Basic Features Are Very Good & Some Marketed Features Are Not Ready For Primetime
The Cardo Edge has some flaws that negate some marketed features. I have raised the issues to the support team, but support is the terrible and they won't even acknowledge that issues exists. In short the Cardo Connect app can not be used if you use two Bluetooth channels for pairing (e.g. phone + TFT) because the app uses one of the channels. Additionally the pairing of the second channel invalidates the first channel pairing. You can work around the issue by pairing the second channel first as a phone and then pair the first channel (but you can't use the app). <br /><br />In terms of use, the buttons are very small and hard to find even with thin summer gloves. Another let down is Music playback. I thought it would be significantly better with the JBL speakers as compared to my old Sena 20. But its a minor improvement and not even close to a decent set of wireless headphones.<br /><br />However, there are positives. The device has good looks and the magnetic mount is great. The mesh intercom works very well and is very clear. Phone calls are also very good and mic + software is good at keeping noise out. Also I have been able to get Apple Siri and the "Hey Cardo" to work and use voice commands for almost all actions (this helps with the small buttons).<br /><br />If you have a simple setup and will only use one Bluetooth channel, the Edge will work great. If you have a more complex setup, e.g. TFT/GPS + Phone, and want to also use the app you may want to consider other options.
The good and bad
The experience for rider intercom is very good. The experience with the app leaves a lot to be desired. Have learned that with iOS devices, you have to start the app, wait for it to search for devices, then turn the Cardo Packtalk Edge on, or you may never get the Cardos to connect to the app. This is a complete pain. The audio quality for music is very poor and rather tinny sounding no matter the settings. Since my primary use is for intercom, I?m happy with this purchase.
Well worth the money!
Teaching the wife how to ride. These are a game changer for that. Also makes the riding experience so much more enjoyable when we can freely communicate with one another.<br /><br />As far as quality, I was surprised at the audio quality and volume. Even through ear plugs I can hear it loud and clear. I don't even actually have the volume turned all the way up. The features that include the ability to connect to your phone and listen to music while you ride and still be able to communicate is nice as the volume automatically lowers as soon as someone starts to talk. You can also do "music share" which allows others to listen to your music with you if you choose.
App needs to be fix for music sharing
3 stars for the frustration it caused me for weeks to figure out how to sync music to the passenger. If you are as frustrated as me here is my tip. DONT NO USE THE APP TO SYNC share music<br />follow these steps for success. <br />Step 1. Link them both up in group in DMC (you can use the app for this)<br />Step 2. Turn on the driver and passenger to bluetooth (holding the up and down together 2 seconds)<br />Step 3. pair both headsets in bluetooth mode only ( hold the up button only for 2 seconds on both)<br />Step 4. Switch them both back to DMC (press and hold the up and down again to switch on both helmets)<br />Step 5. play music on the driver headset<br />Step 6. hold the up button for a second and listen for audio synced)<br /><br />you should now be able to share your spotify music together<br /><br />thank me at cashapp<br />WIZARD1325
Regret purchasing Cardo
My experience with Cardo has been horrible. Do your research consumers. Unfortunately I didn't realize how many battery issues Cardo has with their units. I spent $700 on a Packtalk Edge Duo set and the battery of one of the units was faulty immediately, direct from the factory. Cardo's customer service has been horrible. I've sent four emails to their Customer Support over the last 5 days and they have gone unanswered. Speaking to someone on the phone is nearly impossible. In total, I spent more than an hour and a half on hold before someone answered. When someone did finally pick up, she was impolite and rushed through the entire conversation. She would not give me specifics on the status of my unit or when my replacement unit would be sent out. During the conversation when I asked for her name she hung up the phone. I was initially told I would receive the replacement unit in a "max of 5 days". That time has come and gone and I still have no unit. Not even a date as to when it will be sent. Delivering faulty units from the factory is awful, but the customer service at Cardo is just as bad. At this point, I'm seriously regretting my choice to purchase Cardo Packtalk Edge units.
