Frequently Asked Questions

Will these fit my Twin Cam Harley?

No — these gaskets are designed exclusively for Milwaukee-Eight engines. Twin Cam owners need a different Cometic part number.

What does MLS mean?

MLS stands for multi-layer steel — a layered construction that seals better under heat and boost than single-layer gaskets.

Do I need new head studs or bolts?

Reusing factory head fasteners is common, but inspect for stretch before reinstalling. Many builders recommend fresh studs when doing a complete head gasket job.

Is this a single gasket or a set?

This is a single head gasket per pack. Order quantity as needed for your engine build.

The product was good the shipping sucks. No reason it should take so long to get a small light weight package.

Got change these out every now and then. Got a rebuild kit for the Mukuni. Might as well change the intake manifold seal while I am doing the rebuild.
