I bought this to go along with my 16" Carlini Gangster Apes on my 2013 Road Glide. I'm happy with the quality. Its a shame that you can't see it once you finish up the install. I'd recommend these if you are going to the 1.5" diameter handlebars.
Doesn?t fit 2009 street glide. Had cut out the section on lower piece so handlebar wires would fit. And the top piece was too bulky for the ignition plate piece. Don?t buy it.
Very unhappy with this item. First of all, all the drilled and tapped holes were full of chips and tapping fluid (so much that it leaked out in the vacuum package and ruined the La Choppers sticker inside). Most of the machined surfaces were still sharp and not deburred. Also, the geometry of this clamp did not allow for use on a 2014 Electra Glide Ultra Limited because it wouldn?t let the cutouts on the inner fairing sit properly on the bars. Couldn?t return it because the was no drilled and tapped hole for the ground wire, so I put one in myself before I knew it wouldn?t fit