Great product
First of all i wished i had bought this sooner. It is quite expensive but it's irreplaceable with regards to being able to communicate with riders. Speakers are actually quite good, not bose level but good enough to enjoy music. there is a bit of a learning curve but overall it's easy to use. Battery life is exceptional. At high speeds sound quality is diminished but expected.
Mediocre at best
Not overly impressed. I ride a 2003 FZ1 sport bike and at highway speeds I can hear the music but it's not great. The intercoms work ok at highway speeds and great at slow or stopped. About four to five hour actual listening time with music. Nowhere near the 13 hour battery life they advertise. I bought two PackTalk Edge duo boxes and spent a fortune. Not real happy with my purchase.
Good but not great
We bought so many of these over the years. I use them for work, use them for riding with large groups and for training riders. I bought my first pair approximately 10 years ago. While these work OK and I honestly don't think there's anything better, it is alarming at how little progress has been made over 10 years. The range is OK as long as you have line of site. If you were off road at all, They've only got about 20 vertical feet of range. We find it almost impossible to Connect groups larger than three. Sometimes we can connect up to 12 riders without issue and then the next day, only get three people connected of the same group. The sound quality is really good especially if you wear earplugs. For some reason wearing earplugs really amplifies the sound and you can hear much better with earplugs than you can without.
PackTalk Edge 2-pak. Can't use, the company's no help and not responding!!
I find it hard to give these any rating at all as I have been unable to actually use them due to the inability to download the app. I have tried multiple times and continue to get the same error, which then directs me to the manufacturer's web site. Unfortunately, there is no way to 'connect' the device to the cell phone from a Laptop! So, essentially, I'm unable to use them. To further anger me, I have written to the manufacturer as of last week and they have yet to respond! Pretty Poor!! Frankly, with all the varied types of these units available at a FAR lower cost, I wish I'd picked something else!
Awesome ??
Have to say one of the best quality headsets switched over from Sena and I have to say this tops it on every level highly recommend
Fabulous rider-rider communication --- totally exceeded by expectations
Overall a fabulous product --- excellent voice-activated communication, minimal background noise, super easy to use including re-pairing automatically if riders are separated in traffic.<br />The only flaw is the fitting instructions which are unbelievably poor --- this really needs to be improved especially for full-face helmets where lining removal/replacement is not obvious and damage is easy to do. Fortunately, there are a few YouTube clips by enthusiasts, but nothing from yet from Cardo...
No Bueno for Indian
No bueno with Indian Ride command. Bought a set of these. After update the Cardo app could not identifiy the second headset to creat a private group. Neither headset would pair with the ride command system. The only function that would work is helmet to helmet. These are going back. I'll hand her a note pad and tell her to write me a note. They look great, just don't work.
Good but Far from Great
It's nice to have.<br />The buttons on the unit are almost impossible to locate and operate with even light gloves on, especially when you need to operate two of them at once, as in turning the unit on and off. Strangely, changing the sound volume does NOT change it for every function at once. For example, you can have your ear plugs in and crank the volume up so that you can hear the intercom very nicely, but the computer voice, that announces battery status and other administrative things such as radio frequency, is still very low, and you'll usually not be able to hear it, and you can't turn THAT volume up to match everything else. For as long as Cardo has been in business I'd have thought that they'd have figured this out by now, it's such an obvious quirk. One is given to wonder whether the designers and programmers actually use the product they're working on, meaning, getting out, on an actual motorcycle, with actual ear plugs in, wearin actual riding gloves, at speed, and so on.
It is a great product. The downfalls are on the software side. Sometimes the app doesn't recognize my device and makes me rename it all over again.
Solid product
Easy to ise and sound great! I bought the dual setup for both my helmet and my wife's. The sound quality is good, not as good as buds, but as good as speakers can be. The speed sial feature is spotty and it will only call one pre programmed number hands free but I didn't fuss with that to much.
