Handy for long rides, an impediment for day-to-day local rides
This is a product that is easy to fit and functional for its intended purpose. My bike is a '14 Kawasaki Ninja 650. I did find however that my throttle grip is too narrow to leave this installed on local rides. Note, I did order the narrow version. It takes up too much room on the grip. When installed and set in the correct position which takes a little trial and error to get right it relieves the strain from keeping the throttle position using your fingers and wrist. So, on the highway when you're covering miles of constant speed riding this works quite well.
But day to day it is a hindrance to leave on the handle bar.
Worth twice the price
I borrowed my wife's Cramp buster yesterday , rode A total of 381 miles . When I was on the twisties with my buddy I turned it so it was not in the way , back on the straight Texas highway flip it around . I could maintain speed with my hand completely open .
Required for those long hauls!
I have been using the Crampbuster for over a year and it still works. When I was living in Florida, I rode back and forth from Tampa to Jacksonville and the Crampbuster delivered. Now I ride back and forth from Maryland to Norfolk, VA which is around four hours one way for me and the Crampbuster still delivered. I put the Crampbuster at the end of my grip and just lay my palm on it. When I get to a light or in traffic, I just move my hand up the grip and off the Crampbuster. Only issue is adjusting to increase speed. For safety, don't adjust it while at highway speeds. Pull over, move it up or down then get back on the road. Overall, this is your best bet, especially for people who are afraid of the cruise controls that lock down your grips.

PROS: Easy Installation, Good Durability, Prevents grip fatigue

CONS: Can't adjust on the fly

Simple, foolproof design. Excellent product.
I put these on all of my motorcycles. They are semi-flexible molded plastic that wraps around the throttle grip and allows you to rest your wrist without having to grip the throttle tightly. Not quite cruise control, but the relief is very welcome, whether it's a short ride or a long tour.

The Crampbuster won't rotate toward the rider without pulling the throttle, which is exactly what it's designed to do. Pushing it away from the rider is easy, and rotating it out of the way for slow-speed maneuverability is easy.

This is one of the best $11 that I've spent on motorcycle accessories. Installation takes seconds, and it can be easily removed if you ever decide you don't want it installed.
Works well, but...
The Throttle Boss works as advertised, but keep in mind that when set for highway cruising, it may interfere while at lower city street speeds. I found the first week or so that I would be accidently reving the engine while braking. Just keep adjusting it until it's in the sweet spot where you can use it at speed and not interfere with braking.
Great for highway, but be careful with it on the streets!
This is an incredibly simple tool, which does its job well. You can rotate it 'forward' to move it around the grip to keep it partially out of the way, but if you rotate it the other way, it twists the throttle.

I found that after getting on the highway, I would have to clutch in and adjust the crampbuster to get ideal position, but then I could rest most of my palm against the device to keep the throttle engaged and to take some of the strain off of my fingers/wrist.

Definitely a good thing to have for a long trip, but I prefer to leave it off unless going for a few hours.
Best low-cost addition to any bike.
Do you have a problem with your throttle hand getting pins and needles or cramps? What about a tired or sore writst? Many people have a problem with their glove pinching the meaty part of the hand near the fingers.____This can solve all of these!

It allows you to stretch your hand without the problems with mechanical throttle holders. I had Kuryaken grips with their integral throttle fin and it hurt my hand because it was so small and at the end. This is better. Beware of sizing. Got one for an adventure bike and a cruiser, but both needed the larger size.

PROS: Good Cost, Hand and wrist relief, Simple construction

Works!
Immediate relief from my throttle hand cramping. This allows you to vary the position of your hand/grip on the throttle. Quick learning curve so I now leave it on the bike all the time, even in town. 2007 FJR.

PROS: Helps Lessen Hand Cramps, Easy To Install, Inexpensive

Works exactly as expected
After several hours of riding, I found myself getting hand cramps. I pull over, attach the unit to the grip and then just rest my hand on it for the remaining trip home.

I pop it off for local short trips to get it out of the way.
Works Great
Installs easily, easy to use and works as intended. Ordered the narrow version.
Had this on now for about 200 miles. First ride with it was all highway and roughly 60 miles. I could definitely tell a difference not just while riding but when I got off too. Less tingle and fatigue. Great product and price.
Surprisingly Effective
Like others have mentioned, it doesn't look like much out of the box but once you have it on your throttle and set to the proper angle, it makes riding so much nicer. Been using it for 2 weeks now and I have yet to have any fatigue in my hand or any cramps. When I feel my fingers need a break, i just have to loosen my grip and rest my palm on the Crampbuster to maintain my speed. Works amazingly.
Great for long rides
This helped me immensely. My right hand used to cramp so bad when on long rides. Now with this I can relax it when I need to. It was inexpensive and easy to install. I highly recommend this product.
Works as advertised
I use on a 2013 ZX-6. Works very well. Gives your hand a rest.

