairings!
This is amazing, it allows you to tie down a bike without rubbing or bending the fairings! Its adjustable which makes the fit match the chart and measuring instructions.
Does the job it was designed to do.
Best tie downs ever!
I use these straps to secure my 2017 Ducati Supersport S when its on my trailer. They really secure the front of the bike with out damaging the controls.
Bang for buck 2 thumbs up
If anyone says you cant haul a heavy sport bike with these they dont know what there doing lol. Over 4k miles last month this is my go to for my hayabusa. I was nervous after reading some reviews and the guys with zilla still recomended them so i did it i was paranoid the whole 2k miles one way checked my bike ever hour or so never had an issue i wouldnt recomend anything else absolutly great product
The way to go for a full fairing sport bike.
Bar harness
Easy to use and worked great
Less stress
Works very well. It was hard to find an anchor point to strap down my Kawi ZX 1400. This makes it very easy and I don't have to worry about line flapping against the bike or pinching a wire. WORKS GREAT and easy to use.
Much better than the previous model
The previous model did not have the cup design, which would always pull on your grips and mess them up. These are so easy to use and a must have for people that constantly transport their bikes and strap them down
flawed, but fixable
The bar cuffs put a huge amount of force (all of it) on the last 1/2" of the bars because the cuffs are closed-ended.

I sawed off the ends of both cuffs and turned them in, inserting the sawed-off end first. The weight of the bike is now distributed across the grips and several inches in from the ends. It's an easy fix, but I can't understand why they make it the way they do.
Great harness.
I used to use just plain straps and they pulled off my handlebar grips. This harness solves that problem completely. Love it.
Quick & Easy
I recently purchased the Canyon Dancer to help transport my bike to the track for a trackday. Worked great, zero issues, and super quick and easy to install and tie the bike down. No need for a helping hand (although always suggested). Would suggest to anyone looking for a good/quick and safe alternative to old school tie downs.
Works as advertised, very pleased.
Product well made. Designed to protect finish on your bike.
Hard cups slide over grips, no problem damaging any controls.
It holds bike very securely.
would buy again
Best accessories for moving a bike
Love these things. The cups are sturdy and everything works and bike stays solid tied up.
It works.
Works great. Secure and tight during the entire 5 hour drive from Seattle to Oregon Raceway Park. Used an old uhaul trailer that loves to bounce around and the bike stayed put just fine. '04 R6
Works as intended.
Despite other reviews, these straps did not damage my hand grips on my 2014 zx14 after a 760 mile trip. They make securing your bike a breeze, especially in conjunction with the Oxford bike dock.

The straps seem well made and keeps your ratchet straps from touching your fairings
excellent tool for safely tying a bike down.
Easy to use, effective tool to quickly and safely tie my bike down when trailering.
Awesome product!
If you ever have to trailer or put your sports bike into a truck bed, these things are the best. Keeps the straps off of your fairings and locks your bike in tightly!
Works exactly as promised.
Worked perfectly!! The strap is wrapped in soft material to protect the tank during install. Easy to use...
Works great, makes life easier!
I frequently transport my Ducati 996 to the track for some fun at acute lean angles. I'm using a hitch mounted "mototote" on the back of my Dodge Ram pickup. The Canyon Dancer Bar Harness allows for a very convenient tie-down of the bike to the tie-down points, without putting hooks on the top clamp (which is always some sort of puzzle and questionable anchoring). Works well for my bike and application. One point to note is that the loops to hook your straps in are fairly long and you may need to use short-body ratchet straps to get enough pre-load. I've modified my straps to have the ratchets bolted directly to my carrier. I've also heard claims of some wear on the hand-grips due to the load of the "cups" on the canyon dancer strap. I do not have a problem with this. Works great for me and I consider it an essential rigging component to save your bodywork and make life easier.
Canyon Dancer
Perfect product to help transport my RT from Florida to the mountains. Over interstates, back roads and no roads the Canyon Dancer Bar Harness II held the RT in place, stable and secure.
Works!
I use it on the back of my pick up to haul my bike to the track. The bike does not move. I use two ratchet straps to tie down the canyon dancer to the front of the bed and another ratchet strap to tie down the bike to the back of the bed. I didn't need a wheel chock, but I should probably get one anyway.
just works
Simple design that works perfectly. Keeps straps away from the fairings for a secure ride. Add this to your tie down collection and you won't be disappointed
Good product, I recommend it
These are an improvement over the prior version with the hand grip cup. This is a must if you are transporting a bike with a faring. This does a great job keeping things clear from your faring.
love it
Great item.. I used it to strap a GSXR 750 to the back of a 5ft bed on a colorado. Worked great and got my bike home in 1 piece without any damage from straps.