Great option
The install was pretty straightforward, remove the interior padding and install the speakers, press the microphone, where it belongs, reinstall the padding. I think the sound is great, my music sounds wonderful,. The only thing I'm not sure of, is when my wife speaks into her microphone there seems to be a bit of delay, I don't know whether it's because of exterior noise or what but she has to stay things very slowly in order for me to hear her. Overall, highly Recommended
Trash
Disappointing. Read the reviews and had expectations. Got the pack, paired it to the phone, updated the units. Was able to make them talk to each other, but could not share music. Spent about 3 hours trying to make it work, and nothing would take. No matter how many articles I read, and videos watched, there was no solution. Been using cheap Sena 5s, and was hoping this would be a nice upgrade, but I guess I'll just go back to my cheap Seans.
used them on the TAT they last pretty good we had to recharge either over lunch or put on charger on bike for an hourish each day to get a day's use out of them.
Good But Could be Better
We replaced our aging Sena 10S system with Cardo PackTalk Edge. The intercom connection with my passenger is much better and far more reliable. The attachment of the device to its helmet mount is far better and reliable. Voice commands seem to work well. Sound quality of music is great but voice quality of the intercom is mediocre. The big downfall is the limited range of the Bluetooth bridge to my riding partners using a Sena 50S mesh. Maybe up to 100 line of sight yards and quite unreliable. This would have been a deal breaker had I known when considering Cardo vs Sena.
Big upgrade vs our 10 year old Cardos
The installation was quick into our Shoei Multitec helmets. We wanted these improvements vs our older Cardo units, and got them: more secure attachment, easier controls, less fussy linking, and wider range of sound volume. <br /><br />The one downside is the same as our old units, a 2 second delay on the speech working its way from the mic on one unit to the speakers on the other. With the chin bars tilted up there is an echo effect. I don't know why they couldn't have solved that in the 10 years since we bought our old set. <br /><br />But we still gave 5 stars due to the better attachment to the cradles and the no-fuss linking which were huge improvements for us.<br /><br />Yes they are expensive but that only hurts once.
CarDone with these pieces of crap
Impossible to get set up. Music sharing is nothing short of false advertising. Horrible purchase, returned immediately. JBL if you read this I would take you speakers elsewhere they are making you look bad.
Awesome
Easy to use and pair. Was able to pair with a friend that uses sena. Would recommend!
Still learning
Just bought this unit for my wife and I So we can actually communicate rather than having to stop all the time<br />So far tho only been using it with her as a passenger, And I've had some issues with trying to keep connected.<br />But Granted, I know I'm still learning, However, it's been kind of frustrating especially at this price point To me it seems like there should be less issues but again. I am learning so I might be making a mistake but I don't think so.
Stay with Spirit HD if you don't ride with more than one person.
I had a Spirit HD that worked fine but we wanted to add more riders so I upgraded to this. Even in DMC mode range doesn't seem any better than before when linked on Bluetooth. Getting a group setup didn't work per the instructions. Not sure what we did wrong, we did finally get it setup but it was a combination of the app and the devices (Should just be the app and add a rider). For the money the spirit HD is a better solution but limits you on the riders. The headset does sound more clear and talking commands appear to work better.
So far so good
The Cardo is easy to set up and use, so far. I have not had the opportunity to try using it with other units my friends have but if it performs like the rest of it's features I feel it will work fine. I am not a techy person but so far the set up has been fairly easy and its use is as well.
These things rock!
These things work great!<br />The sound quality out of the speakers is phenomenal.
Cardo PackTalk Edge Headset - Duo Pack
Works as well as promised. Forget it over 60 though.
Excellent equipment
Long battery life and excellent sound quality even at high speeds.
Not worth the money
Very low when on highway. Can't hear music or the person I'm riding with at all. Very disappointing
Life changing
I wish I had bought these sooner. Even if you don't have anyone to ride with they're great for music. I don't think I can go back to riding without these again.
Vastly improved!
Very nice! I had a Packtalk Bold from back in 2019. For comparison, the Packtalk Edge is smaller, lighter, connects faster, and has much clearer volume. <br /><br />For reference: 45yo riding an Indian Challenger and installed in a Shoei RF 1400 helmet.
The Packtalk Edge has very good sound quality and is easy to use.
They work great, were easy to install, and the magnetic attachment is cool
Nice set up
So far it has worked really well! I did end up having to buy a mount for my phone to operate the app since the cardo app and Apple car play do not work together. I do have a Rockford Fosgate but it's a CarPlay issue. I have a Harley modular helmet and my wife has a full face shoei helmet and the install was easy. We walked around the house and neighborhood talking in them to learn the button before we rode.