PROS: Easely Adjustable, Works very good

CONS: Sometimes Gets In The Way

Helps somewhat
It slips a little. I often have to readjust it. I don't use it with my palm because of the slipping, I have it pushed to the left side of the throttle grip and push it with my thumb which is much easier for me. So it's helpful, but probably not as good as you want it to be.
Snapped the first time I removed it
It seems my experience with the Crampbuster is unique based on the reviews. The first time I went to pull this off the handlebars, it snapped like any thin piece of plastic would. Maybe I was handling it like an ape and didn't realize it? I don't know. Regardless, I only got one ride out of it before it was no more. I would ask for a refund, but for 9 dollars, I hardly want to bother.
Great product, easy install, works well.
Even with BarkBusters, I was able to open the CrampBuster enough to get it on my grip. It slides easily in one direction, so adjusting its position on the fly is a breeze.
Awesome on the open road
I have carpal tunnel and the crampbuster makes my cruising so much easier. Takes a couple of times to find the right position on the grip, but when you do, what a relief on your hand. Great for cruising the open roads. Went back and bought my buddy one.
The best [$] I ever spent
Pretty simple. This is the best [$] I ever spent. I hate throttle lock cruise controls, I feel that they're unsafe. This fits the bill perfectly, allowing me to "lay" on the bars without fully gripping, and yet maintain control.

PROS: Relieves hand fatigue, Quick fit, Easy to use

An effective and cheap solution for long highway days, but be careful parking/in traffic.
This handy little thing made a recent 5,000 mile trek from PA to Utah and back much more bearable, especially on the long, straight, high speed slogs across the plains, which is where this thing shines.

Outside of that use case, there were a handful of times when parking or in traffic where this made it VERY easy to accidentally blip the throttle. I didn't have any accidents, but I did accidentally rev-bomb in the parking lot of a quiet national park...whoops. I did end up taking it off for everything aside from long highways/steady speed scenarios.
Ten bucks well spent
This is honestly a thing that I must have on a bike. I had one on my old V-Strom, and forgot to take it off when I sold the bike. So I bought another one! I was getting some wrist/hand pain and tingling after longer rides, and this seems to have taken care of that (for me).

Err on the side of positioning it too low at first until you get used to it being there. That will help prevent whiskey throttle.
Broke after 6 weeks
Easy to install and works well, unfortunately mine broke in two pieces after about 6 weeks.
Exposure impacts this device
I purchased this in December of 2017. Today is August 10 2019
This device literally "disintegrated" in March of 2018. It worked well up to the day I was riding home from San Diego to Santa Barbara and the plastic literally crumbled. Too bad. I had the chrome model.
Easiest way to relieve wrist stress
Slid right on to my 96 vfr hasn't left since. Can't be easier to install or use.
Don't ride without one
On my very first long distance trip, I picked one of these up at a dealership we stopped at. I noticed an immidiate difference, and I'll never ride without one again. This is the best money you will ever spend on your motorcycle.

PROS: Reduces Fatigue, easy to use

Dangerous!
I bought this... It was a little small for my bike, but somehow got it on... I took it off after two miles... It just gets too much in the way, and feel like it is dangerous.
helpfull
this was easy to install and adjust. worked as described.

PROS: Quick to adjust, Easy To Install

Literally just plastic and snapped the first time I tried to adjust it. But it would have worked pretty well and it looked pretty nice and was very easy to install
Check your handle width before ordering
So I purchased this to save my hands when riding distances on my '14 MV Agusta Brutale. It WILL work but it takes up a lot of space on my grip. I ultimately decided it was not for me and removed it. Made well, should last forever, but a bit too much room required for my taste.
Nice Little Addition
Grabbed this little guy because I was cramping going on long rides. It's pretty simple and definitely helps to give your hand a break. Also helped on a couple cold mornings when my hands were cold and I didn't have much dexterity.
You get your money's worth
It's easy to install, but that means it doesn't stay put while riding. It slowly spins downward to the point where it serves no purpose any more. What relief it does give when in the proper position is lost by the discomfort of gripping a hard plastic part instead of the rubber grip beneath it. If it were more of a clamp on design, rather than a spring design, it wouldn't move on you and would be worth getting, otherwise it's a waste of money. Definitely not an alternative to throttle locks or cruise control.
I have bought this product before!
I would not go on a long ride without this product! It keeps your hand from cramping.

PROS: No Hand Cramping

Simple to install
Easy to install. May need to take a few short trips to get use to it being on your throttle. May have a hard time installing on aftermarket grips. Works on 04 Hayabusa OEM grips.

