Petty build with nonsense orings insertions.
Job could be easy id it wasn't for the last (small thick one) oring. Putting it back together was too difficult. The oring would not sit in the collar to be able to push it up with the A tool. Wish there was a better way to seat these orings. Would be nice if we can just replace the whole unit as one piece. Ex: lift the check valve, disconnect the gas line, insert the whole piece as one, prebuilt as both orings, spring, and valve in a housing, insert prebuilt piece, connect the gas line back and done. Instead of having to try and shove all the pieces in one by one. My way...NO tools necessary. Disconnect, insert one prebuilt piece, reconnect. That easy.

I just needed the 1 larger diameter O-ring. It was a tiny bit smaller in thickness. I spent about 5 minutes installing it very carefully with a paper clip. I lubed it with some WD-40, hooked up the fuel line and no leak! The Harley dealer told me it could not be done. Yes it can. I have since put 1,200 miles on the bike with no issues. I bought 2 packs so I had a spare.
It corrected my leak. Did not need the Fuel Tool to replace
Wrong o ring for the job
The valve kit gives the wrong size morning and it still leaks after installation. You need a metric 40x20x2mm to fit the fuel valve spring assembly.

Kit works as described. Though I am not sure the lower o-ring is exactly correct. Put three lowers in and valve leaked worse than 20 year old o- ring removed. Talked to customer service at fuel tool, said I had pieces of old o-ring in groove. Don’t think so as I used a dental pick to clean that groove and old o-ring, And out 100% intact. Bought an o-ring from John Deere as recommended on hd forums. Someone also recommended a metric o-ring, it held for two weeks. Fuel tool did offer to send me more o-rings. Use plenty of lube on the o-ring. Btw, I despise fuel injection for reasons such as this. Probably have 8 hours invested over three weeks, two o-ring kits and about $150 for a 10 cent o-ring.

Harley Fuel Check Valve Rebuild Kit
There is a lot of debate on the forums about the lower O-ring not working. I had that issue. Tried several from hardware store per forum rec's, none worked. The FuelTool O-ring leaked worse than the 20 year old one I removed and I validated correct install visually. Seems to be aa material thickness issue. <br />One person on the forum said it is a metric O-ring, bought a metric O-ring kit and issue resolved. 10mm x 14mm x 2mm. <br />Sent Fuel tool an e-mail as well. <br />The tool kit works well.

Used it on a sportster where the check valve can not simply be replaced. Gas was leaking out because o rings were disintegrated. Was very easy to instal, took 5 minutes and stopped the gas leak. Remove the gas tank and turn the tank upside down , don’t try to work upside down with tank on bike.
Fixed the leak right away. No fancy tools needed.

Did what it was supposed to. You do not need the specialized install tool they say you do though. I was able to install it (carefully) using a small pick.
Nice kit. Impossible to find these o-rings in Viton / Metric. Takes care of the leak problem.
This kit is so easy to put in and it works perfectly. No more tring to work out the o ring size.
Everything worked fine for my 2009 electra glide. I only used the o-rings. Just use a little WD40 & the proper tools & you're good.

We installed these on a cold day. The leaked but not as much as the previous leak. I ordered another package. In the meantime I rode the bike several times. It stopped leaking. I suspect the heat in the o-ring area softened the rings an allowed them to seal. At the moment, no leaked. Much easier to install if you remove the tank and work on it up side down. Use good tweezers. No need for the $100 tool.
The second o-ring is junk it doesn't stop leaking had to find another one and replace it it ripped in half. The rest of the kit works fine the first o-ring to thick one works perfectly if I had known the other o-ring wouldn't have worked I would not have bought the package

Great price and worked just fine. My only advise? Get the installation tool. I didn’t and it was a pain to remove and install with a Mirror and flattened paper clip.

Great product! Fitting was absolutely perfect! IF in need of the entire hook up, I would say its a good deal. I only needed the two O rings and if I would have purchased them by them selves it would have costed nearly double rather than the rebuild kit. Over all, quality product.

Part was as expected and shipped very quickly. Took me about 1 hour to replace parts in the check valve and quick connect. Tip: if you don’t have a metal dental pick get a large baby pin, straighten it and fashion a small half-hook on the pointed end. Works great to remove the old o-rings. Just bought a new (used) H-D, first time owning one since a 17 year hiatus into MC’s and this is my first purchase with JPC..would give them A+ for price, quality, shipping. Will be back.

The kit is perfect. I only needed the o ring, but I installed the whole kit. I reccomend purchasing the installation tool if your budget allows.
I installed the orings but the quick disconnect was still leaking. After one day the leaking stopped. I believe the o rings swelled up and sealed .
What can I say? The parts work and seem to be a good quality

Harley and two bike shops wanted 950.00 to rebuild entire guts of tank including check valve. Fuel Tool Kit and Fuel tool kit rebuild kit parts completely repaired my 2003 Harley check valve. total, cost 99.00 My O rings were pieces, new ones worked great!!!
O'rings fit just fine but the check vavle pin was to big to fit in the check valve body. Crappy price for items that doesn't fit.

The o-rings are delicate, if you don't have the $100 fuel tool to reinstall (everyone has them on backorder) they can easily tear trying to seat them in the groove.
Identicle to factory parts. Fraction of HD cost. I recommend this kit.

The kit was well made, however it was a little small for the check valve, the ring kit did not match the Harley rings at ALL, so had to put it in the shop, so waisted about $100 for both
Solved the leaking problem.
This kit lets you repair the female portion of the gas line quick connection. Harley claims it can't be repaired and charges you $43 for the part and $180 to install it. JP sells the kit for about $15 including shipping. They sent it out USPS by mistake the first go around but sent a replacement UPS immediately at no cost. One good measure of a company is how they handle problems and JP did just fine.
With this kit , it will save you time and money from not taking it to a dealer .
This is a good thing since our gas has sugar.lol..O-rings work fine and was a quick fix..