Good but not the great we were expecting
Got a duo pack for me and my girlfriend. They definitely work and having coms is nice but it is hard to combat wind noise and bike sounds sometimes when it comes to communication but I think you just gotta deal with that. Also we ran into issues with it working with Google assistant which was annoying to have to deal with considering the price of the product. Overall I still recommend having this and already upgraded from a pbold. I thinking you just have to take the cons to have them coms. I also wanted a bit more out of the upgrade but if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Works awesome! Range and sound quality are good. App needs to have feature that connects with spotify
Works great just not as durable as you would think
It's a great product works great the only problem was one of the buttons broke on it within a day of using it and that was just from bumping it on the handle bars of my motorcycle and now I am unable to turn it off
So far So Good, Love the sound!!!
Works great so far, JBL speakers are Great!! Love the voice command option, no issues, but have not gotten to use the mesh or intercom options yet!! I think the price is a little too high though, but i guess you get what you pay for (I Hope)
Perfect System
What I like most about this is the idea that once on, you don't need to find any buttons to activate something. The voice commands work very well allowing me to not have to fine some small button or two with gloves on. It's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I can say against it is there is a slight delay in transmission so if it's on and you are close to the person you are communicating with, you might hear their voice twice. Once due to proximity and then through the system. That will take time to get used to but isn't a deal breaker. Bottom line, highly recommended.
Way better distance
Work better than the bold but pricey and nothing from the bold hardware works
The Edge is the best yet. I use it on both my sled helmets.
I've used both Cardo and Senna units for 15+ years. The Edge is the best yet. The Pack talk Bold is still my go to on my Arai Quantum X for my street Helmet. I use the Edge on both my sled helmets. The Edge is better. Charge on while riding. Bluetooth 5.2 finally allows easier paring with non Cardo units.
The best yet
This is my third set of Caro head sets. The Packtalk Edge is by far the best. I have personally witnessed the improvements to the Cardo over the past 20 years. The sound quality, the voice commands, the magnetic mounting and the speed of charging are all great improvements. Pairing with other riders is much easier than before. I highly recommend Cardo products to all my riding friends.
Sound quality not bad but could be better, little pricey compared to other units
First time using wireless head sets, I like that my wife can listen to her music while I listen to mine, I was hoping the sound quality was going to be better. Still having a little issue with hers shutting off the music for no apparent reason, we are going on a weekend trip with some friends that have wireless also, so we will see how they work communicating with non Cardo pacs!!!
Great way to stay in contact with others
Great so far. I can listen to my own music while my wife listens to her own and still communicate
Cardo Packtalk for the ride
First time users on trip to Beartooth Pass from Portland, OR...great product with three of us on the mesh. Good to be able to communicate road hazards, coordinate stops, and share the ride.
After many years of silence we can enjoy the ride even more!
So thankful for these! My husband and I have ridden for years without intercoms. It was always hard for me to figure out how to let him know that I needed to stop or wanted to go somewhere else. We finally bought these because we live in the mountains and every ride is curvy and we knew that connectivity was a big factor for us. These have been well worth the investment! There are a few curves that we have that disconnects us if I don't keep up with him but, as soon as I see him it reconnects. I love being able to talk and enjoy the beauty God has created with him now.
Useless
Inaudible in Arai Corsair-X helmet with hearing protection.
Came threw for those long rides to talk to my buddies
Great communication that lasts all day
We love our Cardo headsets. They are expensive so we put of buying them. We use them for snowmobiling and as a couple it's so nice to be able to talk about what we are seeing on the trail. It's better quality time. The best thing is the safety of letting the second person know when danger is coming. Other sleds or other things on the trail. Sound quality is good and they last all day.
Better than expected
Was torn between the Sena 50s and the Cardo. After a ton of research and watching videos I decided to go with the Cardo. Only used it a handful of times so far but the sound quality, BT connection, and intercom are better than I hoped for. Everything is easy to set up and use and the voice commands are a game changer!
The Best Ever.