PROS: Easy Installation

CONS: After Market Grip Install

Essential gear
These narrower crampbusters are absolutely essential for any bike ride more than 30 minutes. And the slim profile makes it easier to push them out of the way if you don't want to use them. Very easy to adjust on the fly too by just rotating it around the throttle to the desired position.
The best inexpensive upgrade for your bike I ride a dual sport and this little thing makes street riding a lot more enjoyable I do take it off for off-roading so it doesn't got in the way
Cheap solution for hand fatigue
These are brilliant! Supper simple solution to prevent hand fatigue. I wouldn't recommend for a bike that doesn't have a clutch ie. Honda's DCT system. If it were to get caught on a you sleeve you could get an unexpected lurch out of the bike.
Don't leave home without one.
What can I say? A must-have.
A literal Crampbuster.
After getting used to it, and putting it at the right angle, it's a definite game changer.
Literally improved the quality of my life (on the bike)
I'm convinced that bikes, especially cruisers, should come stock with something like these. For such a small gadget and small price, they make a world of difference for rider comfort. I haven't experienced wrist/hand fatigue since I've popped this handy sucker on my throttle grip. I have the narrower 1" paddle on the very end of my grip, and it's pretty discreet. Having it small and on the end lets me choose whether or not to rest my wrist on it by sliding my hand up or down the grip. I can't recommend these little things enough.
Try one. Inexpensive and a wrist saver.
Works great. My had fells much better when I use it. I have cruise control but this has me using it a little less. It does take some getting use to as it takes up space on the grip and cam get in the way. Rolls up easily tO adjust position and does not slip to hold throttle. And makes for better hand position, less gripping and fatigue. Learn to use on open highway as it can easily get in the way. When not in use I rotate clock wise to about the 5 oclock position so just at the bottom of my figures when gripping. When in use try placing in the 11 oclock position to start. It is easy to rotate clockwise. I do prefer the fell of the wider unit but afraid it will get in the way so only use wider unit on long highway trips. I keep on the grip but find it can be dangerous in stop and go traffic so I rotate to just out of touching of figures. Learn to use in a safe environment.
Indispensable but dangerous
I could not ride for long periods of time without this because I get hand cramps frequently and this thing is a life saver. It works perfectly. Its solid on the handgrip but also easy to adjust.

Be careful how you mount it. You choose the angle that it hangs from the grip, and if that angle is too high, you can risk hitting the throttle when you reach for the break lever. Id suggest spending a half hour in a parking lot getting the placement and feel right before using it on the road. You can hurt yourself with this while you are getting used to it.
Can't be beat...
No more cramps! Get the larger size for stock Honda Shadow grips. Takes some getting used to in city driving so be careful when you first use it.
Great product
I use this always either in town, off road, or on the high way. It's not in the way at all and I use the wide version. My only issue is it slowly slips down the grip and I have to readjust it often. A rough texture on the inside to "grip" the grip better would make this 5 stars.
Works great on long highway stretches
I used this on my long road trip this weekend and it worked great on the highway. It really takes the pressure off of your hands. The only downside is that it is annoying once you get off of the highway at low speeds (it just kind of gets in the way). I would recommend taking it off once you get off of the highway
It works
What can you say about it? It's a piece of injection molded ABS, no screws, no U bolts, not much to go wrong. This piece is far beyond the sum of its parts though. On a long trip, it keeps my right hand from aching all the time. KTM's return throttle springs are notoriously stiff and even with cruise control, your hand is begging for a break after a couple of hours. This did the trick for cheap. Very pleased.
It does what it says
Its the crampbuster! On longer rides this thing saves my forearms greatly! I ride a bike without cruise control and this thing is brilliant! Simply snap it on adjust to your comfort level and take off. The only draw back is that you have to be careful where you place it. I found myself inadvertently twisting the throttle while braking to a stop.
Must have
I installed mine to the far left of the grip, not on the right as I see many people do. I angled it downward so that it rests against my thumb as I'm cruising. This works well for me because when I'm riding aggressively it's out of the way, but when I'm cruising it's perfectly placed for keeping the throttle open. It makes my huge commute really easy on the wrist, and it's nice extra leverage for other riding styles. For 10 bucks, I can't recommend this product enough.
These things are amazing!!!
These things are amazing!!! I'll never ride without one! I have no idea what these people with these low reviews are talking about. They are SUPER easy to install. I bought all 3 of the ones available at the time of purchase. The longer one is better for highway folks and the small wide one is better for in town and city driving or just in general all around driving; yes you can use it on the highway too. The wide unit is not in the way as much as the longer one so for nimble riders, get the wide one. For sport bike riders, you will LOVE yourself the day you get one; bless your wrists my children, get one!!!
Usable but...
I like using it when on a freeway or highway, but it seems to get in the way when I need to clutch and throttle back. I twist it down away from me when I need to clutch, brake, slow or speedup (in town driving).
Just works
Cram buster is a piece of cake to install and to adjust. Works the way it should and allows me to relax my throttle hand on long trips. Great low cost extra that makes a big difference in arm / hand fatigue.
one year
One year is all this product was good for or a riding season. Waste of money, but what do you expect at this price.
Give your grip a rest
Had to trim a bit off, as I must have the worlds shortest grips. I have a right hand injury that makes it painful to roll on the throttle and hold it, and the Crampbuster makes it easier for me to do both these things.

Easy to install and easy to rearrange on the grip for optimum usage.
Nice for long rides
The Crampbuster Cruise Control popped right on to the throttle and has been a godsend on long moto rides. Really allows you to relax your wrist and enjoy the ride.
works like champ
Works great
poor performer
Easy install. Cheap quality. Seems dangerous to use. Get grips with throttle boss and suck it up!
cool idea but
I think it's basically unneccesary. I can get by just changing the way I grip the throttle. It takes getting used to (it's a pain at first) and in the end it just seems like an as seen on TV gimmick. It's taking up space in the top of my tool box.
Wifey just loves this accessory.
Makes riding more fun

PROS: Wrist Relief

CONS: none

This has been a WRIST PAIN saver
I find the device slips a bit during use, even over the rubber grip insert. This is not a big deal, but it is enough to be noticeable. I find it easy to readjust while still riding.