!
A Must For Protecting and Securing
A must for protecting and securing your bike when using tie downs during transport. Very intelligently designed. Takes very little time to slip on each side of hand grips and connect tie down hooks through eyelets. User friendly and bike remains tight and damage free.
No complaints...it works
Well engineered, easy to use and easy on the bike...
NY to VA
I used the dancer on my Honda NT700V with a UHaul trailer from Queens to Woodbridge with no problems. It serves it's purpose well
Great improvement
The hard grip holders are a great addition. I've always been irritated by the mangled grips from the original Canyon Dancer and quit using them with hand warmers. These work great and don't mangle the grips and avoid damage to hand warmers
works perfectly!
Great product, works just like it says. Has a nice soft material on the piece that goes over the gas tank so it won't scratch. Never had a problem.
These can lead to broken clip-ons
Long story short, used these to haul my R6 about 100 miles, stopped to check on the bike and saw that they snapped the clip-on on my throttle side. I made sure there was compression on the front forks but not too much. These put a huge amount of pressure on you clip-on's. I've done the same trip a number of times with the original Canyon Dancers and had some damage to my grips, that's why I bought the 2nd version....mistake. Stay clear of these, just use some soft strap tie downs.
Easy to use and great build quality
It's a pretty simple piece of kit, just a strap for your handle bars; but it is built with very solid plastics, and the straps themselves are much heavier than even the ratchet straps I attach them to that hold my bike in. Very durable, and I've already got a ton of use out of them.
Only way to fly!
If you have to trailer, Canyon Dancers make it so much easier. At $30, it's an absolute no-brainer for protecting bodywork.
Works as advertised
This does a simple job, and does it completely effectively.

The handle "cups" could be a tad smaller for sportbike handles, but that's far from a dealbreaker.
If there was a Nobel Prize for motorcycle hauling...
... the Canyon Dancer Bar Harness II would be the winner!
This thing is just wonderful. Combine this with the Condor chock in a truck, and you do it all allone!
Leajgonzalez
Very good product. I think it fits perfect in what I was looking to tie the bike
Best Bar Harness
Apply bar harness to motorcycle handle bars and use Cambuckle Tie-down. Motorcycle didn't move on my pickup.

PROS: Security, Portable, Lightweight

CONS: none

As Promised
The Canyon Dancer Bar Harness II is very easy to use and performs as promised. It holds my FZ1 in place on the carrier without movement.
Great for securing a bike!
Bought this before I bought my first bike. This is a very well made product made securing the bike in the back of my pickup very easy and safe. Anyone who is transporting a bike should have one. Its worth it for one use.
Great harness
This works great and does not bind on the grip like the first version of Canyon Dancer.

PROS: Does not bind grip

CONS: none

If you Haul your Bike(s) often & travel more than a few miles...
This is a helpful tiedown aid for sportbikes, I had always used softhooks around the upper triple clamp before I got one of the original style canyon dancer. I drive pretty aggressively so if I'm hauling things I like to be sure sure they stay put, especially my bikes! I traveled 500-600 miles on the psycho Cali freeways without a problem. It's nice to see the product has been improved & the price hasn't changed too.
Excellent Product