I use cardo pack talk snowmobiling. It's unbelievable how well it works. No back ground noise and crusted clear. My old ones were Collett. They no longer are in business. So I needed to get something else. Cardo is heaven sent. We go in groups and snowmobiling they are the best no problems. Thanks Cardo. Tom.
Do not buy!!! beware
it has issues with the lower button. I can't turn off the unit. I bought the dual pack and this happened to both of them. It turns out that warranty expires on 2 years. So; I need to loom for another brand. <br /><br /> I bought this brand because it seemed best quality. well, its not.
Frequently disconnects. CarPlay works for awhile and then quits working. Read many ideas from people on Google, and watched many videos on YouTube with many different ideas. The system works for awhile and then it doesn't!
great radio love it better than my Sena 50s
Im impressed
Just amazing. The clarity of the speakers and the ease of use makes this a favorite for all trips.
Definitely would recommend it wisely
Well I haven't really tried it out yet but I expect nothing but the but all mounted to the one helmet so far .Now it's just to use it and hopefully no issues
Packtalk Edge
These are amazing...!<br />EASY TO USE...!<br />Great functions<br />Great Sound<br />Great Connectivity to multiple devices
Great headsets
Huge upgrade from the Sena S10's. Really enjoy the ease of connectivity. App is very user friendly.
Best in the game
Great quality, great sound, easy install. Must have!!!
Definitely a must have. Great quality!
Love this product
Great product. Easy to use and the clarity is surprisingly good.
Such a major upgrade from our 20s senas. Sound quality is amazing. Struggles a little bit with temps around 0 tho (as do most things)
Great product but expensive
Expensive but they are the best! I have owned Sena and Freecom 4X, these are better. Sena just ain't got it compared to Cardo
Cardo App is great and they are easy to connect. They def are the best technology in the market.
Cardo App is great and they are easy to connect. They def are the best technology in the market.
Cardo Pack Talk Edge
Works very good just as all of my prior Cardo units have.
Crap
I brought it down to the store to have it paired and it worked at the store. After we got home and went to use them. It was crap. I've had this issue several times! It does not stay paired.
Good performance once you get it goin.
Not sure the advantage of buying in one box.
No title
Sound vkarity for music is between a 3 and 4. Audio for phone calls is awesome.
Cardo
I can't speak for this generation of cardo, but my wife and I use cardo pack talk slim. We have had them for 4 yours and are extremely helpful when we are riding.my wife was a newer at the time purchase. We use them every ride in Dmc mode and are the best hands down.
Great quality, easy to use.
Pre paired so we didn't have to set them up. I recommend getting the 45mm upgrade for speakers but I am also deaf in one ear. Even on the highway the comms are clear. I love these and will purchase more for other riders in the group.
Terrible without DMC
I purchased 3 for my family. When connected to phone and dmc the connect is ok and sound quality is also very good. We ride off-road trails so as expected more than a few hundred yards and you disconnect. We anticipated this so chose Cardo for the dmc thinking it would help extend the connection in the woods a bit. My son is 6 so since he has no phone his has to be connected Bluetooth. It's extremely frustrating just trying to connect much less use. We rarely connect. This add frustration since our $60 set worked much better paired with three. Need some solutions here because having the third is pointless if it never works.
Nate's dream
Like it so far. Got feed back from something not sure what..
Great product
Great still learning how to operate it but so far its great
Stuck with it I guess
Works well. Not simple to operate. Will take some time to memorize the buttons and sequences which are very confusing at first.
Poor Sound Quality
Can barely hear my wife or music. Very disappointed.
Sounds amazing, connects quick
Excellent sound quality!
Excellent sound quality! I've now owned a few different bluetooth devices and these have been my favorite model. I don't ride without listening to music and these have been great to have for solo riding or w/ my wife.<br /><br />We took a trip to Arizona recently to explore Sedona and Flagstaff and used these bluetooth devices the whole trip. Was great being able to communicate while riding for hours.<br /><br />I also love the magnetic disconnect/connect of the device itself from the mounting plate. Very slick design. I would highly recommend this device to anyone.
I bought the Duo and found set up and the interface to be very difficult.