PROS: Easy to adjust readjust, Relieves numb hands, Easy to remove, Looks great, Easy To Install, Relieves wrist pain

CONS: Slips a little

Awesome piece of gear!
I bought two one for me and for my cruising buddy. We are both super happy with this item.
good solution for a sore throttle hand
I had to use a pair of pliers to get it on the grip.
Once on, it stays put!

PROS: Eases hand fatigue, Releases arm stress, Grips large throttles

CONS: Can't think of any

What a relief
Since I cant obviously let go of my right hand like my left , this helps me loosen my grip and use my palm or even my fingers to relieve my hand from the bar vibration.

PROS: Helps me loosen grip

CONS: none

Crampbuster Works !
The Crampbuster Cruise Control installs easily, works well and is predictable in its function. Personally, I find it gets in the way when I ride around town, but really shines when I go for longer rides.
Easy to install and works great. My right hand is now totally crampless when I ride
Simple and effective
Simple and yet effective. My bike doesn't have cruise control and on a cross country trip this has been a life saver! Highly recommend!
Cruise Control
I used this on a long trip and it works great but it very nearly got me killed. You will bleep the throttle at the wrong time once off the highway. I stopped using it
Nice for steady throttle rides, horrible for city riding.
This thing works if you are doing long drives with steady throttle, but make sure you keep it off if you are doing city driving or lots of turns.
Handy device
I've been using this for a few years. This came in handy on those long trips. Gave my wrist a rest during those long straight highways. The only issue I had, which had more to do with my jacket, was that because my jacket sleeve was too long for me, it occasionally would get stuck on the crampbuster and would accidentally pull down on the throttle. It's not an issue now that I have a well fitted jacket.
Cruise control
Not a hugh fan, the unit doesn't hold the throttle at a set position, if indeed yo want to give your right hand a rest, it only helps with rotating the throttle more so with ur entire hand so your wrist doesn't get as sore.
My only regret is that I didn't buy this sooner
How useful! Wish I'd discovered this years ago. Significantly reduced wrist pain and that buzzy feeling you get after riding a thumper all day...
My hands appreciate it
Works. No complains. Probably should have got the skinny one, the wide one makes it easier to find without thinking about it, but some might find it a bit large depending on your handlebar layout.
Cheap, simple solution to distance riding wrist cramps.
Simple solution for distance touring, take it off to ride around town. I advise putting it as far on the outside of the grip as possible. Nice companion to a throttle lock.
Comfortable
For comfort on a long ride, this is great. Its small enough to fit in you pocket, and simply to put on. I leave the rubber piece on my grip, and will put the lever on when I know Im going to be on a sustained ride. Im not crazy about using this in stop and go traffic. It does what its supposed to, so if you accidentally apply pressure to it, you are opening the throttle...not great in stop/go traffic. That said, its very comfortable and useful on a highway ride. Its literally just a well molded piece of plastic that wraps around a rubber ring on your grip.
Shocking improvement
Everything about this worked great for me. It has added more comfort for me than any other addition. Simple installation and adjustment, and no more numbness in the hand, elbow, or shoulder. I don't think these can be beat for the small investment involved. I'm sure I will have one on every bike I own from now on.
Helps out on long rides. No more cramping hand.
Great on the highway
The Crampbuster Cruise Aid is easy to install and easy to use. It is very useful on the highway where you maintain a constant speed, with just the weight of your hand keeping the throttle set at cruising speed. It is, however, a little inconvenient when cruising around town in stop and go traffic, as it gets in the way of your hand finding a comfortable grip.
I recommend this valuable tool for folks who do a lot of highway riding, but if most of your riding is in town or short distance, you may want to save your money.
Must have!
On long rides this is the most price friendly fix for cruse control that Ive found . It installed fast , adjustable, and work as it should !
Miles
In the middle of a 5000 trip and bought this for the trip and man am I glad I did 2455 miles of cross country and I can't imagine not having it so easy to install and use don't wait get one even if your just riding across town
No more hand cramping
I bought this to relieve the cramping of my throttle hand. It slips on over the end of the handle making it easy to install.
Poor man's cruise control. .
Works as advertised. Makes long trips much more bearable.
Really eases the throttle hand
Didn't think this would help but it's worth it.
Great product
This device does wonders for your palm while riding. Prevents your hand from cramping up. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
Meh
Is what it is - good for the long straights across the mid west - otherwise ... Meh
Flimsy. But maybe by design?
It is a lot flimsier than I expected something like this, and it needs to be adjusted more than I'd like while riding to get it into the right spot for it to actually be comfortable and not just in the way.
Good value
Works as advertised, but tends to be too wide if you have bar end mirrors.
Awesome for freeway commuting.
It works just Like advertised! Awesome piece of equipment. Really durable as well I went down and it survived the wreck lol
nice help
Works as advertised - great for long highway rides. Can have a little pressure point at wrist - just need to adjust hand position. Can be a little awkward to get off it on panic stop, but not unsafe.
get used to
just needs to get used to at first.
Great product
This little thing works great. I really didn't expect this to last but I've used it for about ten months now, even on short trips and it stands up to my innate ability to break things. I couldn't be more satisfied with it.
Crucial for long rides.
This thing is the best, cheapest, easiest answer to throttle-hand numbness, stiffness and cramping. Install couldn't be easier; the Standard/Narrow size snapped right onto my KLR 650's stock grip.
best remedy for tired hands
This is a replacement of one that stolen off my bike a few months ago. I have tendinitis and CTS. Such a simple and elegant solution....
Comfort
I have heated grips on my CVO but hate having to constantly squeeze for continued speed. The Crampbuster Cruise Control lets you palm the grip without wearing out your hand.
Seems To Work Well
A very functional product, although not stylish at all. they were bit hard to get on to my handle bar actually, took quite a bit of work. A little hard to get used to, my hand doesn't fit to the side of it so the crampbuuster is always on my palm.
Does what it says
I leave it on my bike but I find it a little difficult to use in city driving but on freeway I use it a lot. It's easy to spin around real quick to put it in a position out of the way.
Sweet bliss, then woe!
This was the most awesome cheap-fix ever. It evened out my throttling, it made it so I could relax my hand... it was an easy install, and did everything it claimed it would, for around $10. And then the weather was cold (50^F) one day, and I hit it just right lifting my hand up at a gas-pump, and it snapped in half. *sigh.* Going to go full Kuryakyn ISO grips w/ throttle-boss - hopefully it fares better?
Works as Intended
I got this, plus a GoCriuse, to combat the awful terrible wickedly bad stock bars that come on the V65 Magna. It certainly helps on long rides. However, at low speeds it can get in the way. Would I buy it again? You bet. I have a long commute and plan on taking several long highway trips every year.
Cheap cruise control
Save your wrist from cramping. Cheap easy to install and makes long rides more pleasant.
no slipage or play, will shop there any day
Right . The saddle bags I bought were perfect for my trip to LA. The mini sissy bar bag was just right for the small stuff. The windsheild was also a good move since it gets pretty windy between phoenix an Longbeach. The cruse control along with the cramp buster was appsolutly nessary, and made the trip a pleasure. Your crew at the store in suprise arizona know there stuff. There's no presure and there always ready to help . I'm glad I shop there . Tony...
Easy and affordable
Great product. Super easy to install. I will take a few days to get used to using it smoothly. But after that it works like a charm.
Ride Safer
This throttle rocker allows me to comfortably ride with 3 fingers covering my front brake lever.
This improves your braking response time and could be the difference in avoiding an impact
Works but not perfect
It works like I imagined but I find it difficult to set it in the perfect spot where I can cruise at my desired speed. I will probably only use it for 200km+ rides.

