Everything I needed neatly packed and fit perfectly. Highly recommend if you need to replace the stator in your old bike 04 dyna wide.

40 Amp Harley Charging System Kit.

Ordered the kit even though after replacing , it looks like the only thing that was bad was the voltage regulator. Was a little concerned with the look of the voltage regulator on the front since its shaped different than the Harley OEM. After I got it on, it didn't look to bad and the performance was instantly noticeable. Best to do the kit because if one thing goes, its a matter of time before the others go, including the battery.

I have waited to review this until now. Installed the unit 08/10/2020 have over 2000 miles on Harley and no problems. The Compu-Fire 3 is very well made and I was impressed with how heavy duty it is. Two Thumbs UP!!

This charging system is definitely a step up from the original one. The bike fires up quicker due to be battery being charged better. Only thing is be careful when ordering, make sure the pull through plug for the stator is the correct one for your inner primary, in my case I ordered the oval kit on accident when I needed the round pull through.

I purchased one in Oct of 2010. I have not changed or added any additional lights, stereo or amps. This one was died on March 9th, 2013. I expected a longer life.

Great charge so far. It has only been on a month.

I needed to try various shims to get the spacing right.

Best charging system on the market!