Still learning. Quality sound
Love it and also the wonderful crew at the Tinley park IL location !! Always the best ??
High quality Cardo product
High quality Cardo product, with an installation that requires some patience for installation, but is worth it for the ease and comfort it provides, high quality speakers and high sound resolution.
Worth it!
Love my Cardo's! I have three, Easy to pair, The built in flexibility is wonderful
Purchased Cardo Packtalk edge duo
I received the products I ordered quickly, packaged good. Set up was as expected with any new toy you have to play with it to figure it all out. Connecting to the phone and bike were a breeze, it is nice to be able to communicate to the passenger and others in a group was amazing.
Fits perfectly
Love it, don't have the annoying uncomfortable ear bud in anymore and the sound quality and voice quality is way better then the former!
Love the sound quality and convenience of the cardo
In order to hook up to any cargo that is older you have to be the administrator nothing will hook up The slip on clamp to hold the cargo on doesn't fit well to my helmet
excellent choice
Excellent clarity & volume.<br />Easy install, simple operation, works perfectly.<br />I wish my phone worked this well.
Love My Cardo Edge
Definitely love my new Cardo Edge! Love being able to listen to my music and hear the person I'm connected to. Able to answer my phone with ease and no wind noise or very little even with helmet open. This will be great to use on my upcoming trip. May order an extra for just in case it's needed for a friend to use when riding with us that may not have one.
Great buy!
I'm new and these made my first ride with the wife enjoyable.<br /><br />I was back and forth if I wanted to spend the money based on the reviews about poor sound quality with the JBLs. I put them in a Sedici Strada 3 and a Shoei RF-1400 and they sounded great. The sound quality for the intercom and music was great. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I do like some bass so the reviews mentioning the lack of bass worried me. I experienced no issues here, however I did have the Bass Boost enabled in the app.
Perfect for my needs
There is a lot packed into these little devices. Takes a little time to learn all they can do. Be patient. They are the best I could find.
Perfect tool
Exactly what I was looking. Seamless connections and clear audio communication. Great tool for coaching my son up on the trails.
Love my Cardo Edge
Love the simplicity of using the mesh intercom. For communicating I mainly use it to communicate with my wife and it's great to just turn the units on and that all required to communicate. I also do long distance rides and it's great that I can charge the unit while using.
Expensive but worth it
I needed this for learning how to ride. Its made communication simple when I'm unsure about my next move, and for that its worth the cost.
Love it...and always will, but have to buy new one after every 22k of hard riding miles!
This is the second time I am purchasing the Cardo Packtalk Edge Duo set. While it may seem odd that I am rating the Cardo Edge with 3 star review but continuing to purchase more, it's because it would receive 5 stars from me simply for performance, features, volume, and ease off use, but in the year and a half I've owned it, after near daily use in everything from high outdoor temps to snow and rain, sometimes 18 hour days, and after approximately 22k miles of riding, it simply no longer holds a charge beyond 30 minutes of use (from the unit even saying full charge).<br /> The first 6-8 months of riding in harsher conditions, it will still operate for 4-8 hours, but then with each month of use afterwards, become less and less efficient with battery charge and length of use. But one nice thing is that the unit can be charged while in use on helmet, so even though i have a tether cord charging it, i can still use it indefinately. Just getting new set for original run lengths!
Works great! Transfers from function to function smoothly.
The best cardo unit yet
I own pack talk bold and pack talk Slim, and about 8 months ago I purchased a pair of Pac talk Edge, these are Simply the Best Yet and I liked the pack talk bold, but these are Head and Shoulders better. Easy to pair, the JBL speakers on this particular setup really work well!
Cardo is awesome
They work and are good quality.
Go buy them - everything works great!
We went for long ride yesterday for the 1st time with these and they worked great! We had a set of Cardo's we bought years ago and we were NOT happy with them; feedback, lack of clarity, music didn't work good, updates never worked at all BUT<br />Now this version - the Card PackTalk Edge Headset works perrfectly!!!<br />So easy to turn off and on; NO feedback or unexpected LOUD noise and great music quality that I couldn't get enough of then when we wanted to talk to each other it was easy and clear; software updates worked and were east to do.