I ride a ninja 300
Handy for long rides
The crampbuster is easy to install, and was instantly intuitive to use. I found myself leaning on it instantly, relaxing my wrist and hand comfortably.

I tried riding my normal commute using it, but it tends to get in the way a litlte bit while constantly needing to adjust the throttle. Hitting the highway though it shines. A great help.

Installation and removal is super simple, so I just keep it in my kit bag rather than pushing it out the way all the time.
Works as advertised, but I stopped using it.
It does what it say it will, and does it pretty well. But after using it a while, the annoyance of it being there when I didn't need it outweighed the advantage of having it on longer cruises. The spring return on my throttle isn't all that strong, so as long as I'm wearing a glove just the weight of my hand will keep the throttle in position without needing to grip it with my fingers. So, the Crampbuster in collecting dust.
Decent
I wanted to like this more but it does what it advertises.

At cruising speed it was pretty handy but it kind of threw me off during gear changes and coming to a start and stop it seemed to get in my way too much.

When I would grab front brake at a stop light etc I would inadvertently rev the throttle and it was too hard trying to figure out how to control the touchy throttle response when my hand kept bumping this thing taking off.

I didn't like it for driving in town but I could see it being handy on a longer trip to rest my hand. With frequent starts and stops it was just in my way.
NOT a cruise control...but not bad!
I am updating my review of this product. I had originally purchased it thinking it was an inexpensive type of cruise control device. That, it is not! Though it was listed in the online catalog under cruise control units. It is a very simple device that does just what it says it does. It allows you to hold the throttle at whatever speed you want, without having to actually grip the throttle. Just resting your hand on the cramp buster is all it takes. I've yet to go real long-distance with it, but I did 120 miles today and definitely saw the utility of this little thing. I like it!
Great handy device
I own two of these crampbusters. They clip on quickly and easily when you're stopped. Its nice to be able to stretch out your fingers on your right hand while on a long cruise. And it also gives you different angles that you can hold your right hand to keep constant speed.

Good stuff.
Awesome!
Love it! Would not tour without it!

