Handy for long rides, an impediment for day-to-day local rides

This is a product that is easy to fit and functional for its intended purpose. My bike is a '14 Kawasaki Ninja 650. I did find however that my throttle grip is too narrow to leave this installed on local rides. Note, I did order the narrow version. It takes up too much room on the grip. When installed and set in the correct position which takes a little trial and error to get right it relieves the strain from keeping the throttle position using your fingers and wrist. So, on the highway when you're covering miles of constant speed riding this works quite well.
But day to day it is a hindrance to leave on the handle bar.

Worth twice the price

I borrowed my wife's Cramp buster yesterday , rode A total of 381 miles . When I was on the twisties with my buddy I turned it so it was not in the way , back on the straight Texas highway flip it around . I could maintain speed with my hand completely open .

Required for those long hauls!

I have been using the Crampbuster for over a year and it still works. When I was living in Florida, I rode back and forth from Tampa to Jacksonville and the Crampbuster delivered. Now I ride back and forth from Maryland to Norfolk, VA which is around four hours one way for me and the Crampbuster still delivered. I put the Crampbuster at the end of my grip and just lay my palm on it. When I get to a light or in traffic, I just move my hand up the grip and off the Crampbuster. Only issue is adjusting to increase speed. For safety, don't adjust it while at highway speeds. Pull over, move it up or down then get back on the road. Overall, this is your best bet, especially for people who are afraid of the cruise controls that lock down your grips.

PROS: Easy Installation, Good Durability, Prevents grip fatigue

CONS: Can't adjust on the fly

Simple, foolproof design. Excellent product.

I put these on all of my motorcycles. They are semi-flexible molded plastic that wraps around the throttle grip and allows you to rest your wrist without having to grip the throttle tightly. Not quite cruise control, but the relief is very welcome, whether it's a short ride or a long tour.

The Crampbuster won't rotate toward the rider without pulling the throttle, which is exactly what it's designed to do. Pushing it away from the rider is easy, and rotating it out of the way for slow-speed maneuverability is easy.

This is one of the best $11 that I've spent on motorcycle accessories. Installation takes seconds, and it can be easily removed if you ever decide you don't want it installed.

Works well, but...

The Throttle Boss works as advertised, but keep in mind that when set for highway cruising, it may interfere while at lower city street speeds. I found the first week or so that I would be accidently reving the engine while braking. Just keep adjusting it until it's in the sweet spot where you can use it at speed and not interfere with braking.

Great for highway, but be careful with it on the streets!

This is an incredibly simple tool, which does its job well. You can rotate it 'forward' to move it around the grip to keep it partially out of the way, but if you rotate it the other way, it twists the throttle.

I found that after getting on the highway, I would have to clutch in and adjust the crampbuster to get ideal position, but then I could rest most of my palm against the device to keep the throttle engaged and to take some of the strain off of my fingers/wrist.

Definitely a good thing to have for a long trip, but I prefer to leave it off unless going for a few hours.