Easy install. Operational button combinations take a lot of study.
Get Connected with your group of riders
Easy to install and it has great speakers and does what it is supposed to do.
It was easy to install. The sound is great with the JBL speakers voice command great.
Cream of the crop.
I think this is the best helmet comm system out there !!! An investment for sure, but well worth it ??
Nice set
Really like the way it work's so easy. Haven't been able to try all the different things it does, my only complaint right now is the echo you get wish they could get rid of that. My boyfriend wears hearing aids and even thou I don't we both hear the echo when talking. We have had three different sets this is the best so far just wish we didn't have the echo. Hopefully they can find something we can download to fix it. Sound is good except echo.
Worth the money!
Coming up from the palktalk bold, this definitely has improved sound quality. Not a lot or anything, but it's still better. The audio is clearer. Not as much lag. Linking with other edges has better audio than phone calls. I haven't had an issue yet! Rain or shine, I ride almost daily. I love it!!
Cardo Fan
Had PackTalk Slims before but needed another set since my daughter rides with us now. I really like being able to take the set in and charge without carting the entire helmet around. System takes up a lot less space in/on the helmet too. Being able to mount outside means you have a LOT more options of what helmets to use it with. Minor difficulty getting my daughters PackTalk Slim pulled into the group, but figured it out and am happy with the unit. Looking forward to seeing how well it integrates with my cousin's SENA unit.
Great headset and easy to use!
Simply Awesome!<br />Easy to use speakers sound great and the batteries last long with a short charge time.
Awesome!!!
Excellent product. Group had Sena's and they're all in the garbage. Mesh works well for our group. Easy linking and operation. Definitely recommend over any other communicator company
Love it!
Geez I love this product. Loud enough that I don't have any problem listening to my toons or directions while riding my loud bike. Keeps a charge for a while. Few updates.
Just get it
Works great. Does everything we could want
Great device
Easy to operate. Voice command (hey Siri or hey cardo) works well. Battery lasts a long time. Noise cancellation works very well. When I talk to people on the phone they can't tell I'm on a motorcycle, no wind noise. Haven't had a chance to use the intercom yet. Listening to music is easy and clear, sounds great.
Very happy
Very good, and nice ??
Great system
Love them, they are working great and sound amazing! App is sometimes a little slow but no major issues. Highly recommend.
Sadly, I have still not received the duo Cardo PackTalk Edge. Very disappointed and frustrated. Waiting. Waiting.
No regrets
I bought this for my husband and me. He rides a Triumph T120 and I ride a Triumph Street Scrambler. Short version: we have no complaints and we love these. Long version: Noise canceling is great, we can't hear each other's bike through the speakers at all. Sound quality for both music and voice is really clear and equalized. The set up and getting to know how it works is a little finicky, but that's to be expected with any system that's new to you. After we've used it a few times, we both are very used to how it works. Voice commands work well. I have a soft, quiet voice, his voice is deep and carries. Even at 80 mph it still hears our voice commands. It's slimmer than either of us expected it to be and the magnetic connection is great. We also like the fact that to remove the unit, the tab has to be pressed and the unit slid forward off the carrier. That's REALLY secure. Charging is easy too. Just slide it off and plug it in. The rubber bit is pretty secure too, we haven't tested them in the rain, but we get the impression it will do well.
The cardo is very good quality. The sound is awsome the voice commands work well. Haven't connected to the bikes navigation system yet but intend to soon
Awesome comm unit
So far Im loving it. Use the voice commands primarily and they have been flawless. This being said I am hoping that they last as long as my previous sena smh10, which Ive had for 10 years
New one is better
First look - it?s great! Previous headset was Cardo Smartpack and it has some bugs - new Edge doesn?t show them in first ride.<br />One minus - new platform looks bigger. <br />Second minus - i have few noise while cardo says system messages, but i have big speakers from packtalk bold and max loud.
Bluetooth the blue me away.
Works easy as pie. Battery lasts a long time. Connected a no name Bluetooth and it worked great. Reconnect after shut down works as well. The sound is great, noise suppression superior. No complaints. Recommend it you want the top of the line model.