PROS: awesome, Fatigue saver

Well worth it!
I've tried half a dozen different throttle assist products. This is by far the easiest to use! No cruise control on my bike, and I never got comfortable with some of the mechanical type throttle locks. This slips on easy, adjusts easy, and feels much more safe when out on the road. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a simple solution for wrist fatigue and throttle control.
I love it. Relieved throttle fatigue by at least 75%. Without a doubt, the best $10 I have spent on my motorcycle. Well, worth the money, and does not slip. Also easy to adjust.
Great product. Love it
Very practical and a good bit for my money
Received it in the mail promptly and very pleased with easy installation
Simple but makes long rides more enjoyable
I actually like these well enough I bought a second one so I can leave one on my triumph tiger 850 (it has hand guards so it's a pain taking these on and off it can be done without removing the guard but I feel like making this product flex that much repeatedly would damage it) while still having one I can use with my Kawasaki and Honda.
Budget cruise control
Best $10 I ever spent. No more cramps.
Ok
Let's me open hand to stretch while riding. May still get a throttle lock at some point because feeling the plastic all the time is annoying, though it doesn't affect control or anything, I just notice it.
Bust that cramp
Amazing I love this so much for longer rides. Anything over 45 min. To 1 Hr. before and my hands would be so sore after I got the crampbuster (totally accurate name) I could ride all day without hand fatigue. Install is beyond easy so I have no problem pulling it off of I'm going to a show or taking beauty shots. Then it just pops right back on.
Love Love Love
I love this thing, I've put on over 15k miles the past few months and can't imagine going without my crampbuster
waste of money
Too short to even reach my brake lever, nothing is close by which it can lock on. This thing is not universal. If ur brake lever is only 1.5inches away from handle bar, it shud work fine. But if the lever is in normal position then its a waste of money.
As good as always
Used this on previous bikes I've owned and it has always been easy to use and helps with hand cramping on longer rides and this one is no different
A Lifesaver on Long Rides
This thing is a lifesaver when I'm riding 100+ miles in a day. My throttle hand used to go numb on long rides, but I've had zero problems since installing this. The standard diameter fits my Sportster's OEM handgrip perfectly and was straightforward to install. I bought the narrow width and I can still comfortably operate the throttle with just my wrist while cruising. It's also narrow enough that it doesn't get in my way for everyday riding, so I just leave it on all the time. Serious bang for the buck, I 100% recommend it!
Don't waste your money
Unusable due to slippage.
Buy it.
Fantastic simple piece of plastic. Allows me to open my hand up and avoid cramps or discomfort.
Crampbuster Cruise Control
Helps with tingling fingers and small enough it doesn't get in the way. Definitely worth the purchase.
Crampbuster
Fits well, works as intended
Well worth the money!
This is the next best thing to a throttle lock. It really keeps my throttle hand fatigue to a minimum. No more reaching across with my left hand to shake out my right one.
Great
Works great, takes some pressure off the hand for longer rides
Crampbuster Cruise Control Wide
Works great! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cheap way to assist in throttle control. Haven't taken it on a long ride yet but I'm sure it would be great.
Does what it's supposed to do.
Works as it should, but I find it a bit uncomfortable. I don't use it, but that's due to personal preference, it's perfectly functional.
Get it.
A "Must-have" for daily commuting. So easy to install and adjust, new bikes without it seem lacking.
Life saver.
So simple but made the biggest difference. I used to not be able to keep my hands on the bar for extended periods but this thing has saved me
It did what it is supposed to do
no issues for me good thing to have for longer rides
Flimsy
Got it, installed, broke in a few days.
3 star
Narrow helped a bit. Get the wider ones if you can
Needed for longer rides
I've only used this for a short while. Use is very simple and gives the grip a rest on longer rides. I have it adjusted just to where it can be used if required. For any time I need to its close and intuitive to use. It also seems to make throttle modulation easier with less effort as it's designed to allow holding position. It sort of feels like stepping on the gas in a car.
Works
Simple and effective, have used this for years.
exactly as advertised
Exactly as advertised. A bit smaller than expected but that's even better
Might Work for You
Pretty good. I don't recommend these for every ride but for longer rides it's a little bit of a life saver.
Good product. Cheap, easy to install, and it works. I just rest my throttle hand on it and the fatigue and numbness of long rides is gone
My bike doesn't have Cruise Control. This def helps. I keep a spare around.
Simple add on. but it does help on a long ride.
It works great
Love it. Easier on my wrist now.
Its a gas really works
Well I lost the first one after it slipped of the Kuriakin iso grip
This one I used the fat rubber band and it is nice and snug.
It definitely helps relax my wrist and right hand when twisting the throttle.
Used them for years and lov'em.
I'm using it in an unconventional way. I have bad arthritis in my right wrist. By moving the crampbuster to the inner part of the throttle, it enables me to control the throttle with my thumb. works great!
Not strong enough and kinda cheap looking but does help once your on the highways if you get it adjusted right first but doesn't stay like it should
Have one on all of my motorcycles.
Love the cramp buster! Works perfectly and really helps with hand and the wrist for comfort while riding distances. Very satisfied!
Gets the job done
It works great. Easy to install and adjust. Can't beat it for the price.
great tool for longer rides
Easy to put on or take off. Took a bit of experimentation but now I know exactly how to orient it to keep it out of my way or to use it on longer hauls
Good
Great job on this
Works fantastically well. Really saves my hand
Does the job
Good purchase. Item does the job.
Great Wrist Saver
Great wrist saver for long rides. I've used this for several 3-5 day rides, and it's a must have for an older bike without cruise control.
Works well
Impressed at how well this works. Would, and have recommended for to many of my friends.
Nice item to have
This will be a nice added feature to my Custom Look.
It's an essential item if your going to put some Highway Miles on those wheels.
The Original CRAMPBUSTER fits perfectly in my onboard tool bin.
Overall good ...
Worked for many years and helped with hand pain on the longer rides. Tended to slip a little bit after the grip started to wear ... but took a long time. Takes a little getting used to.
Great
Works as intended. Would purchase again
Great accessory for highway riding
I love this thing! Best money I've spent on an accessory hands down, and it was cheap! Easy to install, significant decrease in wrist strain. Stays put and works consistently, mine never slips. I recommend this to anybody who is already familiar with their bike and does a good number or highway miles.
Great addition to my Electra glide.
Extremely small. Maybe I got wrong size, but when I push down on it, it doesn't hold the throttle even a little bit.
Works very well for almost no cost.
Very good...
works as expected. Allows for a lighter grip on the throttle reducing the tingling and numbness I get at times in mind hand.
Purchases as a replacement option on hand when needed.
Works great.
Simple install, works great. Makes longer rides much more tolerable.
Shouldn't have to sing the praises of the cramp buster...everyone should already know. Cruise control is great but only viable sometimes. The cramp buster is viable 100% of the time.
3rd version of this item I have had , I actually bought it for the chrome accent.........it helps alot with carpal tunnel and arthritis issues for longer rides
I di not like throttle locks. In the old days it seemed if you laid a bike down, often as not the engine would continue to run for a short time. This is a nice, inexpensive way to control the throttle without needing to grip it. It is also easily repositioned or removed.
Cheap but Cheap
Snapped off within the first week I had it. Replaced the grips and got the matching kuryakn wrist rest.
Looks nice
ok product
Alright. Could go without it.
I've used it a few times now and I must say it helps a good bit. Stays sturdy where you put it and makes it a lot easier to stretch the throttle hand. Well worth the price.
Cheap and easy to use.
Takes the wrist strain out of long rides.
Does the job
Nice little addition. Does what it says it'll do.
Used for 459 miles today, worked great.
It really helps
What more can I say. It helps eliminate the throttle hand cramping on a longer ride.
Have used this product before, works great.
Should have purchased Years Ago
I am an older rider (65) so my wrist are not what they once were, plenty of abuse on MX bike and working on a computer). This has added hours to my ride time on my Triumph Speed Twin (great bike by the way from a guy who has owned 60 bikes). Wish I had bought one years ago. So little money but should a return on my investment.
Extremely useful item! I have been using Crampbusters for 15 years and on all my bikes. Makes long stretches easier, reduces hand cramping (like the name says!), and helped minimize effects of carpal tunnel "buzzing". Even if you have cruise control there are times this will be more effective. Sizes to fit almost every hand/control configuration. Highly recommended!
Works as advertised. I've bought a couple of these and it really helps. However they did snap after a couple of months. Wish it was made out of a more durable plastic.
Worked out great
Crampbuster wide model
Great for resting your right hand and alleviating numbness. Comes in chrome options to to match your bike. Probably one of the best upgrades in terms of price.
just ok, maybe I need more practice riding with it.
great product!
Fits, feels great, and makes riding easier on the throttle hand! I can literally ride down the highway with one finger if i was stupid enough to do so. Very easy to install, and couldnt imagine riding without it. Really keeps your hand from cramping on long rides, plus lets you relax and ease up your grip on the bars.
Very helpful on a long ride, this is the second one for me.
Works great, highly recommend.
It helps like it should.
love it have had broken wrist with arthritis and it helps when hands become num
Not to bad
I got this for my sportbike, I figured get the bigger one cause I have a huge hand, my mistake, long and narrow for the sportbike, short and fat for any other, it just takes up to much space on a sports bike no matter how big your hand is, works well once you get the hang of it, would only use for longgggggg rides, enjoy!!
easy to install
2 second install works great
Cruisin
Easy to install and works well on the open road
BEWARE SPORT BIKE RIDERS

I ride a NINJA ZX 6R and having this installed on my handlebar just felt like it got in the way when I was riding ANYWHERE other than the highway.
I'll probably keep it around in case I ever go on a really long trip

I hate to give this a bad review, because on a different motorcycle it may work just fine.
Saves the hand and wrist from fatigue and strain.
Ive been using one of these since 2008 and have enjoyed my rides using it. On arterials it makes it a bit difficult so I slide it lower on the throttle. When on the freeway I make sure it is up higher so I can use my palm to push it down for acceleration. This is a great product and I recommend it to anyone who lays down the miles.
This is a very simple product but it works great and relieves pressure on your hand while riding.
great iv used for years
Fatigue buster
Inexpensive, easy to put on and a real wrist saver.
5 Stars
Fantastic. My hand doesn’t cramp up.
Easy fix for cramping hands/wrists
Easy to attach, sturdy and secure and relatively unnoticeable if thats something you worry about. Takes a lot of pressure off the wrist and My entire arm is much less tense thanks to it, highly suggest this small addition for any long ride.
Great for the long ride

I'm not seeing that this gadget really makes that much difference. It just takes up space on the grip.
Manual Cruise Control!!!
If there was such a thing as a manual cruise control mechanism this is it. I do a 200km commute daily. This has been a lifesaver.
Love worth it since i have no other option
Very helpful and dirt cheap. Cant lose.
Very helpful and dirt cheap. Cant lose.
So far so good, hasn't broken yet. Thought it might when I had to expand it over the stock HD grip.
I had one of these types before (not this brand) and it snapped after a month so we will see.
It will save your wrist!
Its really simple to clip onto the throttle. I was impressed with how easy it makes accelerating and holding speed. The difference between using it and not are enormous! Great product. It will come in handy on longer rides. I cant comment on durability because I have only used it a few times.
Yup
Works great. Does what it says its going to do lol
Did not fit my bike
Could not test
It's just a chunk of plastic
Works as advertised. Not much else to say.
sore thumbs?
This will definitely take care of that.
best bang for the buck!
If you're looking for a good cruise control hack, this has the best bang for the buck! Should have bought this months ago!
Cramp buster
Works well. Pretty much eliminated numbing of right hand. Takes a little time to find the right spot for comfort but once there it's worth the money.
Didnt fit my FJ-09
It doesnt fit EVERY bike, thats for sure
Works well.
I got this to help ease pressure on my wrist during longer rides. It works well, very easy to install.
These things are amazing!!! I'll never ride without one!
Wish I'd had one sooner
Went on a 1000 mi. Iron Butt run. This was tea ll a life saver. I was in the middle and couldn't use bikes(2010 Ultra)built in Crouse control. My hasd never cramped or went to sleep.
It Works
It is as advertised. It fits snugly on my throttle. Did not have to use the rubber band spacer, but I kept it in case the Crampbuster stretches. It hasn't as of yet. It has already saved me hand pain in my right hand, after a long ride.
Instant comfort
Love this thing, take about 2 minutes to install and eases the tension on your throttle hand instantly.
Crampbuster
A good idea at a reasonable price and it works great! Nuff said!
Does what it should
I've used this product on my old bike and my newest bike. A simple but effective thing to use to ward off fatigue, especially on trips where you are holding a throttle position for extended periods. Takes a little fiddling with to get the perfect angle for the throttle positions you use most, but simple enough to adjust at a stoplight or something.

I talk about this briefly on my YouTube channel.
https://youtu.be/xNcQUjRJ6BI
A cheap solution without loosing control
5 minute install. Works well to give you hand a rest and not in the way when you don't want to use it. I highly recommend it for those who don't want the expense of electronic cruise.
I put these on everything
I put this on every bike I have or have had since I don't usually buy bikes with cruise control. I have a tendency to take long, multi-day rides with camping involved. When you are riding 450+ mile days for a week at a time, this is the next best thing to cruise control for the price. I have looked at throttle locks and such but they seem to be unsafe to me. I like the control and comfort this little piece of plastic offers.

Features and style are low because it only does one thing but does it well. It doesn't look 100% awesome but is very utilitarian. To some, like myself, that is very appealing.
Old favorite
What can be said about the original crampbuster? It works and it is a great addition to any bike. I even have electronic cruise control on my Triumph. I use the Crampbuster for everyday stop and go commuting.
Good idea!
There were no instructions on how to position the Cramp buster Cruise Control. This product has to be positioned just right on the throttle, if not it could cause a major accident by giving your cycle too much gas which could lead to injuries.
wonderful little accessory
I've used this for a few months now. Most of the time it is out of the way for city commuting. Before I get on the highway I adjust it into position so my hand can rest on it gently to maintain speed, and I haven't had any bad cramps since
I like the extra width
I had a different " crampbuster" for years, but it slid around to easily and was too skinny. I was worried the fatter (medium) one I purchased here might be too fat. It is not. There is still plenty of room for my hand, and the extra thickness served exactly the purpose I was looking for, which is more ease of use and convenience. I also thought it might create an extra danger concern due to its size, but it never gets in the way accidentally. It also stays in place much better than my old one. It turns out to be everything I was looking for. Very happy.
Works great, only downside is that it is easy to break at the seam. It needs to be made out of something other than plastic, maybe a stronger light weight metal. Also, slips out of place, constantly has to be re-adjusted. But still keeps my hand from going to sleep, which is great for long rides. Would recommend, but with some reservation.
A must when doing trips over the weekend. Helps with the hand not cramping up, just like the name. Worth the money.
Makes long trips way better for the hand. No more cramping!
